Whom do we call a devotee? The one who has made the Lord the charioteer of his life's vehicle. Now, he is riding then, it is his responsibility that how he rides-smooth, rough this way, that way... Once we have surrendered totally to the Lord, and once we have dropped our silly egos, and have this immense faith, immense love, immense trust... -That my Lord is the charioteer who is plying this body's chariot, so, all will be good, all will be right. Even when world says it is not right; for me, it will be right. When the world says,"Oh," "Somebody has died in you family." You would say, "Well, everybody," "is going to die, so, what's the big" "deal? So what? And" when you lose all the money, the world will will say, "Oh, you have lost" "everything!" And you would say, "No, no" "no! I've become a fakir, today, no money!" -Become a fakir! Free... The free technology to become a fakir is lose everything. But, if you have too strong attachments and if you lose anything, you cry like baby. A mother said to me, "No one cares for me at home!" "No one cares for me in at home." I said, "Mother, it's a great thing!" A non-caring attitude of the world is very good. One of our Ehhh... very sweet sage, Swami Prabuddhananda Ji Maharaj... His age reached about 92 years. I went to meet him at Vrindavan, And I know him from the time I when I was 14 years, means this body was nearly 14. At that time, I met him. And he turned 92, then with the ear, he couldn't hear, now. So, he said to me that, "See, everyone says we'll put the machine. You" "get a machine. I say, "No, I do not"" "want to get a machine." Why? The Lord says" "-Now stop listening to the world!" You know, if somebody loses their hearing power, obviously, they will run to a doctor and get a ear machine. But, this swami is saying that God is saying, "Do not" "listen to any worldly talk, now!" "So, no need to use your ears." "The old age is come. The time to" "pack up from this world is coming. So," "why listen to all the crappy gossips" "of people. So, I am not" "going to have any machine" "in my ear." I fought with him. I said, "You don't" "answer your phone call!" And he said, "I've" "lost my phone..." I said, "Why didn't you get another" "phone?" He said, "Now, "The phone losing is" "a sign-Don't talk to" "anybody!" [Guruji laughs] "Don't..." "What is the need to talk?" "What is there" new to talk?" Same syaapas (mournful affairs)!" Same non-sense is there! "Why should I listen to any" "thing. So, don't talk. My phone is" "gone. I am not going to buy a new phone." "My ears are gone. I don't want to" "to have a ear machine." "And I can't even read and I don't want" "any glasses." And you know he... he... he.. had a crooked back. He couldn't walk straight. And.. He said, "I don't want to get my back" "fixed! Let it be" "like that." He said, "Now, I am practically" "the humblest person of all" "because my head is down all the time." [Guruji smiles!] So, he was enjoying his diseases of old age. He is even mocking at old age's diseases... -Ears don't hear... He said, "Thakur Ji says," "you don't have to hear worldly talk now." -The phone was lost. He said-"You don't need to talk to anyone." -Back was bent. He said, "Now, I don't" "want to correct it! As now, I always see " "everyone's feet, first of all. There's "none humbler than me in the world." "So, its my practical lesson." "So, may I remain humble. With ears," "won't hear anything..." "utter nothing with the mouth, then my" "renunciation gets strengthened." These eyes, ears, nose... Otherwise too, senses were given by the Lord for his work. It's a Kabir Ji's couplet, -Nayan diye darshan karne ko, karan diye sun gyan re!" Jeebh di, Hari gun gaane ko charan diye... kar... Haath diye, kar daan re! Hands have been given so that you give! Eyes are given to glance at devotees, sages. Ears are given to listen to the Lord's grace. The tongue is given to sing the qualities of the Lord. ... He said, "I don't want to fix anything!" When do you feel grieved?-When you pin hopes and those hopes go in vain. Rest... Another thing is this, in the world, at times, parents, due to their overt affection, attachment to their kids-their sons, daughters, give away everything. And.. then they're left with nothing at all. And then how should they make their ends meet? They find it hard. So, all of your , here-the people who've grown old now... Or all those who are going to get old... For all of them, this is a free pro-tip- -Due to attachment, do not end up giving everything away to your children! "Keep the box secured!" Keep saying, "There's nothing!" "There's nothing!" No? "Nothing's" "there, nothing's there!" If you give all, later, if they leave you high and dry, then what will you do? maybe your children are very nice! Maybe they're not! How do I know? It doesn't take a while for good to turn bad! When greed arises, then good also turn bad! So, you must keep your pocket secured. You must be a bit practical! Like fools-"You also take, you also take, you also take..." Later, you become a pauper! Then, what will you do? The body is there. You must take care of the body. So respect this body. So, eat right. Eat organic. Don't buy cheap food. Would you buy a cheap salwar-suit? -No! Would you buy cheap saree? -No! Or a shoe? -No! Then, why buy cheap food? Buy organic. Buy good food. If there is any farmer sitting, please grow organic. Eat organic. Eat fresh. Do your asanas. Do your pranayma. Have immense love with God. Somebody said, "How?" That's the whole thing what I'm doing! And even after that, you ask me, "How?" Then, get your IQ level checked. I cannot do anything. Hmm.. Narrated the whole Ramayana; he wakes up in morning and says, "Was "Sita Ravana's sister?" Then, I can't say anything to such people, no? Now, how should we love the Lord? How to?... Well, be in the company of the sages. Be in satsang. Meet the devotees. Now.. In gurdwara, after the ardaas, they say so beautifully- -Seyi pyaare mel, jinha milaya tera naam chitt aave|| -May we meet such people, meeting whom, in our life, satsang adds, remembrance enhances, Divine love increases... Chanting... Desire to listen... And the sense listen well may increase! Do not meet such people who are gamblers, who are crazy for money. Who abuse, who keep fighting. Those who just eat & drink like beasts, and sleep. Do not befriend such people, no? The question is what kind of friends do you have? If your friends are satsangi, then you'll become fond of satsang. Your friends are do bhajan, they'd say -"Well, it's a Sunday, so," "let's sit for 2 hours in remembrance," "kirtan..." Your friends are rogues, then they'll say, "Well," "let's do hooliganism on Sunday!" You don't want to buy anything, just loitering around in the malls, and feel envious, and resentful... And will return home with a high BP. Then, won't be able to sleep at night. As whatever he has seen at night, it dazzles the eyes- "Oh, when will" "I get that? When would I get it?" So, are you crazy? Why do you poke fingers into your eyes. Do not! Let me remind you again. On day 1, I had said-Bapu's 3 monkeys! -Be those, it will serve well. Neither look at vileness, nor speak vile. Nor listen vile. Somebody slanders, say, "We don't want to listen." And don't need to see a bad thing. And don't speak ill of anyone. Someone said, "Ji, even then, if someone does us wrong?" Then what should we do? Well, let him take care of himself! First, he will ignites the fire of anger within. Then, he turns to ashes with that. Then, he abuses you. So, you heard just a single abuse. That poor chap, has roasted up for hours, have little mercy on that person. It's the limit... Mustn't you have some compassion, honesty, humanity in you or not? The one who is boiling in anger... So, begin to pray in front of him, do ardas- "Dear Almighty! Give him wisdom!" "Almighty, give him peace!" Maybe you get thrashed for this. Let it be, no worries! As no one will accept their mistakes. One.. a person... See! He came to meet me. Weird people come... I am afraid to meet people. Yesterday, I was wondering, let's fix a fees for private meeting- 300 dollars per minute. [Guruji Smiles] not hour! You know... No, no, no... Per minute. The person says, "Ji, Need to talk on a" "crucial matter." "Say." "No, please, want to" "meet alone." I said, "No, privately, I won't" "talk, say, here itself!" He said, "My wife is like that... She troubles my" "mother greatly, troubles me greatly," "fights, this.. that... she does..." I kept on listening & listening... Getting fed up, I said, "Alright, I'll divorce with your wife!" He said, "What!" [Guruji laughs] He said, "Ji," "how can you give?" When I can listen to your non sense, then... Many of my disciples are lawyers.. I'll tell someone, they'll send a notice. Obviously I'd send it on your behalf. He said, "No, I didn't mean this!" I said, "Then, why are you telling me?" "You've called for a problem, you bear!" "climbed a mare, with a procession," "you went, now tolerate!" "Whoever has come, howsoever she is..." "If you can't tolerate, leave her." Don't want to leave; stay together, too; get sullied, molder also, then why are you wasting my time? Sometimes, women send a letter, "My husband is" "like this...like this...like this..." At times, I feel that you people hate so much, then why do you stay together? So, I read the letter. I said, I have a pretty simple answer for this! Such a long letter... I read. I said, "Come, now!" I said, "My job" "will be done in one sentence. I've read!" She said, "What?" I said, "Divorce!" Mouth opened! -"What!" "Divorce!" I said, "You've written by" "yourself, he's a demon! Why to stay" "with a demon? Throw him out," "sit and do worship!" [Guruji Laughs] I am telling you this so that no one asks me to meet privately... My answers are quite crooked! You won't be able to bear. I answer like that only. Well, what should I do? I'm the last person to give you advice about marriage; a person who's not married. How can I give you any advice about your children, or relatives, or this or that...? Why... Why should I listen? I know only one thing, & only one thing.. Just to talk about the love, the wisdom, and the path of spirituality. That's it! I know nothing about all these political, black-mailings which you do to one another in name of relations and families. What a game goes on! Game of Thrones... means... Will fight also, will also stay together... Will fight also, stay together also. See, you don't try to please anyone. Just settle your mind so that your mind listens to you. And within you, please the Lord, so that your mind gets attuned to the Lord . Rest, the snakes and ladders will go on! Let it go on... No one can be break free from it. Let me say something at last, as it's a lineup today, so another is in line. So, listen.. Ah! A person got newly married. And, as he got married, then he touched his grandmother's feet. So, both of them, bride ad bridegroom.. touched her feet. Grandmother blessed, "may the" "couple be blessed like Sita-Rama". The wife... the bride said, "Beware!" "-To say me-"couple like Sita-Rama"!" "They never stayed together." [Audience laughs, GuruJi laughs] "First, Ravana abducted. Upon return," "the washerman commented... They never" "stayed together. Beware, granny, to" "say me,"Be a couple like Sita Rama!"" She said, "Okay," "Lassie, may you be a couple like Radha-" "-Krishna! Beware to say Radha-Krishna!" "They never got married." [Audience laughs, GuruJi laughs] "I don't want even this blessing!" She asked, "Then, what" "blessing may I give?" She said, "Doodho nahao, pooto falo!" She said, "Don't say even this-milk is" "pricey, nowadays. Its not" "possible!" It should be practical. Well, all you need is to respect each other, appreciate each other. Love... Give space to each other. Don't boss about on each other. That's all! And the marriage which lacks this, it's not a marriage at all! So, the ones that walk on the path of love are unique. And the fact is that the ones that keep their mind settled, are also settled in the world. Whether others molder, simmer, or go, or love, or give affection. In every situation, he... Never allows his mind to get agitated. So, learn to calm your mind and don't worry about circumstances. Circumstances will always be in favor or against. That is the rule of the the samsara (world). So, it is okay. Just take care of your mind. Do not worry! How? -Do worship. It is time for the completion of the 3-day program. My, all followers and disciples... Today, a lot many are sitting on the left and right. All of you are acquainted with each other. And, Umm... This also is the Lord's blessing. Who, where, and when will come, and who, where, when will meet, it's the Lord's doing. I understand that all volunteers are surely greatly blessed by the Lord.. So, they took out their time, and were so thoughtful that they organized this worship of true knowledge, this Amrit Varsha program. And... You all got a chance to meet and sit in satsang, to learn, to understand. So, it's such a blessing of the Lord! Such a mercy...Fathomless mercy is there...! And with great blessings, this 3-day program, dear Lord, beautifully got accomplished. We're highly grateful to the Lord. And may you all receive His benevolence. His mercy is showering... And that shower of mercy, may you be able to feel that... I make such a prayer for you all... Om... Sarve bhav-antu sukhi-nah... Sarve santu niraa-mayah... Sarve bhadr-aani pash-yantu, maam-kash-chid dukh-bhaag-va-vet|| Purna-madhah purna-midam purnaat-purna-muda-chhyate... purna-asya purna-maadayah purna-meva vashishy-ate ||... Hari Om... Om...
