अमृतबिंदु उपनिषद् - अमरत्व की एक बूँद lAV Ep 1588 l Daily Satsang l 26th June 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

OM Guru is Brahma (the Creator), Guru is Vishnu (the Sustainer), Gurudeva is Maheshwara (Lord Shiva-the Destroyer), Guru is verily the Parambrahma (Supreme Consciousness); Salutations to that Guru. Whose Form is the Whole Indivisible Physical Manifestation (Universe), Who Pervades All Movable and Immovable Things, For Revealing That Feet (of Indivisible Presence); Salutations to that Guru. OM- Shanti Shanti Shanti Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru. Gurudeva Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Gurudeva Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Gurudeva.......(chanting) Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Salutations to Thee, Revered Guru Let us now enter Amrit Bindu Upanishad "Yato Nirvishayasyasya Manaso Muktirishyate Ato Nirvishiyam Nityam Manah Karyam Mumukshuna" When you'll make your mind free of worldly objects then, at the plane of your mind, you will attain liberation. It has been revealed in the earlier Shloka- Manev Manushyanam Karanam Bandhomokshaya The mind is the cause of your bondage and liberation. So where there is ignorance, there will also be knowledge; where there is bondage, liberation will be there only. It is blatant foolishness on your part when you say that you are in bondage. Truth is that 'you' were never in bondage, 'you' are not in bondage, and 'you' can never be in bondage. The sky can never be in bondage, The sky never changes; the colors of the clouds keep changing. Sometimes the clouds are black, sometimes...very white, sometimes small, sometimes big The clouds keep changing but in the space where these clouds are, that space never changes. Don't mistake the clouds for the space. Aakash means that which has given space. Aakash There's a very good word in English...Space Space! Space means emptiness. So, in emptiness the clouds come and go, the sky...what you think is actually happening in the Space. And Space is pure and untouchable. Clouds come and go, colors of sky change Space never changes; so are 'you' like Space. The mind can be unenlightened and filled with darkness, greed etc. etc. But the mind which is happening in the pure Self, that pure Self remains virgin, unattached, absolutely clean and absolutely pure. Mind is not 'you'. Mind is different from 'you'. The mind is not 'you'. The mind is separate from 'you'. The mind is in 'you'. The mind has colors, not 'yours'. The mind can be greedy-angry, not 'you'. The mind can be lustful, not 'you'. The mind can be aversive, not 'you'. The mind can be attached, not 'you'. 'You' are eternally pure, unattached, liberated. And it is your foolishness that you think the mind is 'you'. You assume that you are the mind. And because you think that this mind is 'you', so every color of the mind seems like 'your' color. Understand it like this- A red coloured horse was galloping. A child saw this and remarked, "Look ! Red colour is running". So is the red color running or the horse is running? But the child's mind cannot understand the difference, and so he insists that red color is running. So 'red' and 'horse' become one and the same thing. This superimposition is called 'Adhyasa' in Vedanta language. 'Adhyasa'- understand this term properly as it will be used many times. When two things get mixed up and you create a third thing out of that which is illusionary, which is imaginative- it's called 'Adhayasa' Mind and Self....have been taken to be as one and that has created all the confusions that I am in bondage, I am unhappy O, I am so scared; O, I will die, what will happen to me etc. These all events are happening in the mind, not in the true Self. All this is happening in the mind. Look at the foolishness of Man- Ah..the mind which is deluded, the mind which is full of 'adhayasa' the mind which has made your life hell you don't make any efforts to sort out that mind. If you have depression, take antidepressants if you feel anxiety, go to a doctor and take a pill. Truth is that those who are taking such pills, it is a certainty they do not have a Guru in their life and even if there is a Guru, then that Guru is no good, that Guru is total nonsense. What is the use of a Guru who cannot remove the delusion of the mind. Across the world, the nonsense going on in the name of a Guru is that Guruji gives a 'Naam'- a mantra to chant. All they do is give Naam only? They do not give knowledge or wisdom? they do not remove any delusions? they just give some mantra. These Gurus have also set up businesses giving away 'Naam' assuring people that they will certainly go to heaven after death; will be taken to the Lord's abode Man is ignorant- he does not know but this not-knowing of his can become extremely dangerous. An acquaintance once did a very strange thing. He was on a journey People used to fill drinking water in plastic cans as it was easy to carry At that time they did not have these so-called modern amenities Big flasks, big coolers were not available in olden times. So he filled water in a plastic can And...as it was a long journey, and his business was such that turpentine oil was required so in one can there was turpentine oil. When he felt thirsty, he opened the lid of a can and gulped it quickly He accidentally consumed the turpentine oil. You will think and say how is that possible? Look at yourself, you are doing the same thing. You are not the mind but you believe that is you; You are not the body but you think that is you. Look at your faces then? What you have turned into? I feel so scared, I am so scared, so scared, so scared, so scared. A Mahatma I know was saying, that.... He stayed for a long time in the Himalayas There were not many roads at the time He would scale mountains when he had to go somewhere- from peak to peak. And he did not have any climbing gear or climbing shoes with spikes He used to wear just a loincloth, and his Guruji was 'avadhuta' so did not wear even a loincloth See, where they were living in the jungle above 14000 feet, who was there to see whether they were naked or wearing designer clothes? So he used to live avadhuta- he was an ascetic, a yogi. So he went from peak to peak...from Badrinath to Kedarnath there were no roads, there were only narrow tracks... He did not choose that...he went from peak to peak. He could reach in one day. He told us that several times it so happened, that he had to descend a mountain slope with snow on it. Walking would take a lot of time, so what he did was... umm...He took big leaves of the Bhojapatra tree, joined four of these big leaves, and sat on this leaf sledge, chanted Jai Siya Ram, and pushed himself down the slope. He said, it felt like he was flying.
