Religion cannot be an outward show, Religion should be life. When religion becomes my life... the basis of my life, then, the journey of acquiring true wisdom, spiritual practices gets better. See, everyone talks about pleasures of the world. It's just us, talking about the remembrance of the Lord! What does majority tell you? Okay, eat, drink, party, be merry... Slander, badmouth... One woman was saying, "The amount of joy I get to talk ill of others, I never get the same even on eating 'chaat' (a spicy dish)!" Now, see the honesty, she is admitting... It's so much fun that can go on gossiping for hours... Can go on watching TV for hours... But can't do bhajan even half an hour, nor remembrance, nor meditation. This is not a good thing. And remember, if we want then, we can give new direction to our lives and if we don't want then who can force us to walk on this path? -No one. You have come here at your own will. I welcome the same. I greatly honor you. You chose... You chose yourself that may I listen to Satsang, may I go... Now, chose this as well that I will craft a new path in life. The path with the Lord as its destination. My path of Truth, my path of Dharma. My path of spiritual practices. My path of singing praises of my Lord, my path of devotion, This path... & taking to the light of true knowledge... will begin to live... I can say to you that your life will filled with so much happiness... so much tranquility that body...in joy... Heart... in joy....The body will be blossomed... 'eyes welled in joy' It won't take long for this stage to occur. lust, false pride, greed will gradually part from the mind. Make this light a part of your life! Let's listen to this last bhajan of today. Oh, so surely, will find the new path... music The heart akin to a bird is looking for water souce; sound of one flute takes away the aches (of the heart) May the burning sand finds some respite, may a cooling night dawns Just keep this one longing in the heart I'll find a new way... a new way... This crazy mind has to be taught that death is not far and hold on to this light as long as there is life. & bring a new perspective to your life, a new enthusiasm... Make this resolution with renewing your power, that I will not remain just as I am now, I will change my life! With the Lord's grace, I'll change my life! I will remove tamogun, remove rajoguna to increase satvaguna in life. I'll scale up devotional worship. I'll scale up charity, enhance seva. I'll sing the Lord's songs, I'll live with abandon. & would neither worry-distress, & if worry-distress comes to the fore, then considering it as the destiny due to past karmas, patiently, let it pass. A Mahatma... He caught a high fever... This was in Hardwar... In 1988, I was there at Sapta Sarovar. So, I asked.... I went there to see him, I said, "Swami Ji, what happened?" He said, "Some past sin has come to clear account; a guest has arrived at home to settle account, I am clearing the same." He is not saying that there's fever; what he is considering that some past karma has come to give grief. So, no problem! He said, "I am serving the guest and when the he'll be satisfied, then, he'll leave! No complaints... No regrets... Nothing at all! From the last 4 days, he had dehydration, was admitted in the hospital. And as per the doctors, he survived with difficulty. And he was telling me this so laughingly as if he's talking of someone else. Worry, distress... If we accept them, then they grow. And if we don't accept them, Well, how long will it last? It goes away on its own! Never worry about the worry. If some problem comes, So, either consider it as your destiny and patiently let it pass, otherwise, you can also think like that The Lord is putting us in such a hard situation to make us strong. As we become young and strong on running into hardships. What a great thing! So, those who are powerful, they get tested. That's why when exams come, students get scared. But, then they also know that when the results of the examination come, means when they pass, then will get a promotion! Then, will move to the new class! So, the fear of exams is definitely there. But, children also study well due to this. & after giving exams, when they get good results, party a lot, celebrate! So, in life, at times, when a big or small exam comes, When a test comes, then think that this is the time for my promotion. So, those who will never get promoted, they never get tested. Now, you think and tell me. Don't you want promotion in your life, is it so? & if you want promotion, then, exam is a must. Even in Army, whether major or captain, they also need to give exams. Then, they get promoted. Without an exam,without preparing, they also do not get promoted. So, even in life, at times, such difficult phase comes. But, at that time, trust on the Lord, patience, wisdom, prudence, and true knowledge, must live bravely. Do not lament & cry, Don't keep crying. Even if something big happens, be in abandon... Say what? Just do it, you will enjoy... Some trouble occurs, a great difficulty comes, The person in front is abusing, saying something crappy... Look into his eyes, "I don't care, speak whatever you want, no issues!" "You lighten up, dear!" If someone is vomiting, then you should help him by rubbing his back to help him vomit properly. If someone is having a vomit of anger, help him out! Rub his back... If he is abusing. Do it nicely. A bit more loudly! He will look at your face and bang his head, will stop abusing... He will be silent at that very moment, try it. This life, dear one, is a laboratory. Here, you should do different experiments. & if you live wisely then this very life is heaven. You don't need any another heaven. We will create our own heaven here itself. Now, at this time, outside this hall, Which city it is, I have nothing to do with it, whether it's Faridabad or Adi Chunchun Giri... or Gauhati, Mumbai or Pune, doesn't matters as at this time, we are seated making this hall Rishikesh. Satsang, bhajan, kirtan, meditation is happening... The art of learning life is happening... It has become a pilgrimage, dear one! You are on a pilgrimage, no? It's a pilgrimage, dear one! Ganges of True Knowledge. Yamuna of Divine Love! Where they flow, it's what we we address as Prayagraj. So, here True Knowledge also, Divine Love also and Yoga also, dialogue of Sri Ram and Laxman also, then, if this isn't a pilgrim place, then what else is this?
