तेरा किया मीठा लागे AV Ep 1381 l Daily Satsang l 1st Dec 21 Anandmurti Gurumaa

who had laid the foundation stone of Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar because when the.. when the time to lay the foundation stone had arrived at that time, Gurudev had specially invited him and said- 'Sai Ji, we would like you to lay its foundation stone' for the reason that.. Guru Nanak had one mission that everybody should be made to rise above their respective castes and religion and should become a lover of Guru, a lover of God removing aversions from the minds of people the intention is to eradicate hatred from the minds of people he could have done it himself but he asked Sai Ji and from Sai Ji's hands the foundation stone of Harmandir Sahib was laid down and the connection was so deep as soon as Sai Ji became aware that his Sultan has released such an order such a heavily distressing and harsh order for Guru Sahib in order to torture him they are making arrangements for it so that very night, he reached the jail and he requested Guru Sahib saying- "You just give your permission once we cannot tolerate this to such a great person, a sufi sant, a fakir like you, for such a great Guru like you how can this stupid king even think of doing such a thing you just give your order once, I'll give him such a curse that these Mughals will be completely destroyed nothing will have to be done I will simply recite the word and I'll give such a curse that he will die" Sai Ji said this thing with intense anger Gurudev, being an epitome of peace with a sweet voice with immense love Gurudev said to Sai Mian Mir— 'Sai Ji, what do you think if I wish so can I not do this?' but I don't have to do this thing and the thing I won't be doing how can I allow you to do that thing tears rolled down from Sai Ji's eyes 'but do you know, are you understanding what is going to happen to you tomorrow?' Gurudev said- 'Whatever shall happen it will happen with my Lord's will' if my Lord's will is this that I shall be made to sit on a hot plate then, this Arjan won't refuse it I belong to Him only whatever will happen in my life, it will happen by His will hence— 'Tera kiya meetha laage' whatever the Lord would do, that is sweet for me, I accept it the Jyeshtha month, the month of June that has just passed in this very month of June in scorching summer on a hot burning plate he was actually made to sit on it and the oppressors didn't stop at merely this in another large pot, they heated sand...and in case you are aware compared to how intensely fire can burn something directly, hot sand has the capacity to burn twice than that in a large pot, sand was heated and large volumes of that hot sand was poured over his head fire was burning underneath his body how it must have been impaired because of that fire and this hot sand was being poured over his head and an epitome of peace fifth Nanak- Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj kept tolerating all the torture he did have the option that was presented by Sai Mian Mir he had his own power; despite that he makes a choice, he chooses that whatever my Lord does for me I have no complaints regarding that whatever my master says to me, I shall never refuse that I belong to my Guru I belong to Lord whatever happens whichever way it happens it is all acceptable to me the whole day, he was made to sit on this hot burning plate expecting that he would wail, he would cry in pain and he would say- 'Yes, yes I accept Islam' but they didn't get to listen to such a sound the oppressors weren't satisfied even after doing this then they decided that now... the next day fill up a large cauldron with water and boil that water make him sit in that boiling water he.. he, who is a Guru; who thinks of himself as a Guru let's see how far he is able to tolerate the one who is made to sit on a hot burning plate; hot sand is poured over whose head how severely his body must have been injured and that very body, the next day was again made to... it was made to sit in this boiling water Guru kept sitting in it an epitome of profound peace- Gurudev neither he produces any sound, nor cries out in pain nor does he shout he doesn't ask them to stop neither he agrees to that condition of his oppressors that 'yes, I accept Islam' and I leave the path of my Guru, Nanak he said- 'it's acceptable to me, you may do whatever you wish to but I won't change' The third day when they realised that, neither through the hot burning plate despite being severely burnt from the hot burning plate's heat he didn't bow down or, despite being boiled in the hot boiling water he didn't break then they released another order— in a dead cow's skin tightly wrap it around his body the whole body is wounded, it is burnt there are blisters all over the body because of being seated in hot boiling water..the entire body has severe blisters if flesh would be wrapped around such a body that is covered with severe blisters as this flesh would dry up, the blisters would begin to pop and he will have to bear endless pain, torture and then, becoming helpless, he would ultimately say 'I accept', he would say this finally, he would eventually give in it is said that Gurudev was in jail when this thing reached his ears he said 'You do whatever you may wish to but there's a small request I wish to take bath I wish to take bath' the soldiers took him to the river and it is said as he went to take bath in the river he didn't come outside Now, the question arises a lot of deliberation happened over this; in all the followers, there was huge chaos and turmoil that- what has happened?! How did this happen? Why did it happen? then, somebody explained why Guru had taken such a step in order to torture this single body of mine now, they will kill an innocent cow they are inflicting pain upon me, I can tolerate that now, will they kill a cow because of me because of me, a jiva loses its body, this is not acceptable to me and this was known to him that till the time his body is alive they will keep doing something or the other, but now the limit has been crossed because of me, they will take a being's life and that too a cow's life- 'this is not acceptable to me' hence, I leave this body on my own will with his own will, he left his body in the river but when Guru was asked and it is said that Sai Mian Mir used to visit every night to ask and he would always ask; he would cry seeing that upsetting condition of his body and he would say that many times- 'kindly grant your permission now these Mughals will be destroyed completely, please say yes for once' and Guru would say everytime 'Tera kiya meetha laage' whatever is being done by Ishvara it is acceptable to me it is sweet for me no if's and but's The state of a Gyani is beyond the hardships to the body beyond the pains of the body it is way above them and the one who begins to cry and agonizes over his bodily pains and makes a huge hue and cry and says- 'how can I get rid of this pain, this pain should go away' the one who refuses, who has objections how can that person be a Gyani how can that person be a Sant so from your perspective, it can be regarded as harsh but, in his perspective it is a dream in his perspective, it is merely a dream the reality of a flood seen in a dream is this that there's no flood but when it is being seen, it appears to be true but for the one who is awake, it isn't the truth this is why you aren't supposed to be distressed after knowing about the pains and sufferings that come in a Sant or Mahatma's life because they aren't distressed with their own pains and sorrows for all their pains and sufferings, they.. accept them considering it to be the will of Ishvara and I'll also mention a second thing Nowhere, in any of the scriptures, be it in Srimad Bhaagvat Puran be it the Bani of Adi Sri Guru Granth Sahib, be it the Bani of Kabir Sahib, or it is the Bani of some other Mahatma it isn't mentioned in any scripture that the one who will be in remembrance of the Lord won't experience hardships that person won't have any sorrows in his life, this has not been mentioned anywhere nowhere it is a highly important thing that needs to be understood when everything is pleasant, everything seems to be good and you say that we believe in God it isn't a big thing when everything becomes unfavourable to you everything seems difficult, everything goes wrong, all sorrows.. there's a heap of sorrows surrounding you and even then there's faith in Ishvara this faith is the true faith Belief in God should not be coming from your conveniences when everything is good and hunky-dory and you say- 'O yes my God is there with me' When were they afraid.. when were they afraid when were the saints ever afraid of their deaths? When were saints ever frightened of the sorrows and sufferings that came in their lives? I was reading a couplet- 'Who says.. that he would die when death arrives who says that he would die when death arrives, who says that he would die when death arrives it is just a drop, which will simply merge in the ocean' a drop doesn't die, it simply merges in the ocean the drop becomes the ocean When a drop merges in the ocean, it is not death of that drop it is that the drop has become the ocean now from the perspective of an ignorant being, that drop seems to die from the perspective of the realised one the drop merges in the ocean your perspective is different What you call as pain Sant considers it as Prarabdh (accumulated previous karma fructifying in this birth) what you call the truth Gyani considers it to be illusion what you consider death Gyani considers it as mere change of the scene so, it is a difference of the perspective how you see the things that's how you will understand those things and feel those things Mahatma is the one for whom, it isn't a big thing whether the body lives or dies whether the world praises him or hurls a shoe at him he doesn't care about it and the one who cares he isn't a Sant so don't try to judge somebody and don't try to create an opinion about a Sant, Mahatma 'O why did this happen to them' when they have no complaints, why are you raising objections there's so much stupidity in your mind that you complain when it comes to you, and you are complaining for them as well that why did this happen to them What, Why, How these words cease to exist in the life of a courageous person Why did it happen, What happened, How did it happen doesn't matter! this is why, even if the greatest tragedy strikes him when you'll ask him he'll reply- 'what is it? It's all fine' from the perspective of a Gyani- it's all fine! nothing serious Gyani isn't serious about it Now, this perspective of the higher wisdom is received from a Mahatma, which is why the Mahatma is prayerfully besought till the time, my heart's connection isn't established with him he was a Mahatma, and the day this relation of the heart was established- he became my Sadguru every person who is coming to meet a Guru, does not necessarily belong to the Guru just being in that same room where the Guru is, you don't become a disciple of that Guru No! the day this heart-to-heart connection gets established now understand that this heart is very untrustworthy which is why I have to say- the connection with Guru isn't from the heart, it is a connection of Atman (the true self) the feelings of heart might change, but the Atman does not change hence, we say the relationship between a Guru and a disciple is that of the true self not even of the heart since it is the heart it is untrustworthy; sometimes it gets attached here, other times it gets attached somewhere else
