And in this mind of each person, there's always something or the other... Say not something... but a lot of it... And this, lot of stuff, most of the times, is what shouldn't be there... But, the strange thing is that if someone does not get an exposure doesn't get a training, then there's no difference between a human mind and an animal's mind. What does an animal do? Eats, drinks, sleeps, hunts or grazes on grass, and then, on arrival of the season, mates and gives birth to offspring. And then, either gets killed or naturally dies. And if we see a human, Then what does a human do? Almost the same, it does... Takes birth... umm... prepares to earn bread and butter... To buy food and drink, earns money. Marries... Gives birth to kinds, makes a home... And, well... Animals also make a home... Lion... At some or the other place, it also dwells... Bird... how beautiful nests it makes! Have you ever seen a bird creating her nest? She doesn't need any architect or interior decorator or a mason or a laborer. She does all work all by herself. Collecting straws, making a nest. Giving eggs. Taking care... Flying off some day, she leaves the nest. Why?-I believe, bird is more dispassionate than you people! You think and reflect, no? You've also made a home like a bird. You've also... She laid eggs, you birthed kids... She takes care of those, you care for them... But, that bird, some day, leaves the nest and flies away... You are stuck there only! When do you leave? Ehmm... leavig a house is far off... You are anxious for your home. Some one said to me that I couldn't come to the ashram as whould take care of the house, back there? I said, why? Would your house move out somewhere? -The house had a mood and it got up and moved to Vancouver! And had a mood, then it went to Banff... and when you returned you found empty land... No house there! Where did it go?-Ji, the house went away somewhere...- This won't happen! The truth is-This house would keep lying here, you'd move out, some day! Your great grandfather moved out, or is he there? Say... Well.. are you alive or has ice frozen your mouth tight? Say... Ours is not a discourse where cat got your tongue & you're startled... Here you need to... I would wish that you ask me also and understand as well. I am not talking to stones... Huhh... Not with the walls, I am talking... With humans, I am talking... And, for you, they don't hold any value also. So, in your home, there's not any picture of theirs, even. You know, in school, sometimes they have these project for children -Make a family tree. So, they have a grandfather and then father and then uncles and then few aunts and then sister and brother and wife and the husband and that's it! So, maybe 10 or 12, or maybe 14 or maybe 20 people, altogether. And you're done! For you, who holds value at present? -You! A little-bit... of parents. It's because the ones whose kids are young, they need the granny to care for them. Call a nanny... It is highly expensive! So, it's not just that. The grannies also are quite ready for this. She, too, has her attachments firmly in place, over there. But, see 60, 70, or 80 years of human life you've forsaken those who gave you birth. What do you think that would your kids remember you? But, they're the ones dwelling in your mind. You are concerned just about them, you worry just for them, you think just about them. So, mind is there in all and in the mind, each one has stored something or the other. But, the ones who've been given space, what will they offer you? From them, you get concerns, worries, sadness, attachment.
