It can be Vedic or Incarnate divine beings like Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji the ones who have realized the Brahma- The Supreme conscious The ones who are themselves equivalent to the Lord So with those Shastra-given Mantras one must practice the way as it is elucidated in the Shastras Mind settles down gradually But remember, the desires for the objects is primordial in the mind that's why it doesn't go easy The engagement practice in the mortal world is quite strong while the practice in meditation isn't adequate That's why it is required... to spend more time and, again and again be in the company of an enlightened Master Sit in his/her presence Listen What one listens... Their own wisdom is incomplete God is the one that is omniscient God is the one that is the truth God is the one that is Supreme conscious God is the one that is bliss So the one that is Sat-Chit-Anand, we call it the Absolute Supreme ; The one who is sitting away at some place, we don't call him God And the same cosmic conscious absolute existence is dwelling inside my 'self' So, find out inside you Where is he? In the heart in the body or in the mind or in 'You' So, you'll have to discover, right? You'll have to find out And even bigger question! Who is the one trying to find out? He'll need to be discovered as well Who are you? And the truth, the day it becomes clear who I am.. you'll know who the God is This will also be clear But one thing is certain Inside me only inside as well as outside... like the space is inside as well as outside this hall- likewise' Brahman is inside as well as outside me But inside and outside is a mere imagination- an illusion playing up in front of the eyes and nothing more The air in which you are breathing, that air is one or more All bodies are made up of the same five elements- so are they one or more than one? But this logic of oneness cannot be understood by all It is not incomprehensible for the people blinded by their belief systems Those who are egoistic of their beliefs can't comprehend this It is understandable only to the one who listens to the Upanishad's wisdom How lucky you are that you are born in a nation where Upanishads are born And, how lucky you are that your are listening to the same Upanishad's wisdom in the present times as well The same Upanishadic wisdom after removing ignorance will result in so-called unison with the divine Although Supreme existence is eternally attained; He never got parted or separated from me Such a possibility doesn't arise as-well That's why, we sang that shabad- "Kanth Laaye, Avgun Sab Mete"- He keeps me in his protective embrace and takes away all my vices "Dayal Purakh Bakshand"- He is such compassionate and forgiving one If we have any relationship, it is only with the Absolute Supreme Existence- rest all is temporary! What is it? Now A husband was going somewhere along with his wife. Some friends met for the first time They met after a long time; they were childhood friends and met in their youth One asked, how are you doing- He said: fine. They asked who is she- He replied, she's my temporary wife Is he saying the right thing or wrong? But he'll receive a hurling shoe Because the one standing in front won't be able to comprehend what he's trying to say- temporary. Everything is temporary I received a letter- Our father expired, we have become orphan I said if you'll believe your father being a body made up of flesh and bones then you have certainly been orphaned. Now cry out loud, beating your chest But your father is the Supreme existence- If you won't see him... then sorrows will not recede And we are the children of Lord- if this statement is understood then tell when will we be orphaned? Huh? When? In which place? in what time? In no time; In no place!
