I said swami ji, you are looking in pain Are you sick. He said, no I am not sick Some previous sins have come to meet this body. I am not sick. My previous sins have come by becoming disease So no complaints. Money If we talk in language of scriptures, then, coming of money can be due to some virtuous acts but sometimes coming of more money can be because of some sinful act too Now you will say how come? and that is When there was no money, then debauchery was'nt there. Money came, debauchery came. What was the reason for the man's downfall ? His money If one is poor, one is somewhat afraid If one becomes rich, one is not afraid of anyone. I will see. This attitude, will see.. I am not saying that money comes only because of sins Money can come because of virtuous acts also Now what is the difference when money When the money, wealth comes to you because of your past virtuous karma It will make you a benevolent person. It will make you a philanthropist. It will make you a great person. because you will be doing service to others. "Ghaal khaye kichh hathon de, nanak rah pachhaney se" Earn with hardwork Give one part of your earned money to the needy This is Guru Nanak's word. He is also rich But thieves and smugglers are also rich Those who run prostitution rackets drugs even they are rich There money is coming because of their sins. What acts did you do? What did you do? sin or virtuous Everything is getting stored in your unconscious mind. So So this life or any other life you have one same non changing unconscious mind with you Unconscious mind will shape up your subconscious mind. Your sub conscious mind will shape up your conscious mind Our behavior Our nature is all coming out of unconscious now the one who is greedy, you know, those who have too much greed in them, even if they leave every worldly thing and become a sadhu They will still remain greedy. You know how? I will tell you. Once I was in a gathering of saints, there were so many saints and among those saints some were of my age so there were some friendship and there were some conversation and I observed what they would do is those whoever come they would call some one aunty, they would call someone sister, some would say he is my assumed brother some tie Rakhi and some make them tie because there were male and female... both I didn't get the matter. Eith whom you had birth relations, leaving them you have become renunciate, now from where did these 'aunties' come from? It is because because they wanted to make their own ashram and to make ashram they needed money and to make money Guruji is sitting on the seat so they can't behave like a Guru so they were friendly to the people over there and they have made their own circle and from them that they had the promises that they will give them money. They made me meet so many of them. when we will make ashram... 'he will provide all the bricks' 'he will give cement', 'he will give this, he will give that' and I felt... once a beggar always a beggar greedy dog just as before. Previously used to wear pant and shirt now wearing saffron colored dhoti Kurta. Should not ask not even for religion... should not ask. Whatever power you have, do that much, power is not there, don't do it. For own survival should not ask at all. My master had said this thing to me when I left home and I had a wish to build my independent cottage because no ashram people gave me a place, if they were giving they were setting a condition that do satsang (spiritual discourse) there and I wanted to be in solitude, I just wanted to do nothing and be just with myself and no ashram would give me a free room. What to do ? Then after four years of traveling I came to this conclusion that I have to have my own independent small place and only then I can do what I want to do. I said to Maharaj ji, that I am thinking like this He said, Very good, fine, do like this only But he warned me 30 years ago, 30 years ago, he said this to me. He said, Don't go for marbles that you have to place marbles in your place. Just make a simple room and sit in that and never ask it from anybody. No monetary help from anybody I was insolent already on this matter. Nothing from anyone. Today will take from you tomorrow have to give in return. Today will take from you tomorrow have to return to you. I don't have to keep this account of karma with you. I was previously, already practicing this so it was not difficult for me and this is one reason even after so many years, not a single person can say that Gurumaa asked money from me or any help from me or Gurumaa said you get me or buy me something. Never, Never The account of karma is built up from here. If you take something then you have to give it back. You can't access the unconscious mind. You don't know much about sub-conscious mind and your consciousness mind always runs in the world. So the condition is not good then. The condition is not good. Let's move forward in between the unconscious, the sub-conscious and the conscious there is one state more that is called the semi-conscious mind when the mind is partially conscious Talking to someone but thinking about something else. neither you live completely in conscious mind nor your mind is completely in sub-conscious mind, in between it is stuck always. That is why they are speaking and thinking something else. Working, thinking something else. Some other thought is running and something else is being done. That is why the work goes on wrong. In conscious mind works are learnt and they happens to be good. Sub-conscious is store. All memories, all thoughts are stored there, No problem sometimes old junk can also be of use. Do you understand junk? Waste. Sometimes it is also of use. Old waste paper is also of use. That is why if you keep then no problem. sub-conscious mind is that store where everything is lying. I am making you listen an interesting story. I had stayed at Solan for around two years. There one day I got to know that there Swami Krishnananda ji is coming. Name All swamis are like this... Krishnananda, Purnananda, nand nand keeps going. Okay Someone might be. When he came and when I saw his face aah !! satsang happened, it was a conference. I had to speak, he also had to speak. After satsang I went to meet him in his room and Those days I used to wear white clothes. Salwar Kameez I was not looking like a renunciate from anywhere and it's good also. I asked him, "How are you? I am very happy meeting you." He said, But I haven't met before. I said, No you have met. He said, when ? I said, in Amritsar He said, when ? I said, you in 1970 you had come to Amritsar to Sarita ji's home. Near Shivalay temple you had come home, kirtan took place he had to take two minutes to think. Oho..oh yes yes yes Oh you were also there?" Then he felt she doesn't seems that big Were you there? I said yes I said, I was three years old then, I was in mother's lap. You had come to do kirtan there and his uniqueness was that he used to dance very much he was Krishna's devotee and he used to dance very much and it used to be part of kirtan where he used to keep a brass bucket, he used to knees..he used to dance by standing, while dancing he used to press the bucket in between his knees... like this and like how the Gopi is milking the cow, that acting along with it, very carefree saint. Very carefree, used to do like Gopi is milking the cow and she has forgotten and all his milk falls down. Like this, he used to sing bhajan and used to dance. When I made him remember all events, then he, he was kind of tensed. I said, see my body was of a three year old child then, now it has grown up, of 22 years so how will you recognize me but in your face only difference is that previously your beard was little black now it has become more white. But he was so happy because he was his very beloved devotee and when he remembered good things so he was very happy. I was there he didn't recognize because the body had changed and do you know sometimes sometimes people of changed births can also be recognized.
