Have asked that should Chidabhasa be not a part of subtle body? Definitely Chidabhasa in one way is a part of subtle body and is not also. Like this light is falling on my body so the light is there on the body and also not there. So if I wish to scrape the light from here so I would not be able to but the light is right there, if I wish to rub the light like this so the light won't be rubbed. Due to light you are able to see this body. But the light being here also is separated from this body. Like wise in this 'Antahkarana'... which we are calling mind, intellect, chitta, ego the reflection of my (true self) consciousness in this very mind is called Chidabhasa. So this Chidabhasa is also a part of mind and is not also. Like the light is on this body then also if this body get up and go out then this light won't go with it. Light will remain in its place. and the body is seen in that light so when you are saying I am sad, I am happy. It should be you say mind is upset, mind is happy, but this doesn't come out because this is not remembered. Ahdyasa (super imposition) is there that is why you say I am sad, I am happy. So mind becomes sad and happy. Okay in mind also happiness sorrows comes and go. You just think... sometimes in life you suffered a lot then it felt like oh god now this misery won't go. We will die out of this sorrow. But what happened reaching some point that misery goes and then again mind is empty. Then again something comes into the mind. Then some time go with happiness then happiness goes and misery comes. So Sometimes Kshipta (Chaotic), Mudha (Dull or Lazy), Vikshipta (Partially focused), Ekagra (One-pointed mind) Mind moves in between these four states and going to deep sleep, this mind becomes good child and sleeps going to the lap of mother avidya (ignorance) and then he doesn't remember anything. Then nothing disturbs him. Remember wise or ignorant in deep sleep, everyone becomes equal. Like after dying the reality of every dead person is the same...that only their funeral will be done. May be of a rich, poor, man, woman, child or anyone funeral will be done. Now you bury or burn but the end will be same. As the body has same end, similarly of this mind when it dissolves/merges into deep sleep then all types of misery, happiness, disease, knowledge, ignorance removing oneself from all those this mind goes to the lap of ignorance. But as soon as waking state comes it becomes active. And with the body again me and mine get attached. So we need to understand this that with regular practice, Our attachment with this body and mind which we have assumed out of ignorance. With the sword of knowledge we need to keep piercing and puncturing it. And the truth is actually there is nothing to do only have to understand. In Punjabi it is said, ' gal samajh payi te raula ki ' Raula means noise. If you understood then there is no worries. Is Jeeva imagined? In whose imagination Jeeva is imagined? Mind, intelligence are inert. So can they imagine? Which we call Jeeva that is definitely imagined. what we call mind or intelligence, this too is imagined. and the one who has written this question, Richa That is also imagined. Richa name is also imagination. Your mother, father or any elderly person of your house might have given, the girl who is born, from today her name will be Richa. It could have been Madhuri, Poonam, Purnima, Uttara anything could have been but Richa. So the imagination of name, Richa was given to your body and you truly believe this name that 'I am Richa'. So the name of the body is an imagination and the form of the body is also an imagination. In this box of five elements, in this group of five elements and the mingling of these five elements among themselves. Isn't it surprising? Isn't it shocking that with the conjunction of earth, water, air, fire an ova is created and a sperm goes and changes its form. From one cell to two, from two to four million, trillion cells and a complete body gets created. So this is only an imagination in form of five elements. This table, this chair, this mic, this camera, this wall, my these listeners, are they really present or is this also an imagination? This is said "Bramhan Satyam jagat Mithya, jivo brahmaiva naparah" Adi Shankaracharya lord displays his impregnable truth for us. Whom you say ' I ', it is imagination. Whom you say 'you' that is imagination. Which you say your house that is imagination, which body of eye, ear, nose, mouth, you are thinking as 'I' It is made up of what? It is made up of food, water. If you see food, water as such then you won't feel ' I ' there. That food, water went into your body, so this food, water become 'I'. You start thinking this as 'I'. So this is also an imagination. Your question is, whose imagination is this Jeeva? I would say this is your imagination only. God is there this also you know. Jeeva is there this also you know. To whom you are knowing that is untrue. that which is untrue (mithya), it's base is the chetan (conscious, true self). And in which mind this imagination is going on, the base of that mind is also chetan (conscious). In Vichar Sagar very beautiful it comes 'jahan hoi chetan adhara, tahan na drashta hoi nyara' Where the base of name and form will be consciousness, so it's seer will also be chetan (conscious). And chetan (conscious) are not two, three, four. Conscious is only one. Saying one is also wrong. We can say adwitiya (second to none). So on one conscious power, the imagination of Jeeva, Ishwara is going on. And imagination is imagination. Imagination is not real. Imagination is not true and which is truth that is never an imagination. "Na sato vidyate bhavo, na bhavo vidyate satah" This verse of Bhagvad Gita is so beautiful. My request is that on this verse very long and wide talk on this which I have already done, listen to it definitely. Sixth chapter, look it very carefully. Which you think truth, is it truth? And which is truth that can never be untruth. Which is untruth that can never be true. You are satya swaroop (true self). This is your reality. You can never be untrue. and that which is untrue without any base of truth, how can it be known? So the one knowing the untruth is truth and the witness of untruth is also truth. So untruth also seems to be illusory, in my true self, it doesn't have its own reality. Like the snake visible in the rope doesn't have its own reality. Rope is there that is why, illusion of snake is also there. There won't be any illusion of snake; it can't be, if rope is not there. Similarly without that conscious Brahman, the illusion of the existence of world also can't be there. So this delusion of the existence of world, body, conscience which is apparent that is also happening due to the base, foundation, everlasting, pure, wise, free, timeless, infinite, parambrahman But your vision definitely remains in that world of name and forms but it misses the base, substratum. Like we will say now your sight remains on your body, mind, senses but it deviated from own self. So one who forgets oneself goes astray. Who remembers his own self he always remains established in his own true self. Raman Maharishi used to have a simple preaching in depth and he used to say one thing who is he who is searching? Who are you? Recognize your reality. Recognize your existence. Your existence understand that the one who is asking question, what is Brahman? what is Ishwara? What is Jeeva? These questions, going deep down to the questioner, search... know it that who is the one asking? Who am I; The core question, Who am I; The core search. The day you get answer to this, you get all answers We don't have to go out and seek answers. We just need to dive into our own existence and with the sword of viveka We need to just cut out all the cobwebs of ignorance and darkness. and then see what is already existing Truth is not to be created, Truth is not to be attained, Truth is not to be achieved Truth is just to be realized, once you realize, you can never ever forget that and if you haven't realized then you can use your all imaginations to know what truth is... and yet you will never know what truth is, because you are the truth so you cannot objectify your own self. You cannot objectify the truth You cannot objectify God, there are thousands of people with their closed eyes, waiting for god to appear and they want to have glimpse of god. and they pray and then they sometimes just Hallucinate. Hallucinate as per their samskara and their training and their religious affinities and they have these visions and Ah! they find it so enriching and they feel oh I have seen god. Just remember one thing that which can be seen with your eyes is not god but just a name and form. And all name and form are just illusion so what you saw is illusion. I know its going to be a very shattering statement what I am making. You may see whatsoever and whosoever, I don't have to name it. because you know it whom you believe in and you think that god has this name and form. and the day with your closed eyes you see that form with more lights on it, more dazzling. and you think oh! today I have seen god. Now I am a god realised person. Vedanta just shatters this kind of experiences by saying, The one who sees is God. The one which is seen is the illusion. so whatever is seen or whatever is visible is not god. but the one who is seeing is the god. So you need to understand, its not the god..god..god, the kind of definitions which you have in your mind. When I say God, then its simply means the existence which is ever conscious is embodiment of bliss and is omniscient. As simple as that. We love and respect all the great individuals through whom we saw the expression of knowledge, wisdom and we saw the expression of bliss. whether it is Sri krishna or Sri Ram or Mahadev or Durga and they are all beautiful expressions. It's like waves of that ocean and these waves are beautiful and enchanting. Love the waves but always know this, every wave is just water. So waves get formed and then the waves dissolves back into that ocean The water remains non changing and yet it is changing into these various forms big, small, bubbles, waves, foam sometimes very roaring ocean and mind you when we go to beach We say I have seen the ocean or sea but actually what you saw was waves, what you saw was water. and in that water there were these different formations and the huge amount of water which was seen but did you ever realize, that its nothing but just water. but we see the waves and forget the water. Similarly we see the name and forms but we miss the reality, the truth. and the day you can see beyond the name and form that is the day when you will encounter the truth.
