[Music] [Music] la [Music] Similarly on the mind of a practitioner, a disciple, a seeker There should no veil of deceit, lies, hatred and ego Mind should be pure like that of a child Thats why in our country, a child a considered the form of Bhagwan Why? Because he is free of impurities, there are no attachments, aversions and ego in his mind There is no mine and thine in his mind That's why the shine which you see in a child's eyes cannot be seen in an old person So, the disciple's mind, one who wants to be a disciple - his mind should be free of impurities It should be full of love and devotion And the Guru must be capable, well-versed in scriptures and established in the Absolute Reality And when this meeting happens With complete ease Ease, ease, ease...with complete ease He attains all those experiences which even those doing Yog for years don't have Those doing mantra chanting for years don't experience it Doing to various pilgrimages for years, one doesn't attain it And it happens merely by one darshan of the Guru Let me say it again Guru must be well-versed in scriptures and established in Absolute Reality He shouldn't just have a Guru-label He shouldn't be someone who claims to do miracles He must be gyani (one who has realized the Absolute Truth) Guru He must be a gyani Guru He must have realized the True Self and the Absolute Reality And the disciple must have a keen interest in walking this path of spirituality Then this is a very unique bond that forms, very unique bond All the difficulties then become easy It's extremely important Ahh... Once Guru Angad Dev Ji was asked this question that You have lived with Guru Nanak Sahib for a very short time Then how were you chosen to sit on the Guru's seat? What quality did you have? So he answered - I had no quality I just came to him completely blank He is the one who colored me He is the one who gave me this form He made my mind attain everything My Guru took me to the destinations of gyana (eternal wisdom) and love So, I didn't do anything, I just surrendered to him completely blank My Gurudev gave me everything else I had no quality, he gave it to me He gave it to me He put this in me This is something to think about For years, a person does austerities and chanting but the destination is still far away And here, just one meeting happens And one accomplishes the goal What can be more beautiful than this? That's why this is said in the Sikh religion That Guru Nanak placed his light in Guru Angad Dev So the bodies might be different but he was Guru Nanak That's why after Guru Nanak, nine Gurus sat on his seat The body of every Guru was different But they were seen as a form of Guru Nanak It is said that Guru Nanak's light is in them now Now it came in this person, in this person or in this person That's why the teachings of six Gurus, their creations In the end of every creation they don't say - thus says Ram Das or thus says Arjan or thus says Amardas Not at all Every time they say - kahe Nanak...Nanak is speaking, not me Nanak is saying That's why the forms are different but they say it's the same swaroopa (Real Self) It's the same, He alone is speaking You can't find such an example in the entire world even if you look Others become Guru after the Guru and the lineage goes on But the next seat is known by the new Guru's name That now so and so is the Guru or so and so is the Guru... But what happens here....whoever takes he seat He is seen as form of Guru Nanak that this is Him He is speaking He is singing, he is giving darshan and no one else So this is an amazing experience And those who are extremely fortunate receive it Because you don't get this upon asking, you can command or demand That I should get this, I should have this experience Only Ishwara knows what happens that such a beautiful quality is created It is so beautiful, he creates such beautiful void within himself He creates so much emptiness That Guru has to enter into it Guru's radiance, Guru's gyana and Guru's energy That starts appearing in him That's why - are you speaking? He says - No, I am not speaking but my Guru is speaking I am not giving any teaching, my Guru is the one who is teaching If you see the body, it is different But if you see the swaroopa, there is no difference Can we say the lakshana is actually self realization uh we can say that that umm See the the unity or the Oneness is not um imposed or created Actually we have created the walls and the barriers that those are manmade those are human made When you say I and you, then the difference is of body, is of mind, is of intellect  But if you peel off these three layers then deep down there's just one Absolute Reality I have to use the word one but just to defy The Duality I have to say it one but otherwise I can only say 'Advait' There is absolute non-dual existence, absolute non du existence I can like give example that  um we are all sitting on say the ground and on the surface there are differences there's some  trees, people, humans, animal sitting but if you dig down then then down uh and beneath the surface  there is water so it's the same water there might be some disparities in like this particular uh area geographically and maybe 100 km away from here the water might bit different but let me let  me take example and know I can't take example even of air because at the moment some of the leading  cities of um Bharat are really polluted because of this you know no rains have happened  and the vehicle emissions and construction and all these reasons are are there which is  polluting the air so but if you move uh like up north in the Himalayas in the mountains oh it's  beautiful quality of air so there is disparity in the air quality here and in the mountains  or in the some remote areas it it's still very beautifully nice and clear the 2.5 PM is very less in these areas so I'll have to skip the the water the air example and I have to go  into the zone of Akasha the space so space here in Rishi Asham or space in New York or space in  um Timbaktu our space in the moon or saturn or mars or whatever Planet the space remains same undivided unpolluted, beautifully unpolluted, virgin, untouched and in that virgin space all these  planets and the galaxies are functioning so if we see the planet then we can say the  differences are there but if you go into the space then there is no difference for  space the word in in Hindi and Sanskrit is Akasha - Akasha which gives space is called  Akasha so the Akasha remains the undivided, unpolluted, unobstructed no barriers no no peripheries - now use this example of a Akasha and now  try to understand when I say there's a non dual absolute reality base of even the akasha, foundation of even the akasha and  all the other four elements meaning the air, the wind, the fire, water, the Earth so Atman is undivided - no barriers infinitum - in that the existence of different name and forms of  the different bodies are there but if you peel off the the frame of the  name and form of object then what is left behind is that undivided absolute Parabrahman reality so me you they these are just divisions created by the  mind and experienced by the mind in the existence there is no you me or they or it so as the boundaries begin to dissolve it's like see in the on the surface of ocean there are  millions of bubbles, millions of waves, millions and millions of foams which get created but in  every form there is just water so if you see the shape and form of the bubble, the wave, the foam  you will say there are too many differences but if you go into the the substratum of the bubble  of the wave, of the foam then you will say it's just water - so water has become bubble water has become  a wave, water has become the foam, water has taken all those millions of different shapes and sizes  and bubbles are um getting shape and then in a second or so they just burst then there is  just water and then another bubble is formed and then that gets burst and so on so forth  so if you are focused on the form then there are too many differences but if you are focused onto  the water there are no differences so that's what the case if you look at the form of the  body and mind then there are people then there someone is a disciple and someone is a Guru but  if you peel off this name and form then there is just one non dualistic existence - there is no Guru and no disciple And I challenge you that you go and and look into all the religious text of all all the religions  and cults and whatnot you will not find anything close to this highest knowledge what the Vedanta is giving There is no Guru and no disciple - I am the Ever-Conscious Existence, I am Shiva Now when we say - I am the Ever-Conscious Existence, I am Shiva - so some might say okay there is a Shiv and this is Hum, hum means me so I am Shiva now see this is again a duality Me and Shiva are one - there is no need to say that like someone said the bubble and the water is one actually there is no bubble there is only water so the so-called I which you have created pertaining with the body-mind packet that is actually illusionary just 50-50 years ago there was no Bipula no one was there and then maybe after few years again this body will end but the is-ness was there, is there, will be there so name and form are temporal but the existence is eternal, immortal, no change so the question is - where are you standing? in body mind, then the differences are huge if you are established in your own true self, in that there is no you there is no me so all the barriers just dissolve there isn't any difference left now the... you ask this please guide me how to remain in this state as it seems little harder to keep that awareness when you are not around you see you are laying this uh condition you say that this experience came that that the mind dissolved in the bliss, nothing else mattered and when you smiled and talked to anybody I was there inside that person receiving your love now see here again you have created the duality there was a person in that person it was you and I was giving the grace and you were receiving the grace so it's still not the the barriers are still there That that can't be called the Absolute Experience As such all experiences will come and go - so no experience you know all those people  who wish to hold onto an experience for eternity they are not um being just because the the mind  is an ever fleeting uh thing it can't be in one state all the time so there are beautiful stages  which might come and then it will wither away then something else then it will go away then something  else then it will go away it just because if everything remains permanent in the mind then the  mind has to be permanent itself and mind is not permanent mind in itself is a fleeting, changing reality so this uh is a wishful thinking it's like asking that the body should always live  and if it if it always lives then this body is not mortal, then this body becomes immortal
