Faith is it bti is it love different stages of life um to whom at last stage of life I am not clear you have also written not clear and I don't know what you mean by the that last line which seems to be Little M fuzzy anyhow I'll take the first part what is surrendering is it Blind Faith is it bti or is it love now surrendering has nothing to do with Blind Faith the Blind Faith of course is for blind people surrender is not Blind Faith at all surrender as such means like where would your mind surrender to and in the worldly matters we can say a person who has power the powerless will surrender to this surrendering means that I wish to be subjugate with you or I wish to be conjoined with you or I wish to be with you because you are powerful if somebody's after richness or anybody who is very rich the one who doesn't has that much money will of course will surrender to this person who has richness but in the field of adhyatma spirituality the surrender is happening in a in a very different way and that is if you are seeking something if you are searching for the truth if you are looking for answers about the questions which are like about your own existence or the existence of this world and you wish to seek the answers and you have tried to maybe read some books maybe go to some YouTube videos maybe go to Google and try to find through some menion text or or meeting um people and you still can't find the real answer and then you happen to meet a person who is awakened who is realized in Loosely I will use the word guru the one who is a guru who is a complete person complete person in the sense the realization of the truth has happened it has nothing to do with education the academics or the the external Kno hows of Machinery or this or that it's all about realization of Truth Now if you were looking for truth and you couldn't find it and then you meet a person who has found it of course the the surrender will happen it will happen it's not a compulsion but it is something because you were you were wanting it so bad and you couldn't get it and then you meet a person from where this hope arises that if so such person has found the truth so would I and that's what I always say that if in this world even one person has ever realized what the truth is be it ad Shankar or be it some Atri or or any other RI if a single person has found the truth gives hopes to whole Humanity that anybody can find it so who is a guru guru is like a promise to you that it is possible to know the truth I have known it and you would do it too so this uh brings out the leaning towards this person towards the guru the love of course will happen love is not physical attraction love is is not having same thoughts and emotions in truth the love is very Divine and when you are in search of the Divinity and this individual you meet where you get this great assurance that yes it is possible to realize the truth and that person is the evidence and witness to that and that gives you the Leaning the liking so should I say the search of the truth will of course bear the fruit of meeting such individual because this is the power which all of us have the power of the Mind whatever you think will get actuated today or tomorrow so when your search is genuine and you happen to meet the person what else would you do and not love that person so love is is like the closeness which one feels and devotion is where your mind is just totally enamored with this person Loosely in Hindi we can call it the bti what is bti it's not what you do it is what you feel inside so this Divine love or this um heart tohe heart communion which happens that will automatically lead to surrender surrender is that let's say there is only one person who has a picture of water and there is no water anywhere and you are dying with thirst and you meet this person who has the water what would you do you will seek water from this person and of course you would like to ask very sweetly you can't bully the person of course you will ask very gently and request please give me some so this leaning this requesting this being kind this showing this gesture can be called Loosely love but surely it's not Blind Faith blindness and Faith do not come in one line they are diametrically opposite to one another but where there is no knowledge person is already blind so whatever this person might do can be called being done blindly but Adat has nothing to do with blindness it's more to do with love it's more to do with Awakening it's more to do with the you know something Tinkles in your heart which says uh that's my destination from here I'll receive what I wish to seek unfortunately people are not seeking so they really don't know what it means to be in surrender in love in heart tohe heart communion with the master it's a very beautiful experience and very few fortunate people will have that it's something in itself a I would say a biggest miracle if somebody has it it is the greatest Miracle you know the the odds of you being a true seeker and odd of you meeting a realized person out of billions what are the chances and then happening to you know look eye into eye and and your heart rings the bell this is the place and then the rest is just automatically going to happen and that is the Leaning the love the attachment should I say in Hindi or the word is asaki Rohani is it is called the Divine love Rohan is and ish is which will pave the way for the Seeker to attain something see you can't throw money to a guru and say okay now give me knowledge here I pay you that doesn't work that doesn't work at all you can't pay and receive the Divine knowledge this has everything to do with being humble being kind being in surrenders because surrendering one's ego is the toughest thing to do ever ever it's very difficult first to recognize the ego which you have and that ego is so dear to you and then crushing that ego with the mace of surrender very tough to do that's why thousands and thousands might meet a guru but not thousand will get Awakening because their own ego becomes the obstacle it's very hard to let go of the ego it's very very hard that's why surrender is hard Samaran is the hardest thing ever to do I give you an example um the second guru nanak guru angad before becoming the guru was a Seeker was a disciple of gurun nanak and one day gurunanak said that make a platform for me to sit too many people are coming I need some raised platform to sit so that I can see all and all can see me so he made it worked whole day in in 3 4 days finished it Guru comes in and says no no it's not right it's wrong make it again so he broke it and then made again and Guru saw it and he says no it's not correct make it again so he again crumpled it crushed it created third one then fourth then Fifth and it is said everybody was saying what is Guru doing it seems all perfect platform why is he rejecting it every time but Guru is saying no it's not correct no it's not correct and he would in silence say Okay master and he would just crush it and then start the whole exercise again one day a very close to disciple to gurun nanak asked this question why are you doing this why are you being so hard on him Guru said you might see that he is is being rejected for the platform which he is making and he's crushing that platform but what you can't see is I am not I'm not rejecting the platform I am rejecting his ego I'm not asking him to destroy the platform I'm trying to destroy his ego and the day his ego gets destroyed that's the time when I'll buil up a new and wonderful person who has no ego in it so I'm preparing him for a very big responsibility and that is what everybody saw in few years time gurun nanak declared not his sons he had two sons but not his sons who will become his successor but he chose this disciple [Music] [Music]
