ऋषि वशिष्ठ एवं श्रीराम का संवाद AV Ep 1278 l Daily Satsang 19th August 21 Anandmurti Gurumaa

Lord Rama bowed down in Salutation to his Master, Guru Vashishtha and his Master with great fondness placed his right hand on Ram ji's head gave blessings then the Master sat down there only and Rama ji too sat near his feet then he asked, Rama what happened? 'why are you sitting, looking downhearted?' 'and' 'for past many days' 'you have not been eating well' 'I have also heard you are not sleeping' 'well either and,' 'that is clearly visible on your face' 'it is clear,' 'you have dark circles under your eyes' 'your face has wilted' 'your face was like a blooming flower' 'and now' 'you are' 'looking very weak too'. 'Rama, speak up, what is there in' 'your mind' when this kind of tenderness, filled with deep compassion and love Vashishtha ji asked Rama about the state of his mind then Rama ji without any hesitation he started to share all that was causing him pain look, in this I wish to make another comment anytime when your Master asks you something keep one thing in mind, remember that even before you tell about the state of your mind, the Master Knows it all, yet they ask you, because when you speak, share what you have to say, then in your talking alone, one fourth of your pain goes away because this feeling that someone is hearing me out, someone cares about me and, someone, this someone is not ordinary, this someone is a mahatma, a sage, a Guru and that Guru is showing such compassion towards me is, asking me then this feeling provides great security gives protection and provides strength to the mind that okay I am being asked, but remember one thing, they may ask but they know it from before but to ask is necessary because only on asking he will be able to talk about the agony and the truth is when you begin to talk, then while you are talking, the mind begins to relax now there is one thing more to understand here if your mind is in pain or sorrow then you must speak after talking one becomes light then say it in front of anyone Oh no! just like that, in front of anyone if you being to talk then they will begin to judge you they may hold malice against you may create a wrong image of you may even make fun of you later, and later they may talk about you to others adding 4 more bad things about you that this person has this weakness, he is bad, she is not a good girl he is not a good boy adding 4 more things on their own this is why we do not know who to share our minds agony with in front of whom to say that too you should keep in mind just like that in front of everyone to talk is stupid it is not a good thing so we should be very wise we should definitely talk if you have a problem, always talk, if you have a problem always ask the solution but ask the solution from a wise person not from a fool, like one who doesn't know himself how will they make you understand if he doesn't know himself he will give you too some wrong advice and acting upon that wrong advice you will end up harming yourself, and added value it will increase the harm, the pain Rama's words, Guru Vashishtha heard very sympathetically and Rama began to say that Gurudev 'I wonder,' 'who am I?' and 'everyday,' 'day after day many leaves' 'become dry and fall off from the trees' 'the leaves', 'the leaves, the flowers' 'the fruits that we feel delighted' 'looking at and feel, oh! this fruit' 'is so far away and' 'how do I get to hold it?' 'how do I pluck it?' 'how do I eat it?, so much of planning' 'we make in our mind' 'and a little storm blows and' 'the ripened fruit falls to the ground' 'and it breaks on falling' 'gets smashed and it no longer' 'remains fit to be eaten by anyone' 'it was such a beautiful fruit' 'when it was on the tree but' 'when it falls down then its state' 'becomes such that not even an animal' 'is now willing to eat it' Rama Says 'Gurudev I think that' 'like this fruit that was so beautiful' 'and how it became so ugly' 'isn't our human life similar to it?' 'today', 'we are beautiful, the body' 'is healthy' 'has strength and has energy' 'but when I see the ministers' 'working for us, when I see' 'the helpers and servants', 'those who have become old', 'those who are diseased', 'those who keep coughing', 'those whose bodies are in pain', 'and they are screaming in pain' 'so when I see their pain' 'I begin to think' 'that a few years ago' 'they were absolutely fine, like', 'like I am healthy today' 'today they have become ill' 'today they are lying on a cot' 'groaning in pain' 'their sorrow' 'I cannot bear to see' 'and then, I feel scared' 'that what has happened to them', 'will the same happen to me too?' 'will I too, like them' 'be ill and lying on a cot' 'death is' 'hovering over our head' Rama is saying and Vashishtha ji is listening to this Rama is not saying anything wrong this is what happens around us here's a man hale and hearty & suddenly you hear he has fallen and broken his bones and now is in the hospital all of a sudden a disease creeps in and then if the family does not have money then how will they get the treatment done he is then suffering in pain, they cry, I remember then, I was in grade 11, and one day at my college that time a woman with a baby who must have been 3 or 4 years old, with the baby in her lap, she was crying, she went on crying, and in the corridor she was moving fast incidentally I saw her, I ran up to her and enquired what happened? because in a girls college, a woman, who is not a the staff there she did not work there, she is neither a lecturer there, to see her with a child there & crying it seemed strange so I asked her, you 'why are you crying? what happened?' she said 'my child 'has Thalassemia' Thalassemia is such a disease in which every month the child needs blood transfusion and the blood group of the child needs to be matched, then the blood of same group, a donor is to be arranged then after checking the blood the baby is given the blood because the child's body is not producing red blood cells causing the white blood cells increase a shortage, as a result and if the patient does not get blood then the body's immunity becomes weak, leading to many complexities, iron increases which may lead to the death of the baby I asked her what is the blood group of her baby, she replied 'my child's blood group is O positive' and my blood group too was O positive so I said I could give blood, you tell me where do we need to go she became very happy she said, come to our hospital with me so, as it wasn't school, where you need to take permission so I just went along with her, we went to a hospital where they took my blood and further the procedure which they had to do I did not stay for it because I had to return to college for my studies the woman's weeping, her tears, her baby's helpless state, seeing that was very heartbreaking that how for the child she was unable to do anything and blood cannot be bought anywhere in the market at some places some people due to poverty you may have heard or you may have read they sell their blood for a 100 rupees or sell it for 200 rupees but sometimes this too happens that you are wanting to buy blood but the blood group that you need that blood group may not be available what to do at such a time? so the Govt so the government has made many regulations based on those rules one cannot sell blood you can only donate blood amongst you those children who are above 18 I will ask all those children that you should know your blood group what it is and our blood, in 4 months we can donate meaning if I donate today then I can donate again after 4 months our body makes up for that whatever blood we have donated it recovers through the food we eat in 4 months it all gets recovered if you do not know the how to donate or the place where you can donate and are not aware of the procedure then, these days, you can get lot of information on the websites or else any blood bank that is sponsored by Red Cross and run by them there you can register yourself by giving your name as a volunteer so that whenever needed they can call and inform you that there is an emergency as such a place and ask you to come, sometimes there is an urgent requirement for blood or plasma is needed it is good to then do it let me come back to the topic our bodies are very fragile, our body is like a glass utensil to which if you apply strong force to place the utensil down it just cracks up and can break our bodies are far more sensitive even more fragile and when what will happen at anytime causing problems what dilemma may arise what disease surfaces, not only in our own self but to those around us, mother, father, family, friends are there teachers are there, with anyone's body anything can happen at any time then at such a time will we be able to prevent it from happening we do not have the power to prevent it if some problem or suffering occurs in our life then what should we do? at that time too sometimes it is a painful situation you are unable to do anything yet you see all the misery and pain often we do not see the pain of others if we see, we do not acknowledge or feel it, If we feel & empathise for sometime then think why bother, we were going to watch a movie, let us go why can I do, if someone is dying, let him someone has fallen, let him, some accident on the road happen, why should I bother? why should I bother? this attitude, you know how harmful it can be? today, you are say for someone, why should I bother? tomorrow it could be you in that place tomorrow it could be you in that place in an accident case if you get trapped and you are lying there fallen, and people just pass by saying why should I care? thinking that why should I get into the mess, I do not wish to get involved they run away, not wanting to be late for their movie, think about it just empathise just imagine and see that fellow who has fallen from the scooter, he is bleeding, with broken bones, he is lying unconscious like you see him, you leave and go away, if tomorrow you are in his place and in the same way if no one helps you and leave how hurt you will feel in your heart if you do not have compassion for others then be selfish at least that to take care of yourself only you take care of others that today if I take care of others then tomorrow someone will take care of me and if you too are stone hearted and your friends like you are stone hearted too and your family too says why do you have to do with it you just leave, come, get away what has it got to do with us? but if this attitude everyone in the society adopts then this will be the biggest downfall of humanity that will then change humans to animals so seeing life's this uncertainty Rama ji was very disturbed and after hearing everything Vashishtha ji says 'Rama,' 'what is new in this?' 'when something goes wrong,' 'it is destroyed because it was in existence 'made sometime in the first place', 'when something breaks it breaks' 'because it was once made' 'something which is created' 'it will break someday' 'something that begins' 'will also come to an end, when' 'there is birth, death is inevitable' 'what is there to be surprised' 'or sad about that' Rama says the question is this only that 'is death the only end of life?' 'To be born' 'and then just die one day' 'do not even know when death comes' 'I am getting worried' 'thinking about this only' Vashishtha ji says Rama 'there is no need to be worried about it' 'we have' 'been born' 'many a times earlier too' 'and we will be born again too', 'many a times' so when Rama heard this he was very surprised, he asked 'is it that I have been born before too?' Vashishtha ji replied 'yes, why only you, I too have been' 'born several times before' 'and in every life' 'I have been, a teacher of' 'your clan' now this what I am going to say now, it is going to be very interesting and I hope that you understand the very hidden meaning in this story Rama ji says, 'you' 'are my father's guru too' 'this I know of but' 'were you my grandfather's guru too?' Vashishtha ji said: 'Yes' he asked, 'of my great grandfather too?' he said, 'Yes, the Ikshawaku clan', 'ever since it's inception' 'O'Rama I have been' 'your' 'clan's guru' Rama asks: 'Lord I am amazed' 'that since the inception' 'the Ikshawaku clan' 'how many different kings have ruled' 'but you have been there ever since' 'how is it possible?' 'when other things are formed' 'and are destroyed' 'they were born and died but you' 'remained the same, how?' then Vashishtha ji answered: Hey Rama 'I have the knowledge of Yoga' 'with the' 'knowledge & influence of Yoga' 'I know the time of my death ' 'and every body' 'can live for a certain period' 'and then it has to die' 'but with the understanding of Yoga' 'and its influence, I am' 'able to put the atoms of my body back together' are you getting the point? atoms have not only been spoken about by western science prior to today, ten thousand years ago when Rama, Dashratha, Vashishtha ji's conversation which is taking place they are then talking about it that our bodies are made of what? atoms, from atom and the disintegration of these atoms is what we call death and Vashitha ji says when the time for my that body to die comes at that time I revive the energy of the atoms of my body again so, my body continues to exist in the same form how old was Vashishstha ji then? like this thing you may have studied in physics that energy never dies energy just changes its form right?
