कैसे करें सुमिरन l AV Ep 1658 l Daily Satsang l 5th Sep 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

So Acupuncture works much better and pretty fast in Paralysis But I have to say that why would you even reach the stage of Paralysis? Keep blood pressure stats in check beforehand And let me add another thing Merely by listening to my Satsang, your blood pressure isn't going to get alright For that you'll have to do spiritual practices Sit, do Pranayam for half an hour By doing Pranayam regularly, your Blood Pressure will remain totally normal, under control Do Yog Nidra with Pranayam So by this, you will get better result soon This energy which was making the hand work This energy by which we were able to feel hot, cold That is not happening, why? That energy is functioning no more. Can we see that energy through eyes? Cannot see ! So senses are subtler than the objects And the Devtas of theses senses are subtler than the senses. Devata means that energy through which your senses function— so that energy becomes the Devta of that sense Now they says, even subtler than that Who's that? 'Rama Anandi Avadhpati Soi'— That is the Rama Himself— the one who is Eternal, Ruler of time Subtler than the subtle— Who is that? Further than beyond— who is that? They said, "That is that Rama only" Now how will you meditate on Him? How will you do His Simran (Remembrance)? There is only one way to be in His remembrance By becoming totally one-pointed, the mind gets stilled The consciousness may arise This is called remembrance of Lord in true sense Kids are there, they are small Just now they have set their feet on path of dharma So we tell them to do mantra simran And I see, people are unable to do that as well Someone runs outside to temple Someone runs outside to Gurdwara Nobody runs inside mind Awareness in mind will happen by rising of consciousness Krishna says, "Why?" Why the mind doesn't gets connected? So He has given its reason He has given a very psychological reason— Very scientifically based, this shloka says Visaya vinivartante Niraharasya dehinaha Rasam-varjam raso pyasya param drishtva nivartate May your senses remain restrained He is saying, "May the senses remain in fasting" How our senses will remain restrained? And how the food of senses? Like your eyes crave, 'Let's go to see that' 'Let's go to see that'— it means the hunger of your senses— the eyes want to see something Ears want to hear something A newly wedded bride had come home Mother-in-law says, "Dear, you cook food today" This newly came daughter-in-law says, "Mother, I don't know to cook food" She said, "Your mother was saying the other day that the Samosas, Rasgullas, Gulab Jamun that had come on that day, you had cooked them all" She said, They said so for the purpose of saying, you are wise too You must also have said like that when your marriage took place Your mother might also have said this, "Our daughter has made everything" Mother-in-law says, "What! You don't know to cook" She (daughter-in-law) says, "But I can make very good conversations" 'So you make food, I will make conversations' Kabir ji says that the remembrance of Lord doesn't happen, "Batan hi asman girawe" In the name of remembering Bhagwan, we only wag our tongues— someone says, "Rama Rama" someone says, "Krishna Krishna" Only tongue has moved— this is not called remembering This is deep talk, understand it attentively While doing mantra continuously, the moment where the mind by becoming one-pointed dives into the state of meditation, this is called Simran— Remembrance of the Lord People are unable to do mantra through tongue as well How will they do it in mind? So our eyes always want to see something, ears wish to listen to something Tongue wants to say something; eat something Step No.1: Krishna says, "Restrain the senses" Don't give any food to your senses For some time neither see anything through eyes nor hear anything through ears Nor want to eat anything through tongue Okay you sat closing down everything, but Raso pyasya But this mind which is there.. See, we haven't accepted any objects Removed everything from mind or only distanced them from the senses? Understand it this way: Sometimes many people fast That today is Ekadashi, so we won't eat anything They don't eat, but keep remembering about eating in mind If some food comes home She says, "I have fast today, keep it for now; I'll eat tomorrow" The food was kept in the refrigerator Her attention is going there Will eat tomorrow; Will eat tomorrow; Will eat tomorrow This is not keeping Vrata(fasting) I remember once I was staying at someone's place It was 10 pm by the time we reached back And while getting the bed ready, it clocked 11— it was very late So his wife was talking She said, "Only an hour is left" As soon as it strikes 12, I will eat Halwa(Sweet dish) She said, "I have been watching since morning, everyone ate, only I haven't" She says, "Only one hour is left, I will remain awake for one hour" As soon as it strikes 12, there itself... Let me say you one thing, if we go as per Vedic ritual So Upawas (fasting) is observed from Sun rise to the next sun rise Means when sun arises then the fast will begin And until sun doesn't rise in the next day If your vrat(fast) didn't run till then, your vrat isn't completed Here they start in the morning, at 12 in the night they say, the new day has begun Brother, the new day has begun but for the English people When do the indigenous date changes? Upon sunrise So if he keeps remembering food and drink Even though he has not eaten from the tongue but kept remembering it through mid, so this isn't called going food-free What do they say, "One: restrain your senses" "Two: The attention, the zest that remains for food, drinks, enjoyment Stop this desire Ras means the Vasana that gets attached To eat repeatedly To wander repeatedly, to see something repeatedly To speak repeatedly This desire that arises, he said, "Bring it under restrain" Means, you sit closing eyes There is no desire in mind for objects So where will your mind wander? Where will it go? Then it won't go anywhere Are you getting it? A woman kept a vrat to remain silent Her master said, "Observe vrat of silence for a day; Don't utter anything from the tongue" So now disciple was true, she said, "Since Guruji has said, so now I'll remain silent for sure" Some relatives came home, everyone is talking; Poor she! So tough for her. Mouth is closed, she is not saying anything, why? Because she has observed the vrat of silence In the mean time, her aunt's daughter came, she says Sister Sheela, when are you going to break the silence, she says, "Will open in the morning itself" Silence is broken! Everyone said, "Oh your silence got broken" She said, "Since it's broken, then let me speak now" This is dishonesty Niraharasya Rasvarjam The desire (for the objects) should be lost One said, "I don't drink alcohol anymore— have left it" "Now I don't drink alcohol anymore, I have left it" "Only when the friends drink, I sit and watch" So if you are sitting and seeing them Then you are drinking only, my brother Why are you looking anyways? Just by seeing again and again, you have drunken through eyes There is yearning for the objects in the mind Gurbani says, "Ae Rasna, tu ana ras raach rahi; teri pyaas na jaaye" Oh Rasna (tongue)! how many indulgences you have enjoyed, and yet you felt hungry again Will eat more; will indulge more So our mind If it become free from the desires of objects Then your mind will be stilled and established inside And then what will happen? "Ras varjam"- If the desires aren't gone then you won't get stilled And if the rasas drop on their own 'Param drishtva asya' Then you will experience the essence of Lord 'Asya Rasaha Api Nivartate' Who is steady in himself The One who is established in the Self His desires for the Samsara are relinquished as the intellect that once relished the indulgences of the world ceases to be This is the explanation being done Of sant, of a realised being established in Self, who is He? The one left with no essence in the world Okay, if there is essence (attraction for the world) in mind So only the samsara will be remembered Then the Lord is not going to be in your remembrance In our mind, there shouldn't be any attraction Now there are two things: either attraction of world doesn't remain Then mind will get connected to the Lord Let me give another meaning to it and that is That if by the blessings, closeness, accompaniment of a sage, the mind gets established inside Then the attractions of the world will vanish on its own That's why, great glory is sung about Satsang, and staying in the proximity of Mahatmas Why? They say, "That love isn't in me" 'But within whom that love is' 'May I sit with him' 'When he will light the flame' 'Perhaps by sitting His glory, my flame will also get lit' You have learnt these bad things from the bad accompaniment of others You saw someone drinking alcohol, you also started drinking Saw someone taking drugs, you started as well You saw someone playing cards Saw playing queen-king, you started playing This is also the effect of company Keep company of people who meditate You keep the company of Lord loving people You keep the company of people singing glories of the Lord What will happen? You will also start singing And something happens Let me reiterate, something happens being in the proximity of sages Which can't be explained, but something happens! Some blessings, some vibrations are such That they are connected, we also get connected That's why whenever you feel from heart that 'No, I have to walk on the path of Ishwar Sadhana' Then don't get out in the search Lord Get out in the search of a lover Because if you sit with some lover of the Lord then within you that feeling of love That feeling of doing spiritual practice That feeling of getting up in the morning That desire of doing Naam Jaap(Chanting) will come on its own Now if all your friends are drunkard, so will you be This is the effect of our company I remember a very beautiful poem of Kabir Ji; Kabir Ji used to say- Very beautiful, he wrote amazingly Written or said, whatever it be Chandan ke sang tarvar bigreo Chandan ke sang tarvar Bigreo So tarvar chandan hoye nivreo Ganga ke sang sarita bigdi So sarita Ganga hoye nivari Sant-e-sang Kabira Bigdeo So Kabir Rama hoye Nibideyo There was an ordinary tree near Sandalwood tree So while keeping the company of Sandalwood, it becomes Sandalwood This is absolutely true If you get opportunity to visit Karnataka ever See for yourself by going into those forest of Sandalwood The Sandalwood stick that you have is not original Sandalwood These are from those trees which are planted next to Sandalwood tree With its fragrance, they also become aromatic Ganga ke sang sarita bigri And where Ganga flows, in that way there are many small streams so many small rivers that are flowing Where all of them converge and meet at the Ganges Their name also became Ganges only Until it isn't met, it is a mountain river It's stream and the moment it meets Ganges, it also became Ganges
