Security is taken care of that if your hand slips so the security belt that you have, it will hold you. But if this type of any adrenaline rush, where you get do such things, have to climb mountains, have to do bungee jumping or have to do rafting, white water rafting, many things are there which you can do, but if you are getting this adrenaline rush by breaking red signal, then you are fool without taking license, often children ride vehicles How many among you ride, who don't have license now? see, now I am asking you, Is it fair on you? Is it fair on part of others who are driving on the road? you know driving, very good thing but you take license, you give test somewhere somewhere you..license means 'I am a responsible citizen' and I respect my life and of the ones in front of me and I will save them a few days back, a case has been filed in Delhi... a 14 years old boy was driving His family was there in his car, the car in front has whole family and these two cars bumped and he died himself, whole family was killed everyone in the front car died, nine people died two injured, what was obtained? Many times irresponsible, carelessness on the part of parents that they allow their teenager their kids who don't have the license, who don't have the experience take the vehicle and go on the road I think that they really hate you or they really hate themselves that they are ready to sacrifice you. You may get killed, you may kill others you killed others, you were caught, case will be on you you may be young, may be small still there are juvenile courts there are correction homes of children where they are then kept away from their family and there would be such children who are pickpockets who have done crimes, who have raped in that younger age young age, even before 18. They will put among such people so carelessness can be very costly. Cheap thrills are no good cheap thrills can be very expensive and your freedom would be snatched from you this won't be a good thing. That's why if parents are not understanding then I am expecting from you that at least you will take care of this thing your life is very valuable, nothing compares with the importance of life ...can't pay its value... so know your life is costly, similarly know others' life is also precious and your own life should be lived with great responsibilities so feeling of that responsibility, when you go to school so at that time you should have this thought that how fortunate you are that you have set of parents who earn money and who are spending money on you see I run a program called Shakti, how many of you are aware of this? Good...In Shakti program we have given scholarships to almost 6000 girls until now..6000 girls and each girl was given some 10,000-12,000 per year. Why? Because they don't have father or their father is handicapped they are unable to pursue their studies and they have no one to help them so here we are to help them out and they receive the scholarships they are finishing up their studies. But can you really understand or feel what these girls might be feeling that they are taking this money from a Guru? people normally go and contribute and gift money to Guru. They don't go to Guru to get money from the Guru. Right? they go to the Guru to serve the Guru and here they are in such a difficult position that they have to take money from the Guru. Although I always say it is not my money I am just a medium in Lord's hand. Money came from good heart good smart people and I am just giving it away to those needy girls. But yet Just feel, Just imagine what these girls might be feeling? and here you are fortunate enough that you have a father, you have a mother, a biological father and mother who love you, who take care of you, who buy good things for you how can you be so dishonest that you don't do justice to your studies that you don't do justice to your education and this education is the biggest weapon which any human being should have this is a kind of an asset, this is something which empowers you your education gives you much help to understand life around you whatever is happening in your life, whatever has happened what can happen, it makes us awakened towards it so the attitude that we have towards education, that should be very good although my this program is for girls but sometimes boys' application also comes to me and they say," I want to study, I am very good at studies." and send their certificates but my parents don't have the capacity to make me study further I also need help, I also want to study further sometimes we give to such boys also, however the program is for girls but still, I take such boys also... that within whom, there is such earnest desire to study such emotion is there, there help must be done definitely we should have little feeling of this that whatever we are getting it's a big thing, we never value we feel that it should be done, this is parents' duty and they are doing, what's the big thing? but I know such parents also such fathers are there who are drunkards, all money they spend in their debauchery, I know such children also whose father kept relationship with another woman other than his wife and he spends all money there and there is nothing left to give to his own children, poor children are longing and to save this false respect of the society they keep on tolerating that pain silently and unable to say anything to anyone that how much worries they have, how much problems they have life is not easy, life is very difficult and sometimes we can get these problems because of our family members and I say at least you don't create problems for your family members you always have this feeling that whatever you are getting that is god's grace, you have good karma and keep doing good karmas today also so tomorrow also you will be getting sometimes in whose lives hard situations come so for such children we should have immense mercy in our heart, immense compassion should be there I am saying another little thing on this regard, when you have your birthdays what you do do that day? Party? what else? That's it. Eat food...do party... go to watch movie...good...and interesting.... what do you do? where do you do donations? son will you speak little loudly.. going to Gurudwara...very good thing..very good thing Now I want to give you a suggestion... in your city there would definitely be orphanages, do you know even that it's there If if you haven't gone ever may be....exactly at the back side (of the ashram) a Swami is there Swami Jyotirmayananda, his disciples have opened an orphanage here in back only there only girls are present probably 50-55 girls are there... may be... before leaving, once go there, if in your city it's there then go there and sometimes sit and talk with those children and ask them what they think? what do they feel? How much pain no one is in life whom they can say their own a warden is there, a teacher is there, a manager is there and with the money donated by people clothes are there, chappati is there, bed is there nothing is of their own, how much desperation is there? how much helplessness, powerlessness is there in them now when your birthday comes you have given party to friends every time you have eaten good food, you have gone to good restaurants but this time, this good food you do at those orphanage, make for them balloons, banners, decorations whatever..do there invite your friends there also that, "today ... the happiness of my birthday want to share with those children who on their birthdays have neither mother nor father to give them wishes let me say the truth, the day you will celebrate your birthday like this going there the pleasure that you will feel that day that can't be possible in any other day they say mosque is far from home so let's make a crying child smile it is far... God's home..that mosque is far Gurudwara is far, that temple is far so instead of going there and praying take a look around you, someone is helpless, sad, crying and specially if a child is there then go to him, make him smile make him happy, wipe his tears there can't be a better way to pray to the Lord than this... so the attitude that you have for school the attitude that you have for education, give little attention to it I am able to say this to you today and expect you to understand this thing really you are very virtuous you are very fortunate that you have got such good parents who not only take good care of you but also they for your mental, intellectual, spiritual development have sent you so far here to ashram this is the symbol of their good emotions this is the symbol of their good thought this is how much love they have for you that they are sending you. Once to me from Gurudaspur two boys had come. When their mother met me she said, "I am from poor family, I don't have enough money so my.. wish was there that I should send my children But then I thought that money is not there how would I do? but anyhow I arranged and sent my sons to you to shivir she said when they have returned from there who were not waking up before 9am now they are waking up at 5am, so we are very shocked at ashram in which plate they ate, they used to clean it they learned this that own works should be done by ourselves, self respect he is intelligent person who never make anyone to take his leftover food neither make anyone eat or pick his leftover food this is the most insolent thing neither make anyone eat or pick his leftover food this is the most insolent thing and at homes usually parents are unable to give this impression to children servants are there so they shout at them,"Do this thing for me, do that thing for me." and it is the servant's job that they will do or else any younger brother or sister so they force him, bully him and got their work done, that is fine. But is it right? it's not right at all. She said after coming back My sons started to work with me at kitchen also if I sweep they say, "No mother, let me do, you sit." I am shocked. Which child after repeated saying was not studying now he is studying properly. His numbers are also coming good so this change which I saw in him that I was happy that I might have faced difficulties for arranging money but whatever my children learnt by going there and have come back looking at this changed behaviour and nature of them I became very happy and I am very thankful to you that your are organizing such program for our children
