Being an oncologist, he used to treat cancer of others but he himself died of cancer in prostrate gland at the age of 49. It got diagnosed only when it reached the fourth stage, not before that. He was uncomfortable and little discomfort. He thought it might be due to indigestion or upset stomach and didn't get it tested. Then finally, one of his radiologist friend said it will take just a couple of minutes. Let me check! After diagnosis, it was found that he was suffering from fourth stage of prostrate cancer when no chemotherapy is possible. And life, just three months or six months or one year. Done! So, when he saw his friend dying like this recalled the knowledge he had listened to. Moreover, when your friend or someone close dies in front of you like this, then you get jolted. So, he got a tight jolt and wrote me an email. See! it is my job to answer, make one understand and guide the right path to the seeker. Although that's a different story, majority of people seek blessings that their houses should remain intact. Guru Nanak had blessed someone, "May you get displaced." It's true! Baba Nanak had blessed..."May you get displaced." and Bhai Mardana had asked why Guru said such words to so kind people. He said there is a reason: These people are good people with great values and if they leave they will spread good values amongst others. Without self-realization or enlightenment, the bondages of mind do not get removed and owing to the bondages of this very mind, the vicious circle of grief, enchantments and misery goes on. In the life of an enlightened one... A knowledgeable one, performs all kinds of deeds but despite doing all deeds he remains detached because he is Self-Realized. And all those who haven't realized their Self, they perform their deeds as a doer and then bear the fruit of their own actions. Basically, till the time ignorance exists, "I" exist, that is attached with the mind and intellect. So, I should get happiness and shouldn't get miseries, all the efforts keep continued for the same. We call these efforts only as the deeds. Right? And on performing actions, you will bear its fruit too. Which action will bear fruit at what time, its difficult to comment. It's hard to say that for which actions of your past lives shall you bear the fruit in present life. Then comes the role of astrology in that. Astrology is a deep subject. It's a part of Veda. Somebody who has got around minimum of 40 years of good experience, One who is not greedy for money and is a devoted seeker. See! I am saying the one who is not greedy for money. with 40 years of experience, must be a devoted seeker only that person would be able to calculate for you that in which month and on what day, what will you have to bear. good and bad, everything. If not more but at least one who has around 55 years of experience in astrology, one such eminent astrologer had said this thing that "if I apply all of my learnt knowledge, then I can predict upto sixty percent correctly" Sixty percent! But still it is quite a big percentage. What will happen and what will not? But then he..... Normally, people visit an astrologer to know about when will they get married or when will they get a job or get PR But the one who starts delving deep in spiritual practices, starts getting detached from the worldly affairs. Otherwise also, this knowledge is not to know what and when something will happen in this world, rather it's a study to explore the possibility of treading on the path of spirituality and attaining knowledge in this very birth. Kabir in his beautiful verses says, "Jab lag Jara, Rog nahi aaya." "Jara" means Senility. "Rog nahi aaya, Jab lag kaal grasi nahi kaaya" Till the time death has not come to kill your body, you have time to do something till that moment only. Time is very short. Time is very limited. Whether it would happen or not..... But it can only begin when some virtues awaken. Only if some previous merits awaken, one meets a Sadhguru. and after meeting sadguru only one can have the possibility of treading on the path of spirituality. If one has a firm resolve, only then one can follow spiritual practices. So, the practices and firm resolve of disciple along with blessings and guidance of the Master, when all this combination fits appropriately then a deep affection gets established with the Master. Slowly and slowly, this becomes the utmost priority and rest of the things dissipates gradually.. Swami Ram used to say," Why to keep something in heart that is to be abandoned one day." That which is to be left one day, it should be abandoned right now from your heart. So, keep leaving, leaving and leaving......... So, whom to offer your heart? To the futile world or where there is no deception? Where there is no deciet? Where there is no selfishness? Where there is only and only grace, compassion, knowledge and meditation. There the mind should connect with deep love. Very dense love. Do you understand dense love? Very dense. Pure! Very dense. Very very dense! This much dense love should pour in the heart. "Guru Guru Guru kar mann mor, Guru bina main naahi hor", this is called dense love. "Gaahda" in punjabi is termed as 'gurhi' dense. Deep love! The heart should get filled with so much of deep love, then nothing needs to be abandoned. How to get rid of lust or greed or attachments? Oh no dear! Deep love takes away everything on its own. Like, the girl who gets a loving husband, she forget her friends & cousins from the parental side Right? She doesn't leave... they are just left on their own.
