मन की तृप्ति कैसे l AV Ep 1649 l Daily Satsang l 26th Aug 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

When Mahatma was leaving, since that milkmaid was still seated there, he asked her- O Devi, I would like to ask you a question, kindly answer when the boatman makes one go ashore, he charges two paise; and the milk that you gave, it should cost at least one rupees you gave it without even weighing it The milkmaid replied- O Mahatma, there are no bargains or valuations involved, when it comes to love where bargains and valuations are involved, love does not exist there I just look at his face and when I look into his eyes for a few moments when his eyes that are filled with love look at me, my happiness is such that I don't take note of how much milk is poured in his utensil; I don't keep an account of this thing and Baba, the Beloved with whom you have attached your heart, try loving That Lord truly, then you would also understand that one does not engage in bargains and valuations, when it comes to the Beloved and people do tend to bargain and make valuations like, I met a gentleman who said- 'I listened to your exposition on Jaap Sahib, I really loved it' I said - 'that's a nice thing' he said - 'earlier, I could complete Jaap Sahib in 11 minutes, for my speed was good' I said - 'did you receive any prize for doing so, as if you've stood first in some race' 'who were you competing with?' He replied- 'No, it's just that I was reading it everyday so had developed good speed in doing the same, I had learnt all the words' but when I listened to the meaning of Jaap Sahib, then I understood that every single word is a drop of elixir, and by drinking every single drop of this elixir, dive into the ecstatic meditative state then drink the second drop and dive into the ecstatic meditative state, then the third one and so on; So, if one is able to drink even four such drops of elixir, then why would anybody need the fifth drop You may wander in the world as much as you want to, but do remember that your mind will never will be satiated no matter how much jewellery you get made, your mind will never be satiated one might come out as victorious in elections, but the mind would still not be satiated your longing wouldn't end, you would die without quenching that thirst, and you would depart filled with remorse and guilt This... I can only give the suggestion but Baba Nanak gives a command there's a difference He gives a command I can only request you to do this, that this life has been given to you to only do this; If you did not do this, then what else did you do, O dear? what else did you do then? Baba says- 'aadhaes thisai aadhaes'; there's a command, this is a command for you what is that command? 'aadh aneel anaadh anaahath jug jug eaeko vaes'; listen, for I shall now reveal the secret of Parmeshwar for you The One who is without any beginning, there's no 'aadh'; The One who is without end 'anaahath;- The One who cannot be slayed; 'na iti hantah' The One who can never be slayed is anaahath 'jug jug eaeko vaes', the epoch might change, but His swaroopa (essence) remains the same form is of the body, swaroopa is of Atman (The True Self); the form might change but the swaroopa never changes, it never changes aadh.. aneel..'aneel' means The One who is free of all impurities otherwise, 'anal' also refers to agni (fire); so 'aneel' is The One who is devoid of agni, which means It is not the five elements anal, jala, prithvi, vayu, akasha, the creation has manifested out of these five elements one element has been mentioned, you can understand for the other four elements in the same way; Means, The One who cannot be confined to just a physical body Throughout the epochs, He is One and the Same 'eaekaa maaee jugath viaaee thin chaelae paravaan'; Here, Baba lays it out so beautifully, that a mother has three sons Who is that mother? Maya (illusion); Who are the three sons? Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh there's One who creates, One who sustains, One who destroys If you wish to look at it through the Puranic perspective, then Purana says that creation happened from Brahma; and I would state it in the scientific way that the energy from which creation happens is Brahma the energy from which sustenance happens, that energy is called Vishnu and the energy from which the five elements get destroyed, the bodied get destroyed, That is Shankara; That is Mahadeva 'ouhu vaekhai ounaa nadhar na aavai' Paramatman (The Supreme Reality) watches over the three energies, but they are unable to turn around and see who directs them I'll mention a small incident here- mentioned in the Vishnu Purana, there's a story that once Lakshmi asked this question to Vishnu- 'O Deva, whom do you always meditate on, with your closed eyes?' then Vishnu replied- 'O Devi, I meditate on Parabrahman' meditating on Whom, while being one-pointed, I therefore rest in bliss Baba is saying - 'eik sansaaree eik bhanddaarree eik laaeae dheebaan' One, the Creator of the world; One, who sustains the world; One, who destroys the world 'ouhu vaekhai ounaa nadhar na aavai' on Whom, even Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh meditate, That is Parabrahman; However, nobody can see Parabrahman, for it isn't some object that can be seen I cannot see the One with the attributes Asti-Bhati-Priya, with my eyes 'ouhu vaekhai ounaa nadhar na aavai bahuthaa eaehu viddaan' - and this is the surprisingly wondrous thing this is the surprising thing listen to this Shabad with love It is a part of 'Japji Sahib'; it is a Pauri of 'Japji Sahib' Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! The beginningless, immaculate, eternal, invincible One has the same essence in every epoch Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! I wear the earrings of contentment, carry the sack of humility towards the absolute existence, meditation is my sacred ash Remembrance of death is the patched coat, inner purity is the virgin worship, my technique and faith is the staff This treasure of virtues is the path; conquering the mind, the world is conquered Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! Wisdom is the food, compassion is the feast; In every heart resounds the eternal sound of Naad He Himself is the Supreme Master of all; the wealth and occult powers are like bad tastes That Creator controls both, meeting and parting; We receive what is penned in our destiny Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! The beginningless, immaculate, eternal, invincible One has the same essence in every epoch Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! The Existential mother, maya, created three sons (the three energies of creation, sustenance and destruction) One, the Creator; One, the Sustainer; One, the Destroyer They are directed as the Supreme wishes; And they act in accordance with the divine command The Supreme watches over the three, but they are unable to see who directs them; Such is the wondrous way Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! Every heart is the seat of the Supreme light All that was received was received at once The Creator creates and observes the creation O Nanak, the true One's workings are true Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! The beginningless, immaculate, eternal, invincible One has the same essence in every epoch Salutations to that Supreme's command, Salutations! Contemplate 'bhugath giaan dayaa bhandaran' The One who grants the higher wisdom and devotion; The One who grants in abundance 'ghatt ghatt vaajehi naadh', ghatt means your antahkaran; The mind, if I simplify it, then it stands for the mind In your heart, the eternal sound of His naad is reverberating, did you listen to it? You kept ringing bells outside, while being oblivious of the sound of Naad that resounds within You kept listening to the paath being recited outside, and didn't listen to the Naad that resounds within devotion will emerge when one will begin listening to the sound of Naad reverberating within As one listens to That 'anaahath' shabd within Ahaa! These are the words of Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj 'darasan dekhat hi sudh ki na sudh rahi, budh ki na budh rahi' 'dhiaan main na dhiaanu rahiao, giaan mai na giaan hai' As darshan of That eternal Naad happened, it has left me bereft of all the awareness, knowledge of the intellect, the body, the whole world, everything seems to have now been lost Did you listen to this Naad? If you haven't heard this Naad, then understand that you're extremely far from realising your Guru's teachings extremely far! 'ghatt ghatt vaajehi naadh', Guru isn't saying that this Naad resides only in me; He is saying this Naad reverberates in every heart 'aap naathh nathhee sabh jaa kee ridhh sidhh avaraa saadh' That Supreme Master holds the strings of all of us in His hands
