Meeting the enlightened master in life Know this as hard such as hard Maybe like an elephant has to go through the eye of the needle Half a billion is our country and in this country how many people will be lucky That he meet any enlightened master see and even do his darshan To be that lucky is also not possible Sadhu can be in thousands or lakhs even can be in Crores Sadhu meaning who is on the path of sadhana and is doing that Lives a wonderful life and is living a Satviki life But in that Crore Sadhus one who attains sainthood is not even quarter of it Now why these crores os sadhus have not became saints? Because either fame will ruin someone, or disciples or money or desires or ego will ruin someone It's tough to come out of your own traps of the mind and this is the biggest trap When you start doing bhajan, or you become a sadhu, not necessary that you dress up as a monk but where you become a monk or you start living a satviki life, people around you will start watching and they say waah ! then someone will start touching your feet, start calling you in their homes or giving dakshina or someone will click picture Someone will stubbornly say make us your disciples When you get so much respect then your intellect gets spoiled Secondly if saved from this trap did not get trapped in this then The more people behind me, the more powerful I am So to experience this power, to many many people Tries to put people behind him with many efforts So of different different religion different rituals and the easiest way for a human being to be on the path is when the person begins to follow certain rituals The one who goes to temple or Gurudwara daily, everybody will says he is religious doing some charity on Saturday or doing langar on Sunday, feast for Brahmins does pilgrimage in Hardiwar or Rishikesh The whole world will begin to say that he is very religious person but we have to remember the ritual is like the kindergarten of this university Kindergarten of this spiritual university I am not saying it is unimportant But in kindergarten you won't go there. When you are in your 30's or 35, do you still go to kindergarten or play school ? But it happens in the religious field People keep on doing that better, more forward or higher further, What else is to be done, they really had no clue at all In all homes there is Bhagwad Gita But it is kept in the Almirah In every home, there are Gutkas of Gurbani someone went and saw the idol or someone went and had darshan of some Sadgranth someone had organised langar in some place and some went and ate that and they assume it as religion but this is like the play school of spirituality But if he starts doing this, only this.. made a temple and they say people come the world comes The limit is... when a Vedanti Mahatma said this that in our ashram We built Shani's temple because people go to Shani's temple a lot and they speak Vedanta and after building up Shani's temple Getting people engaged in that worship because that brings more people Why the do so ? Because the more people, the more power will be You gain power from the followers so I always if Guru is hungry of his own followers then this Guru is more Poor than his own disciples then One who thinks himself powerful with the power of his followers He is completely rejected and useless What is his power then? and worshipper of power, although a monk hungry... of power or fame Someone says money should come and when wealth and fame comes when public comes, males will come and their wives sisters and daughters too comes and then their heart comes Sometimes the womens' hearts long for them or sometimes there is possibility of their hearts longing for them (women) that will happen, why won't ? No one care otherwise... but when one becomes a sadhu then every man & woman is bowing to them then The chances of deep down indulgences and the desires will crop up, remember this person was a sadhu not a siddha on the path of sadhna that's why Sadhus can be in crores but not all can become saints someone in his ego, in indulgences, in power or in money or someone in his fame some with organizational skills You know like Franchisee of Subway or of Burger or Pizza Franchises open up, similarly some of guru's start opening their franchises and they appoint that you are head of this state or district You are head of this state or district or town or a village So everyone's ego trip goes well So everybody is very happy With these kind of Gurus who make you incharge of your town or city So they all go to that ego trip Became a Sadhu, definitively, but where he went after becoming a sadhu? Kabir Sahib says ' Sikha sakha bohatey kiye ' ' Keso kiyo na meet ' ' Sikh sakha bohatey kiye ' ' Keso kiyo naa meet ' ' Chaale the Hari bhajan ko ' ' Biche atkeyo cheet ' ' Chaale the Hari bhajan ko ' ' Biche atkeyo cheet ' Made many disciples, made many branches But did you leave home for this? Left the home to do bhajan... but disciples and branches Branches meaning Franchises Disciples and branch got so indulged in that that mind got stuck in that Mind got stuck in this only became a 'sadhu' but did not have the attributes of a 'sant' Became a Sadhu Whether he will be a sant or not, don't know So, It's easy to find a Sadhu and hard to find sant However, a very beautiful verse comes in Scriptures " Sadhu naam Darshanam Punyam " Great virtue is attained by the darshan of a sage even that is not a small thing But the little difference between a Sadhu and a Sant is that one is one the path (sadhu) and the other has reached (sant) One is in Sadhna (spiritual practice) and the other has become a Siddha (accomplished) one is still in that zone of being fallible mind being impressionable The purva or the past Vasanas might wake up again, that is what a Sadhu is is working but the possibility of going astray is also there But a Saint What do we say? Whose has now no possibility to wander neither there's any possibility to scatter nor any possibility to go astray nor to forget nor indulging in any vaasnas neither getting attracted in any pleasures Neither power nor wealth Neither power nor praise in the world Now nothing affects him at all Why ? Why does this happen? Because, Who is a Sant ? Who has known what the Self is and after realizing the truthfulness of the self, rest whole world is just an illusion So why would I be attracted towards illusion? If I have understood the myth I have understood that it's just a myth then how will knowledgeable, intelligent or the wise person run after the illusory thing ? How will he go ? One who has realized Brahman and Atman One who has experienced that the Soul is Brahman Darshan of such an enlightened master in this life Again I say, it's that hard like an elephant has to go through the eye of the needle that difficult In whole world, on this globe If we count all the people then how many people are there who are living with their small small wishes So how many people will be there who who even know this, that there is some Enlightened being and how many are there who know that why it is necessary to meet such enlightened master ? they don't even know that, Okay if he gets to know then, I make you listen one small talk, today in the morning I have got to know about one of the events from my disciple's life, It's very interesting, you will like it because I liked it A female who come from Madhya Pradesh and she shared her experience that she was married with such man who was very tyrant She was married for a year and kept on tolerating his beating He used to beat a lot He used to get beaten up said, because the family members have told that now he is your everything Live with him, the old thinking continues even today tolerated so much torture she kept on tolerating his beating A situation came that her in-laws told her daughter, you go back to your home otherwise he will kill you So at the behest of in-laws she returned back home and after two three days her husband attempted suicide Now being a widow she is living in her father's house and is crying that now I am a widow my husband is no more, that husband who was an oppressor was the one who used to beat was the one who didn't give any moment of comfort but still crying maybe the family members used to listen me They told her many times that you listen to me (Gurumaa) She said what is that, I am not listening to anybody I have no interest she denied One day all the family members went out somewhere She was alone and watching tv, while surfing the channels that channel came where our discourse was coming but as the discourse came I got off the stage, meaning stood up from my Asana So she was watching and wandering why did they stood up felt very weird because This was in her mind... that I do not listen to Her, why do I listen? the rest of the people in the house used to listen, she knew this much that She sits and speaks, doesn't stand up Said It looked very strange, I was watching and thinking what is happening? said They stood, and birds were inside the cage there taking the birds out of the cage and flying, now this was event in Hyderabad. In satsang Some of our people, don't know, what were they thinking! From the stage you free the pigeons, now this all happened in such a hurry There was no place to say no or yes and I was like First I should free these pigeons thereafter I will ask them that why did you buy them? You are buying that's why somebody is catching, so why did you do that? So stop buying these caged animals or birds now they 5-6 pigeons flew away as I opened the cage, Search that, If we found that old video then we will make you watch Now that one pigeon inside doesn't come outside So I was doing, now see I have never flew pigeons So even I felt weird, I don't even want to touch to them so I was beating the cage from outside Come out, out and moved but that doesn't move So difficult, This woman was watching and strike her that even after the opening of the cage one who doesn't wishes to fly, This is I In bad marriage living with a tyrannical husband she is sitting and crying for him who didn't give her happiness, even then she is crying said, cried so much and was that moment when life changed.
