The life that you are earning for, that life is slipping out of your hands When you were running from Point A to Point B And when you were running the race to become a billionaire from a millionaire and a trillionaire from a billionaire During that time, this precious life of yours just passes by, it ends And then no matter how much wealth you have You can't buy health with money You can't go and order it in any market or from any online marketplace That I wish to order 1 kg of very good health And good sleep Please deliver me within 30 minutes Right? It's not possible You can't get health by ordering it Neither can you buy a good life, a prosperous life with money Neither can you buy a good sleep Pay attention that the sleep you get by taking a sleeping pill That sleep doesn't give you health Because your brain remains active And especially the pre-frontal brain The sedative did it's job in that so an induced sleep will happen But internally the anxiousness of mind remains the same And on the top Once I saw a sleeping pill packet that someone had I said, "Show it to me, you might not have read but I want to read it's side effects" It was a long list You can have suicidal thoughts You should not drive car You should not be operating heavy machinery after taking this medicine at least for next 6 hours And one side effect that was written was - It can affect your liver, it can affect your pancreas It can... And in the end it said... The side effect is... You may feel lack of sleep You are taking the meds for the sleep And the side effect of this medicine is That it may cause insomnia You will find it difficult to sleep How is that? What is it doing inside? And it's true those who have taken sleeping pills for a long time They know that slowly it's potency needs to be increased And then sometimes, instead of just one you need to take two drugs together And the person remains groggy all day A big question mark can be placed on his capacity to think and make decisions Because that person won't remain as active Laziness, sloppy-ness will be there In the day time If you have taken a sleeping pill at night So in this race of life, where you... I understand that to meet your household expenses, to give your children a good education To maintain a relatively so-called normal lifestyle, you need to work And you must work But then you can only think about work And even after saving millions...sometimes even billions so that even the next four generations don't need to work But if this is your only achievement that you have a lot of money Then this is not really an achievement Because if something goes wrong with your health, even then this money won't be able to do anything And you have seen during these 2 years of covid That whether someone was rich or poor, everyone was getting scared of covid What to do? How to protect oneself? Whether you will live or not? There was a question mark There was no medicine, there was no treatment Was it only the poor or middle class people who were scared? Weren't the rich scared? When a disease comes to the body in this way I know someone who is a very wealthy industrialist When I went to his house, I saw his father who was in a wheelchair and he wasn't able to speak He had an advanced-stage Parkinson's And he had several other diseases He couldn't speak He would just look and they brought him in front of me and said, "This is my father" But he didn't know who I was Even if I wanted to talk to him, he couldn't understand He was there was sometime and then took him back That "take dad back" He couldn't eat He couldn't drink tea His hands would shake He couldn't take the glass to this mouth So, the servant puts it in his mouth And sometimes he couldn't take a sip That would also come out And I couldn't understand that the man who just earned money all his life He didn't earn Dharma He earned money He didn't earn dhyana (meditation) He earned money But he didn't earn the blessings and grace of Lord given in form of Bhagvad Gita Then what did he really earn? And the strange thing that happened was that the devotee that took me to his house and I saw his sick father A time came that he became sick just like that He became sick exactly in the same manner, was in the wheelchair in the same way In the same way, he couldn't talk But until he remained in contact, my effort was that he should give some time to himself Do something "Yes, yes...I will do it" He listened to me a lot and loved me a lot But Until the attachments are not discarded Until one realizes the Self Until you bring this monkey-like mind in your command Meaning, this monkey's alcohol intoxication must be removed The snake that it is biten by, that poison must also be taken out The bees that are bothering it should also be removed And then this monkey must be taught how to sit still and silent like a Yogi Can you even imagine what a big task this is and how difficult it is? But unfortunately, this is not of primary importance for anyone Everything else is important I want to request that this world is very dear to me If I look at it according to the principle of Vishisht Advaita, then Ishwara himself has manifested as the world So, the way Ishwara himself is Satyam (Truth) Shivam (Shiva) Sundaram (Beautiful one) Then his world is also beautiful and that which gives bliss But this world has a specific characteristic That nothing here will remain permanently Neither your body nor your houses nor your money Nor this visible world A minor tremor came in Turkey and Syria recently And several cities were destroyed Forty thousand reported deaths What kind of unconsciousness are you living in? The things you are proud of Whether it's your house or money or body All these things you have are as impermanent As... A drop of water on a lotus leaf Right now it's there and a moment later it falls off It's there and then vanishes in a moment Kabir Sahib gave an example And he says Like a morning star, one moment it can be seen and then it disappears Because the sunlight came Your like is just like that He says - Like a paper toy, it melts away with a drop of water If a small droplet of water falls on it, paper gets destroyed I know someone He was telling me that his father used to live in a village He was a big landlord and had a lot of money There was no bank nearby So, whatever he would earn he kept all that money behind his house by digging a hole in the garden and placing a wooden trunk full of money in it And it was a lot of money First one trunk became full, then second and third... And he would go in the darkness of night, dig the hole and place his money there and again cover it with soil properly And he would place a few pots there and no one really knew or bothered Others in the family didn't know either Then he became old Then one day he thought of telling his son where he had kept all the money So he told his son, "There is the garden in the back and this is the place so dig this up" "And all my money is kept at approximately 2 feet and it's all yours from today because I am about to go" And the son went running in the garden and started digging He also found the trunk But when he opened the trunk It was full of termites All the money was destroyed There were just insects and no money was found there And the silver or other coins that were kept were all OK Rest all the notes, he had kept nearly 10 million rupees there...he kept all account in his brain Older generations didn't really have chartered accountants so all accounts were in his brain That it must be 10 million And here he didn't even get 1 rupee, let alone 10 million So, he took his last breath crying "Oh, my money is gone...my money is gone" It's a paper note, gets destroyed with a drop of water Similarly, Kabir Sahis says - Your life is as temporary It's not eternal So knowing this truth, understanding this truth What should be important in your life? Like, grains are important for this body And when I talk about grains, I have been saying this for last 3 years... That you must eat "thick" grains and millets They are healthier But if you don't eat food, then this body made of grains will not function So, grains are needed to make this body made of grains function Similarly, to keep this mind active... A thinking mind An observer mind A mind which can analyze A mind which can understand things This food for the mind It is necessary to give the mind it's food And what is food for the mind? It can't be gold/silver, singing/dancing and travelling around All these things give temporal joy I am not denying that If you eat good food, both mind and tongue are happy But you will be hungry again after 4 hours If you watch a good movie, both mind and eyes are happy But next week you will again start searching for a new good movie No object of sensory pleasure gives you permanent joy It gives that temporarily I don't deny that at all But does your mind know any such entity that gives you eternal joy? And gives you a continuous feeling of bliss? That which cannot be touched by death? And the body might die because of disease or old age But no one can reduce or dim that energy of knowledge within you If you have that energy of knowledge If you have that understanding Then know that you have attained something special, very beautiful in your life If you are a worshipper of beauty That you need a beautiful house, beautiful clothes - that's very good Take your focus a little bit on the mind - shouldn't the mind be beautiful too? The mind in which fire of anger is always ablaze And it keeps eating the (????) of worry That mind can't be beautiful Our mind should become free of worry For that I will tell the same story again For Sant Chokha Mela ji's disciple Mahri When I started, for me Lord was in that temple He was not at home I should go to the temple, do pranam and bow down I should have darshan so that my mind feels happy But then with the grace of my Guru That Beginning-less, Infinite, Eternal, Pure, Ever-Conscious, Liberated Eternal Bliss, Eternal Truth Ahh... She realized that ParaBrahman (Absolute Existence) Mahri Ji says that now within me and outside me, I see the fascinating colors of the Lord Now my Bhagwan, my Vitthal, my Sri Krishna is not just present in that idol inside the temple For me, if I close my eyes it's the same Ever-blissful Atman If I open my eyes then I see the entire world as my Srirang, in form of my Lord She says that when I saw Vithoba sitting in Pandarpur Looking at him, my feeling of duality disappeared Duality means two I exist and my Bhagwan exists Journey starts from here...I am the devotee and He is my Ishwara I am his slave and he is my Master I am His dear and He is my Beloved The journey starts from here But when does this journey end? When we realize our Real Self (Atman) And then I found that Atman and Vithoba are not two but One Like Drop is small and wave is big but both are just water Similarly From the point of view of the body, the idol is separate and I am separate Sri Krishna and I are separate From the point of view of the mind, Ishwara and I are separate He is Ishwara... (with maya??) And we are with avidya (ignorance) and mind He is eternal satvaguni And we have an impure mind It's a big difference But the Chaitanya (The Conscious) behind this mind and intellect I am that Chaitanya And One who is in the foundation of maya (illusion) ????? One who we call Brahman Brahman means big Brahman means omnipresent Brahman means omnipresent One who is omnipresent That omnipresent is within me as Atman But because of not knowing this Atman The reflection of Chaitanya in this mind The 'I-ness' that gets created in this vritti of 'I' We think that 'I' is the real 'I' But what is our Real I, we don't understand that sakshi cheta kevalo nirgunascha Sri Krishna says this to Arjuna himself You are Sakshi swaroopa (the witness) kshetra-gyam chapi mam viddi sarva-kshetreshu bharata This entire world is a kshetra (field) and there is only one kshetragya (knower) in this kshetra And that One is me alone So, this 'I, I, I' that you have built up in your mind This is a reflection of that Chaitanya So, due to ignorance we consider this body to be I, this mind to be I, this intellect to be I We consider Jeeva (individual soul) to be I but we don't know our Real Self Start with having beautiful darshan of Sri Krishna, of the beautiful form of that Murali Manohar His crown adorned with peacock feather His beautiful anklet His girdle, His earrings, His crown His enchanting smile ???? If you start with that darshan Then if the mind catches hold of this beautiful sagun (with attrributes) form of Ishwara with full emotion
