But the hatred which she had for her mother That my mother is just concerned about her own happiness that her own home shouldn't break up That's why she doesn't want to consider to her daughter's complaint even after listening to it Another case There is an orphanage near our Ashram, an orphanage for girls There I met two girls, both are sisters So their story is this their father died Mother said that I'll remarry But this new man said that I'll not accept your daughters So she left both her daughters And got married herself and went with her new husband Their maternal grandparents and uncles said when their mother is not ready to take their responsibility Then why should we take? They brought these two daughters and left them in the orphanage Now both these girls are growing up in the same orphanage They are studying there, they say that we hate our mother and we are ready to be called orphans We don't want to ever tell anybody that our mother is alive Because she has nothing to do with us, can you believe? These kind of stories are so rampant In every society you will find these kinds of incidents happening Where children hate their father or their mother Now this hatred which is there This will become the reason And will become the cause of future events So if something is happening today It's past links are there, some links are old In case of Tulsi Mother's death, father's abandonment How beneficial it was for them Otherwise how would we know, we wouldn't even know whether a person with this name was born or Such a person ever lived - how do we know? But this difficult life gave him devotion for Ram Made him a saint Made him a Mahatma Made him a great poet and he wrote and such a wonderful scripture So some things happen in our life like For which we don't have any answers But at that time only this much should be understood Surely this must be a game of karma and not necessarily Bad situations are not meant every time as a punishment Sometimes bad situations are for good Something good can come from bad situations and it surely comes So why did it happen, it's hard to answer why because Everybody has old accounts Which karmas are there in those old accounts To enjoy the fruits of these karmas Our relationships are formed And sometimes they even break And truth is this: we are all alone in this journey Even if your whole family is with you But the truth is this we are all alone in this life journey and we have to experience things Good, bad Beautiful, very ugly, traumatic But all this experiences would finally can lead us To seek what truth is What this samsara (world) is? What God is? These higher questions Will be asked by only a tormented mind So I believe Sorrow, misery, pain Can break us and these can also connect us with Lord Right? So don't see misery as all bad, no no no.. There's nothing which is all bad There is a lot of good in the bad and sometimes there is a lot of bad in the good too I will tell you another story Someone won a lottery of Rs 50 lakh in U.P. Many people play lottery here also So someone won Rs 50 lakhs, he lived in a village Now the news had come in the whole state, it comes in the newspapers, the photo came Name of the person was published Press and TV media came, "how are you feeling after winning 50 lakhs?" People are playing bands, dancing, singing, being happy He was giving an interview, this person who no one knew earlier When they went to sleep after playing music at night, someone is knocking at the door Now who came at 3 am at night? When they opened the door, robbers were there They came in proper film style, sitting on a horse with a gun And they said bring that money which you have received He said, "I haven't received the money hasn't received yet" so they started beating up, kidnapped his father, younger brother and all And told tell him "when you get the money, bring it to us" "To take the family back" - the whole family was kidnapped, no tell me whether winning a lottery of 10 lakhs good or bad? You tell me - is it good or bad? It was very bad A bad thing happened so there can be bad in good and good in bad Situations and how we deal with that - that changes everything Very bad situation can happen but if you are positive Then you won't be in trouble If there's a great situation, you can even complaint in that "why is this happening?" There was a wedding at someone's place, they were Marwadi So the food which they offered in their daughter's wedding They had almost five hundred items of food Five hundred items of food, at least ten types of cuisines It was laid and such a huge tent was erected for this food The wedding party came and they started eating So the father of the groom says "You say everything is there, where is it?" He said, "no what do you think are we poor people? We like it, why you haven't kept it?" and they got angry They are not interested in the 500 food items but wanted a popsicle I fight broke over the popsicle The marriage broke up, he went back with the wedding party - and said "keep your 500 things, I won't eat" Now is this good or bad? Tell me I was bad, listen to what happened next... A friend of the girl had come to the wedding whose husband was an IAS officer and when he saw all this, he felt very bad and as the wedding party left He said, "don't worry, I'll marry her" She was about to marry an ugly dark man Now she got married to an IAS officer in Lucknow who was posted as a very high post and She gets married to a highly profile, very well educated, very handsome man - He called his parents and said "You reach as soon as possible", new time was set and within 24 hours she got married So she said, "It's good that they left otherwise - I would have been cooking for them my whole life in that family" "I would only be cooking my entire life" "Now the husband which I have got, is an IAS officer and he has promised me that in next competitive exams - And he is permitting to me, I am also going to apply and my dream is going to come true - and I also want to become a gazetted government official" So was it bad or good that the previous wedding party left, now tell me..? Don't be in a rush to say, this is bad This is good.. this is bad This is good, from good there is some bad; In bad, there's some good So when something bad happens - Breathe and wait and when something good happens - Breathe and Wait And whatever happens, it will be at the end, It will be good, it cannot be bad Provided your mind is Concentrated on the name of Lord, on remembrance of Lord If we do Sumiran (remembrance of Lord) If we do bhajan If we keep our mind connected with the Lord Then whatever situations we might be in Whether it's good or bad, happy or sad, birth or death We can remain aloof, peaceful and balanced Not frustrated, not depressed, not agitated But calm and relaxed And that is the beauty of doing chanting everyday Now I recite this hymn of Swami Brahmanand Ji He says, "Oh my mind, chant the name of Hari now" He is saying to his mind Not saying to anybody, saying to his own mind Chant Lord's name.. be in remembrance of Lord Oh my mind - chant the name of Lord now Chant the name of Lord now Oh my mind - chant the name of Lord now Being born as 84,00,000 different life forms, you still didn't find any respite Oh my mind - chant the name of Lord now Forced by your karma, you wander aimlessly in heaven and hell Getting the human body is very rare and it can be a door to your liberation Chant the name of Lord now Oh my mind - chant the name of Lord now
