She said I am so fortunate I am so fortunate that this happened to me not angry that why it happened but it happened for good for me that, that suffering taught me what is there in the world? when she was in pain in depression, mother, father brother, sister, no one could help her. Where did she get help from? from the knowledge, from listening when she started meditating and while practicing meditation the mind moved inward & became still mind became beautiful the mind was infused with joy then her life was filled selfless service meditation, no longing for life now no complaints, no grudges any more how many people will understand this many a times I say is this necessary that some accident occures in your life then only you will know the importance of a Guru then only will value this knowledge not before that but 98.9 percent of the time in this world this is what I see till the time you have comfort & joy all is good then what Satsang? what Guru? you don't waste time, one says I don't waste time in such useless things, but I always say this without knowledge man is blind and the world is a blind well, and this blind well when a blind man has to walk in it will he not fall? how will he be stable? the master is that physician who, gives power to my eyes to see, brings back my sight gives me that and then from my eyes only the the light of knowledge that comes out with that the blind well too lights up this world pales fades and illusionary is lifeless and a source of sorrow but with the light of the knowledge this world too then begins to appear as God's own form. Meaning that this is God's physical true form it appears to be How many people will understand this? how many people will know this? very few otherwise in the same circle they will remain trapped moves out of one circle and enter into the other, he comes out of the second then goes into the third there are those people who have no idea of the Knowledge or the Guru but then another thing that I am saying today it is very important many people are those who will walk on this path of knowledge but still do not reach anywhere why does this happen? meaning they hear the discourse but even after listening the fire of dispassion does not get ignited that resolve to meditate is not strong to practice regularly they are not able to commit they have found the Master they have heard words of wisdom but no change comes in their lives there are 4 reasons for that today I will take up these 4 reasons to tell you you see which one of these applies to you once that is eradicated then your problem will be resolved the first reason is that when one hears the wisdom, when one meets the Guru and get to know the difference and then looks at ones own life between sins and virtues then feels 'Oh, I have' 'committed only sins' even if no one knows about my sins but I know them even if no one knows about my misdeeds I know what I have done then, of this birth one knows something but knows nothing of the previous births tendencies from our pervious births carryover to this birth someone who is lazy, is lazy not from today but from before if one is short tempered then its not new which started today if one is short tempered then its not new which started today he has brought it from before and and is not able to rid himself of it if someone is greedy then that too is old, greed is not leaving him and this difference sometimes is so visible to me. At times people bring their little babies to me to name them when I name them, then I give them something, something which they can eat and then many a times those kids come to me after growing up then when I meet them then again I give them something I have seen, there would be one child whom I will offer something like a candy, and I say take it, he will take it, then if I say take one more he will take that too now there are two types of kids one who with greed with quickly snatch it and the other who are filled with such rage that in anger they snatch it from me he is just a 3, 4 or 5 year old kid now to the kid you cannot scold and I myself have called them, but their behaviour is different and then there is a child whom I show 4, keeping them on my hand asking him to take & he picks one only no matter how much I may tell him to take one more, yet he will not take some children are those who take and go then come back again asking for more some children are such that I call them back urging to take more they say yes, give me more and when I give, they ask for the mother too give for the father too meaning how calculative mind is the body is young of a four or five year old child or a six year old child but see his calculation so taking names of others how many now why this difference in behaviour? he wants to take all belong to affluent families not like they have never eaten that before so they feel greedy no! they belong to good families but why is their behaviour different due to the training of the mind in the previous birth, with that same training they are working in this life too that is carrying on when one hears of good or bad what is the fruit of it then man sometimes feels very inferior thinking of the mis deeds done by him have done too many bad deeds have done the worst and a person like me listening to supreme knowledge has no right to it meaning extreme self derogatory thoughts now see the Guru is there knowledge is there but how he has blocked his own path by assuming that I am not eligible for it I have sinned I have tortured others, I have stolen I am not a pious person I have gambled I have done this, I have done that meaning all kind of thoughts. when such thought come in the mind then feeling of inferiority gets in the mind then he becomes his own enemy with good fortune he met the Guru but the feeling of inferiority blocked the way this is one of the biggest obstacle in the way of gaining knowledge the second obstacle if we take is called 'Suk-Kruto-tha' Su-Krata meaning a good deed Now there are many since they were born, mother father have been doing Yagya doing charity doing all pious deeds and the child participated in all in Yagya, in giving donation & charity in going to pilgrimages, & doing all this he grows up to be an adult, even today he is doing that, has visited all pilgrimages, making lodges there he makes charitable contributions in various places. Su- Krat did many fine good deeds now is proud of all those good deeds so he says why do I need all this? one I am wealthy, second I am charitable Third I do pious deeds why do I need to run after an enlightened master my life is sorted, I give charity and do pious deeds we don't need anybody pride! too much pride! his own good deeds if one is filled with this then in his knowledge in his path will be a big block though it is a good deed doing good deeds is a good thing but these good deeds now have become a blockage in his path of knowledge meaning if sins the pride of these sins is a deterrent then the pride of virtuous actions too is a deterrent sins and virtuous deeds both can be reason of pride and both block the way, now what will one do in such a situation for man, journey becomes difficult so the third blockage I am going to talk about the third blockage is Vishaya- Sang-go-tha-t Materialistic remains entangled in that getting too much material comfort access to good food access to good relations, good money good house good cars, good vacations and if you have all this money to spend and so many things to indulge which fool will go to listen to Satsang one fellow, I who is an acquaintance, says I just got back from Europe after ten days again I am going to America then after that I am going there and in September..... okay, where will you be in September ? before I could say anything, he told me his program 'half of September I am not here' 'in Bali, one of our friends' 'child's is getting married', 'a destination wedding, so we are' 'going to Indonesia, then December I' 'will be in Singapore, the japan in' 'November, this that' I said Okay!
