परमात्मा हम से दूर नहीं l AV Epi 1964 l Daily Satsang l 6th July 2023 l Anandmurti Gurumaa

The One that is all-pervasive is never separate from you so you can never be separate from that The One that is present in every kala (time), It's not separate from you at any time so you can never be separate from that The One that is present in every object, tell me how can that be separate from you? So, you cannot say that Paramatman is separate from you or far away from you The only problem is - This is beautifully explained in Vichar Sagar (a Vedanta scripture) 'kar ko kankan khoyo, aisa bhram bhayo jehen - gyan ke milat im prapt prapti janiye' This is very rustic Hindi, I will explain it They say that if somebody, some lady was wearing a bangle A bangle...and she was wearing a long sleeve blouse And somehow that bangle moved in; it might be loose so it just moved in and she saw her wrist You know...."oh my bangle is lost" "Huh! My bangle is lost" And she said, "Who stole? Who stole? You stole - you look like a thief" "You were always eyeing my bangle - you took it" So, she is accusing everybody And while she was accusing, she started crying and she started... You know Beating herself And when she was raising her arms up and then bringing down, in this... In this process, her long sleeve went backward and her bangle became visible And then the husband gave her a tight slap, "You stupid! You are wearing it" The bangle that was in her hand and it got lost If someone thinks so... Where would they go to look for it? Tell me It came under the long sleeve and when the long sleeve was pulled back a little bit, the bangle became visible So, this is called - "kar ko kankan khoyo" When you lost the bangle which you were wearing in your wrist What a stupid statement! 'kar ko kankan khoyo, aisa bhram bhayo' - bhram means it's a doubt that you have lost it 'gyan ke milat im' - when somebody pointed out, gave you the knowledge that you are wearing it It just went inside your long sleeve So pull the sleeve up, the bangle is there And that bangle cannot be called - "Oh, I found it!" When did you lose it? You never lost it Hence, you never found it So, Paramatman...God is not lost Just the realization is missing And you think we have lost God, we have to find God - OK! OK! So You need to... Ahh...remove the, move the sleeve of your mind little away And Voila! Lord it there! What's the shape and form? None! One that has no name and no form is called 'Paramatman' And That is within you The practice that you were taught to do today All of you sat for nearly 45 minutes I took a little liberty and extended the time of your sitting....still So, morning was roundabout 26 minutes And now I have taken into almost, almost 50 minutes Could you feel that 50 minutes have gone? My bhajan came after that, not before that When mind thinks then the time comes When mind is silent, time just... Gone That's why, we say that when your mind is thinking and reflecting and getting stressed Then it runs around a lot And then time causes you a lot of misery The passing of time causes misery Like if someone is in suffering, then it becomes very difficult to pass that time Imagine if you have to spend the night with a dead body You won't be able to pass that time If you have to stand outside an ICU with a relative They are sick inside, will that time pass? Every second becomes difficult (to pass) But in happiness and joy, you don't even know where the time went? And when you sit down like this for your practice You sat down with a mantra, sat down with OM Then tell me, do you know where that time went? Because your bodies are not well trained You have not learned proper Yoga Asanas You are not practicing it everyday Hence, I have to see that I don't make you sit for too long Because then you will forget everything and the memory of pain would be there Sometimes I ask people, "How was the session?" Like I would like to know Sunny, how was your session now? Abhishek Very good Did you realize that 45 minutes had passed? Paul, how was it? One lady is gesturing like this When we think about samsara, this world consisting of names and forms Then at different times happiness, unhappiness, joy and suffering happens in the mind But when we discipline the mind with a mantra Then the mind comes out of this misery, pain and confusion Because the mind itself becomes silent And when the mind goes silent Ahh... Then you are blissed out Why? Dhruv Right now, A few of our dear people said that they wanted to listen to this bhajan I said, "OK, I will sing that for you" And right now it's appropriate because the lyrics are - 'Tere Naam Di Mae Peevan'- 'May I drink the divine wine of your Eternal name 'Mae' means wine May I drink the Divine wine of your Eternal Name May I be in bliss drinking this wine and expend living in your Divine remembrance Lord, I wish I am drinking the wine of your remembrance And I am drinking it and I am living into it and I am enjoying this every moment of Yours Dhyana brings you, the Meditation brings you to that point where the mind is drinking this Divine wine And enjoying every moment And you actually celebrate your life with that The bruises and the injuries which the world gives you The balm comes in the form of meditation So, when you do your breathing properly, when you sit properly When you use the Mantra And you know so many of us sitting here And we are all resonating with that... I don't know if there is a meter Is there any meter to measure that resonance which was happening at that time? I really wish there is a scientist, they should make this... To record what was the energy at that time It's just the one who is drinking knows it; the taste of this Divine ambrosial nectar The one who hasn't drunk it, won't know it And the one who gets to savour this nectar, this ambrosial nectar of Atman- the true Self, this nectar of Lord Rama's Eternal Name - Then the joy doesn't come in that person's life but now he can create his own happiness and bliss Peace doesn't come, he creates his own peace So, I wish you to be the creator of the peace I wish you to be the creator of your joy- pure joy, unadulterated joy So when you sit down, you are the creator You are the creator May I drink the Divine wine of your Eternal Name May I be in bliss drinking this wine and expend living in your Divine remembrance May I be in bliss drinking this wine and expend living in your Divine remembrance It's the season bearing clouds The drops of ambrosial nectar are falling; it's the season of Divine grace Listen to the yearning of my heart, O dear friend I saw Lord in my Guru, so I bowed down Moon is peeking through the clouds My life was just dragging along, you have taught me how to live In Your love and devotion We are bearing the pangs of separation and wondering when we will get to have your Divine sighting? We have kept all memories of Yours with great care Bereft of your Darshan, our eyes cry out in pain There is no peacock in the gardens We have searched the entire world but there is no one like Satguru - The True Master! What we see is just a dream Don't take it to be real my beloved! This entire samsara is just an illusion I oblate my Self to my revered True Master As He has held onto my arm, my life has become immensely joyous May I drink the Divine wine of your Eternal Name May I be blissed out drinking this wine of love and expend living in your Divine remembrance!
