कैसे हैं शिव गंगाधराय नागेश्वराय AV Ep 1457 l Daily Satsang l 15th Feb 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

That... Gangotri... means flowing for 16 km...So vast... Such a velocity... So much noise, so much of water in that. And then, in that, flowing incessantly, Uttarkashi and Rishikesh, and Haridwar. And you see, the form of the Ganges is expanding and expanding. But, the emergence point, the source. It is very small. Now, if the Ganges stays in Shiva's jata (matted locks), then if go to Gomukh, then we should be able to see Shiv Ji, as she is tied in his jata. But, at that place, there are just stones. Now, what's this matter? The matter is something else. What's that? We'll open up the mystery a bit, today. The first thing- When it was said, in Mahadeva's head, the Ganges resides... So, its pictorial format, Pauranic format would be this that there's a man's body that has hair... There is jata (matted locks), and the jata gives way to stream of water. But, this... To veil a deeper mystery, this external symbolism was used. What is the Ganges? In every human being's body, these two nasal openings are present whereby the breath goes in. This much I have told you earlier also. When the left swara goes on, then it is ida. And the right, surya swara, that is pingala. In tantra's dialect, this itself is known as the Ganges. Ida and pingala. Now, the swara that are going on, they're in the breath. So, are ida and pingala also moving within the breath? -Not at all. Something is said. Then, if that thing... Someone does sadhana, practices this, then the next thing may also be revealed. When this thing was heard, even that wasn't done rightly. Nadi shodhan pranayama was for comprehending this only. From the left, the breath is taken in; from right, it was exhaled. From right, it was inhaled, exhaled from left. Then, this is the flow of wind. How does ida-pingala come into play in this? The basic source of ida-pingala is present in the spinal column's spinal cord. And it begins from the base of the spine. Now, this which we call as ida-pingala and sushumna, this is what in tantra's dialect is known as Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Sushumna is Saraswati. And the blissful thing is, that the one who spotted this flow of ida-pingala, comprehended it and then directed it, giving the dimension to that. And these three... Now, this, where I am placing my finger.-this isn't the Agya Chakra. A lot of people would start repeating this only. No. It is right deep inside the brain. Where the spinal column is ending. At that end -ida, pingala and ... sushumna's...The three flows, where they meet, that is what we call kumbha. This is the triveni where the three flows meet-we call that as triveni sangam. Mahadeva is addressed as Gangadharaye-the one whose head has Ganga. Meaning -The one whose sahasrara is opened up. Whose all chakras are pierced. Whose kundalini has gone back to its beloved. In tantra's speech, again... What's the place of Shiva? They said-This is! -The consciousness. Your consciousness's seat. The seat from where it is functioning is the brain. So, where is the shakti present? They said shakti is present in the muladhara. Where is the muladhara? If you'll cut and tear this body, you'll not find anything? Muladhara is subtle. But, we can say this anatomically, it is two fingers above the anal opening. At that place, in a tankard, in a swivel, forming a coil, shakti, who?-Sati; Who? Parvati is sitting. Shiva is here. Shakti is present in the root. And doing sadhna, the one who awakened his kundalini... Now, when it comes to awakening the kundalini, then it does not get awakened due to your longing. There is a deep practice for that. At least, for three years, with systematic practice, asanas need to be perfected. For six years, pranyama needs to be perfected, which involves perfecting internal and external kumbak. And then, post this, with dharna shakti (power of holding), the one who awakens the kundalini shakti... Means, now this shakti, Parvati, where does she go? To Himalaya, to the snow, or this is also known as 'hima'. Why? Because the one whose mind has True Knowledge, dispassion, compassion like a mountain of snow. -Cool... Super cool. Like snow, like ice, whose head is now cool, It is said, she is the daughter of that 'hima'. Parvati. So, the story outside is indicating the story of the inside. Now, the outer story is understood instantly. But the story within is just not understood. So, who is Mahadeva? Whose head has Ganga, meaning whose ida is perfectly flowing, whose pingala is perfectly flowing. Ganga is also a symbol of True Knowledge. Ganga is the symbol of austerity. Ganga is the symbol of dispassion. My, very dear... friend... Yogi; who, for nearly 20 years, stayed at Tapovan. And, so many sages, such as Swami Akhandananda Ji Saraswati of Vrindavan; such as our dear Swami Ram Kripalu Ji. So many such sages... All of them have the same thing to say-Ganga is the river of dispassion. Sitting on its banks, doing nothing else... Just sitting on its banks...regularly, then the subconscious gets dispassionate. Why? Well, from the beginning of time, Mahadeva and all the yogis, sadhus, sages in Mahadeva's tradition. How many Rishis, Munis, hermits, they all did their austerities sitting on its banks. This is the effect of their austerity, that now, even this water has dispassion. Whose subconscious is not pure, whose mind isn't pure may sit on the banks of Ganges to drink liquor, making alcohol with the waters of Ganges itself. Possible! As a thing becomes sacred only when the mind is pure. When the mind itself isn't pure, then what would be pure? Say? Ashram is a pure field. But, in the Ashram, Temple, Gurdwara, if someone goes to do sinful conduct, -theft, ill conduct, gambling- can anyone stop him? Say? Who will stop him? The pure place is only pure for the one whose mind is pure. And the one whose mind is pure, for that one, all these spiritual practices, all this discussion of the Lord's path, all scriptures and all sages' blessings are there. So, the one we call Mahadeva; Mahadeva, in the human form, he is the first Yogeshwara, from whom flowed Yoga, Gyana, Vedanta, Tantra. Mahadeva is also known as Trilochan. Tri- means 3, lochan means eye. Trilochan-He has 3 eyes. Now, what have the painters done? Suppose they made a photo of Mahadeva, and here, they also made an eye. Again, it's symbolism. But, there is a deeper meaning to every symbol. Every code has a decode. If you cannot decode, then, for you, it won't hold any meaning. Two eyes are open-the world is visible. These two eyes are open-the world is visible. The third eye- -yours is closed. The one who has an awakened third eye, he is known as Mahadeva. Now, this third eye, what is this? This third eye, according to tantra, is known as Agya chakra. And with the earthly science's present day attempts to understand... Then, they call it pineal gland. Pineal gland is the seat of all knowledge and intuition. The one whose this third eye is also open, he is addressed as Trilochan. Now, we offer salutations to Trilochan Mahadeva-it is great! Worship him. That's also great! But, dear one, till your third eye doesn't open, until then, you will remain blind, fool, false, deceitful. This third eye of True Knowledge, of yours, you also will have to open! And it is said when Mahadeva's third eye opens, then pralaya (doom) happens. Surely, it is truth. Whether it comes inside, outside, which pralaya comes, this is not understood. It is known-Pralaya happens. That's it. Ages old, this darkness of ignorance, illusion, gets doomed when this third eye of True Wisdom opens. That's it! Mahadeva is also known as Nageshwara. Now, again painters came into the scene, they made snakes to adorn in his neck, arms just like jewels. But, Nageshwaraya doesn't mean this. Naga... is used to address kundalini shakti. So, Nageshwaraya means, -The one who let his kundalini shakti win. Onkaraya... This is also the name of Mahadeva Mahadeva is always established in his attribute-less, Onkar form. Brahm-vit Brahm-aiv Bhav-ati... The one who knows the Brahm becomes Brahm. The one who knows Onkar, he becomes the form of Onkar, that's why Onkaraya. Vishweshwaraya... This is another name of Mahadeva-Vishweshwara. Vishwa-means the world. Vishweshwaraya... This entire world is just a bubble arisen inside his subconscious. How many bubbles arise in the sea? So, what you're calling as... this huge world, this is just a flow of the subconscious-nothing more. The fact is whatever is the truth of Mahadeva, the same is yours. You don't know your truth. That's why you're wretched, poor, sad. You understand like this-jaagrat, swapna, susuphti. Consciousness moves in these 3 states. Consciousness, in 3 levels... such as now, we will say it is jaagrat. When you sleep, then it is swapna (dream) state. And then post swapna, deep sleep, which we call sushupti, it comes. And when the eye opens, then the entire world is seen. But, as you go into deep sleep, where does your entire world vanish? Can you pay attention what is where? Where is the body? Where are the children? Where is the home-family? So, Vishweshwaraya... Means- inside whom this true perception exists that this entire world is just a thought arisen in my subconscious. It's just an anti-thought. Nothing more. A person in deep sleep has no "I"ness, 'mine', 'yours'... A sleeping person has no lust, no anger, no greed, no attachment. Is there any? If someone is deep asleep; you bring such a big diamond in front of him, will he feel greedy? If he's sleeping, deep asleep, bring a very beautiful alluring damsel in front of him, will he get any lust? The mind is when... The world is when the mind is... when there's no mind, whither is the world? So, Vishweshwaraya... He is the master of this entire world. Vedanta says a very cherished thing. Till we are joined with the deh (body), we stay in dehbhaav-body is mine. I am body. Aham-deho, mam-deho. Until one is in this frame of mind, till then, we are jeevas wandering in this world. When, from the body, the association with 'I' and 'mine' is broken, and from the body, you've seen Yourself distinctly. This annamaya, parnamaya, manomaya, vigyanmayi, anandmayi boundaries-seen yourself distinct from them, Aha! Now, we have become Onkar swaroop. Now, what is the world? Its said-nothing at all! Now, the world is nothing at all!
