Your relationship with God is so much of fear, it is distant, no emotion of fear it is distant, no emotion is attached in it just go to the temple, Gurudware, must bow your head so then just bow your head & come back most of the time I see people are afraid that God will get angry, God will be furious does a father ever get angry with his son? so then God how can he be angry with you? but the kind of religion that is taught to you the relationship is only of fear, no love in that the relationship with God of fear, not love there is no love but Bani helps us overcome fear and leads us to love that's what it teaches us so in the relationship of deep love you are my family, whatever you do, is in my best interest, this is a very dangerous statement which often people do not like what is it? whatever you do, whatever God you do, is that is for my good, for my welfare the question is not that what do I see my good in, the question is that what you do for me, that is for good for me, meaning in my mind for myself I have no plan, this life is given by you, the universe is yours now whatever will be the plan in this, it will be yours, how can it be mine? this is complete surrender this feeling wrapped with utmost faith and devotion, it does not arise from thinking of the intellect ordinarily when people, when they love anybody, even another human then their love lasts until it works in their favour, they are benefiting out of it, gaining money wealth, assets they get fame, the day this stops then the love of worldly people vanishes finishes completely but a devotee's love is with God let me add this, someone who he has never seen how does one fall in love with that? I raised this question yesterday and many people's minds have shaken since then but with logic you will have to go with it to close your eyes and following the herd blindly... is not spirituality where is the logic where's the intelligence? God is not there if he was there then why would I suffer loss, I did....... a lady was telling me that 'I' 'got many Akhandpath done but my son's' 'Visa did not come through, there is no' 'God'. I said wow because your visa didn't come, you are questioning God's existence, creating a doubt so these foolish people, will they ever understand what is God? or who is HE? it's difficult, very difficult this is why again and again I say this that in temples & Gurudwara mosques and churches inside those the thousands & crores of people that are crowded looking at them don't assume that they are all religious, they are just crowd followers, so: 'they went' 'I went too, they went, so I went too....' he worships, he prays five times a day he bows down in a temple & rings the bell he does Aarti & lights an incense stick, they are just following the crowd they have not sought the one who has sought, he is called a Sant, someone asked God what is the proof of your being so he when he saw a mahatma a sant so he felt overjoyed & said there definitely has to be a God otherwise there cannot be so much joy so much joy cannot just be there, there has to be something something is there that I do not have yet, what is that is it only the higher knowledge? is it only just words or more beyond mere words something more I said it, there is a meaning of words too, a name has an identity too behind the name so the one who finds that then he gets the joy, the happiness the energy and the strength and the one who has only mere words, mere words are hollow, empty the words have no value that which the words indicate if that one can get hold of then one has everything so you say where is God? I am saying it is the proof of Bani which tells us that this breath that you are taking wouldn't happen if there was no God if there was no God then your eyes will not be able to see it is with HIS energy that our senses of knowledge and action function , it is with HIS energy that mind works, with HIS energy breath goes in and out of the body heart beats green, blue, yellow, red any vegetable you eat, blood formed is always red whose work is all this? engineering, that this system never fails so, Gurudev in these words is describing God you are the basis of my existence the closest to you is your Prana with which the mind and body is functioning the basis of that Prana the foundation of life is God himself how can we then say he is far? how can we then say he is far?
