The entire Bhakti Marga works on the notion that Paramatama is different from me and I'm distinct from him Parmatama is distinct from me and vice-versa, and I have to entice my beloved Lord, cajole him, invite him in my heart, and get his vision- this emotion runs through All the efforts which woman folk put to please the husband actually that portion has been picked by saint Namdev Ji Maharaj. And, he's saying that I'm the wife of God The path of devotion, the path of Bhakti is for crazy people only because in this you have all the freedom... You can see God as your husband, as mother, as father, as friend.. as Lord And you have all the freedom to do that It is in the Bhakti Marg saints where they have this kind of freedom But in our Bharata Saints, Bhakti Marga saints, there is a total freedom So every bond can be created, every relation can be formed- like in the world, mother, father, brother, friend- all these relations you have seen and experienced them So it means that for you creating that relation with the Lord can be a little easier You have seen your father; you have loved him So if I like to see the Lord as father, it won't be much difficult for me That's in Gurbani, so many words come- "Tu mera pita, tu hai mera mera mata, tu mera bandhak, tu mera bhrata"- You are my brother, my father, my mother You are my companion; you are my friend Question also arises- like I have got one here that is Lord transcendental or non-transcendental... You say Lord is transcendental And he's manifested in all places But we have always heard this the the Lord is Shri Krishna Lord is Shri Krishna And Krishna is in temple; Krishna is in Dwarika; Krishna is in Vrindavan So now, what should we make out of this? Why are you making a fight out of it? He's Sarguna (With gunas) as well as Nirguna (without gunas) What matter is there to fight for? Sarguna aap, nirgun vi ohi, kaladhar jin sagli mohi He's Nirgun as well as Sarguna The one which is referred to as monotheism Monotheism means there is only one Lord And he never takes birth or descends into a body; he has no form Huh He's beyond the concept of time; he's truth personified So given the scenario, how can he descend into a body? That's why in monotheism, the Lord can have no avatar That the Lord cannot come as human; can't take birth from the womb of a female Because whosoever is born out of the womb will die It's a rule So the one who dies is not Lord; the one who takes birth is not Lord- Very true Very true But then there is another truth as well That if the Lord is truth, eternal, limitless, omniscient, all-over.. What is this entire world then? If we say that the Lord is everywhere... So the statement is acceptable only when he's in you, me, trees, plants, and everything- else we'll have to say that he resides in one place Are you getting the point? On one way we are saying that the God is omniscient.. Present everywhere And then also.. we say, God is different from us We are just a Jeeva And God is great And we are just mortal And God is immortal So this means you are creating two existences; One of God, one of you And also the third and that is of the world But if we say God, me- meaning the Jeeva.. and the world- If these are three different entities hence there is no relation with one another Samsara is mortal and God is not- so there is no relation So the Bhakti siddhant people get struck up in their own ideology without understanding it fully Somebody is saying Ram; somebody is saying Waheguru- so there's a big fight happening in this world Which God to believe in? Countries were divided; water bodies were divided; lands were segmented- these people have divided God as well Your God; my God! Yeah? Fight and die; Don't use the brain Now make use of some intellect The one you are calling God, if he's distinct and someone far away then who is inside you? I'll say a few lines; Very beautiful couplet Ye bahar awaaz hui, ye bahar kaun hai?- This sound happened outside, who is out there? Ye bahar awaaz hui, ye bahar kaun hai? Tum to dil k ander ho, ye bahar kaun hai?-You are residing in the core of my heart, who is this outside? If the Lord is residing in my heart only then who is the poor thing being caged inside the temples? Are you getting the caged? Now there won't be any Darshan- time is over. Why? Has the God got tired of giving Darshan No no no, Pandit Ji gets tired. He also needs some rest But they won't say that Pandit Ji requires rest. They'll say the God is resting We went at some place so they say that now Darshan can't happen. God is taking rest; God is asleep I said the day God will go into the sleep, you also won't be wakeful anymore But they say just anything Krishna, Ram, Shiva, Durga Hmmm... They say, believe in them So the ones believing in form and formless God are always at loggerheads They are always fighting The same thing Saint Namdev Ji is saying- "Vaad vivaad kaho su na keeje"- "Don't argue with anyone; let the fools fight" You sit down and meditate. And what is the reality? He's formless as well as with the form If he's with the form then he's not just the Krishna Every human being is him every animal is him Haan...Every bird is also him He's the one manifesting through this Prakriti So, with the form and without it.... where does the difference lie between the two? For instance, we take an example- see, this is a flower Flower is visible but fragrance is not You can see the flower but you cannot see the fragrance Fragrance is formless The rose with the form.. so flower and fragrance are going together; there is no problem Is there any problem in this? So, the body is visible.. Gross But you are invisible Aren't you going together... What is the trouble? Now this is something which will boggle you down O how come I'm not body? So who the damn I am? Yes you are damned, until you don't understand Okay? Now.. God is with the form or formless? He's with form as well as formless He's 'Nirguna' (attribute-less) as well as 'Sarguna' (with attributes) Flower is visible and fragrance is not Body is visible, Atman is not Body is visible, mind is not Isn't mind and body together? And behind mind is intellect and behind that is the 'self' If I'm also in this then what's the issue? Water has no form but with the same water, bubbles, froth, waves... waves as massive as tsunami All are made of water, or they got created without water? Now you all fight over this... that water is Nirguna (attribute-less) Water is formless- formless means without any shape It means it has no form or face Very true! But a bubble has a shape Froth has a form Waves have a shape So is it your dad sitting inside a wave? Waves also has water So the once formless water has become a wave ...a bubble, a drop Water in itself remains formless but when it assumes a form... it still remains a water So God can be with the form and God can be without the form There is no trouble; the only trouble is when you bring this stupid "I" in this ....that doesn't fit anywhere This egotistical "I" doesn't fit anywhere And this "I" is giving all the trouble and all the debate and all the questions So, I find it so difficult to talk to religious minded people Oh, they are just pain in the head .. Not the other one Now the ones who don't get to experience the bliss of Satsang, wisdom, and meditation... how do such poor things survive? Okay, the juice of lemon was squeezed out It is water... Juice of sugarcane is extracted.. that is water; barley juice is extracted- it is water A person was having beer A Dharmic person said, use some brain You are having beer?..... Tch I'm having barley water Use some brain You are having alcohol? He said, not at all! I'm having sugarcane juice Just that it's a bit fermented What's the issue? You are having Liquor? He said, Nah It's just the barley water which I'm drinking.. it's no problem! Why should I drink... anything bad? I'm not drinking anything bad. I'm drinking very nice thing I think all are going to walk out of here Alcohol can be any, but the base is water But the form changes Drink water and you won't lose your mind Consume liquor, you'll lose your mind and also damage the liver with it One said, my daddy reached 90 (years)- he's all fine So why would mine go bad? Keep drinking then.. what's the problem? It's okay Base is water, but in the same water some color came With fermentation, some of its attributes changed and it began to give sedation effect Likewise.. see where is liquor, where is absolute existence The very foundation of this world is the supreme existence Understand absolute conscious like water And the one whom we are calling Krishna, Ram, or Guru Nanak they are the ones who have got some color the ones in which some form and shape has come some language has come and where some mind-intellect has also got attached At the elemental level, it is water only but why liquor? The properties of the both became distinct Why? Because some additions have happened Likewise, in Sat-Chit-Anand-Vyapak Parmatama when the Antahkaran (Mind-Intellect-Ego-self) got attached Now from where did they come; they came from Maya (Macro-cosmic Illusion) From where did Maya come? Maya comes from where? Nowhere! The one which is 'nothing' is Maya The one which appears manifested in spite of being nothing is Maya The one through which everything becomes visible is Maya; the one which itself is nothing despite being visible is Maya
