Baakih wala talbiye... sirr maare jandar jiyo... lekha mange devna, pucche kar vichar jeeyo|| We may do as many karmas, thinking who will hold us accountable? But, you forgot, the one who'll hold you accountable is right within you. He will hold you accountable, and you have to answer him. And thoughtfully, it will be asked from you. "Tau sache ki liv ubrai... Bakshe bakshanhaar jiyo"... Be truthful... be imbued with the Eternal Name... Be the one filled with Lord's love... Seek shelter in thy holy feet, then you'll be uplifted Uplifted means... there is one who gets drowned... The other floats One gets drowned, another swims across.... "Nadar prabhu tai chhuttiye..." "Nadri mel milaaye jiyo..." Your sight has forsaken the Lord... Bring it back unto Him... The sight which is beholding the world, bring back this vision. Retreat it from the Samsara And take it within yourself. Because, as long as you don't see Him inside until then, the Brahm is omnipresent; this won't ever get experienced. "Gaafal Gyaan vihunya, Gur bin gyaan na bhaal jiyo" || Gaafal refers to the unconscious one. Oh, unconscious man, without the Guru, you're trying to discover true wisdom, how would you find it? "Khinchoh taan viguchiye... bura bhala doye naal jiyo" || We get so entangled in karma that, at times, a sin tightens the noose on us, other times, it is the virtuous deeds which do the same... At times, pleasure makes us ignoramus, at other times, sorrow breaks us down. This tug of war continues... "Bin sabde bhaya ratya... sab johi jam kaal jiyo"|| Time will eat up everyone... This "Time" won't spare anyone- whether sinful, virtuous, elderly or young, healthy or diseased... The Kala doesn't spare anyone. Time never leaves anyone. So, do not forget this that before the end of your lifetime, we need to achieve this awakening within us... When you die, others would say, "He left but created a great house! He settled his kids well!" Well, people are saying... Okay, nothing could happen and you died. Then people would say, "Well, all remains to be done and he has died!" It's a statement that people will make. A widow was saying to me, "Until my husband was alive, I didn't have this much money! He never gave! "And, as he died, a part of the estate was sold. And now I've so much money that I never had this much money in my life!" She said, "Though, he was great, but I am just saying a thing!" I said, "You're saying a big thing!" She said, "When he was alive, I had nothing in my pocket! Now, I've so much money, I may do whatever I want to!" And she said to me, "Your Birth Day is approaching. I want to give you something!" "Please take something good!" I said, "The best thing in the world, I've already taken that. Apart from that, there's nothing good!" "That's why I can't buy anything else!" She said, "Please choose something you like, I'll feel so happy!" I said, "That, which is" "the best, that can't be bought with money." "Whether more or less, doesn't matters at all!" "Jin kar kaaran dhareya, sabse de adhaar jiyo..." "So kyo mano visaariye, sada sada dataar jiyo" || The One who has held us, how can we be separated from Him? How can we forsake Him? "Nanak naam na visre, nidhaaran adhaar jiyo"|| The one who has no shelter, the Lord is even his shelter... Now, think.. If this thing settles down in your mind that the shelter of shelter-less is the Lord himself, then ever in life, if you feel that we are alone, we're sick, we're in pain, no one is there to help us... then don't sit and cry. Remember this line, "Nidhaaran adhaar jiyo||" The shelter of the one without a shelter is the Lord himself! The entire world may forsake you, your own family may resent and leave you alone, then also, how does it matter until my Lord is with me, until my Almighty is with me... we can never be alone, never be weak, never be helpless! "Range ka kya rangiye..." The one that is already colored... After narrating a little thing, then, I will sing the shabad. A sage used to visit our home. He was a householder. We used to address him as "Maharaj Ji". Once Maharaj ji was asked, "Maharaj Ji, very delectable 'na-rangi' (not-colored fruit) is there, shall we bring it for you?" "Would you like to have it?" He answered, "Why to consume that which never got colored (in His love)?!" Na-rangi-That one which didn't get imbued in color. "Why to eat that? If you want to offer me, then offer me a 'sant-ra' (sang-tara; orange)!" Sang-Tara... Sang- Associated. Taraa- The one who got salvation, the one who got moksha by being associated with some Gyani Guru. -San-Taraa... The meaning he derived... Sang-taraa... The one, being with whom he got salvation. He said, "I can eat sang-tara, but I won't eat a na-rangi!" I was a kid, very young, but this much I could get even at that time, that how beautifully he has said! He said, "Na-rangi, those who don't get imbued in his color," "I don't keep an association with them. So, give me not na-rangi, but san-taraa!" Very sweet, meanings... Sages have a specialty that they have very deep understanding of the knowledge of the words... And they comprehend every word in its depth and the spiritual color of what it means that they bring out of it, that is unparalleled! So, now, let's listen to the shabad. [Music] What to color those who're already imbued in His love, I plea? Serve the one who has imbued you in His color... Serve the one who has imbued you in his color... Join your heart with that Truthful One, I plea! What to color the imbued ones...What to color those who're already imbued in His love? I plea... The color of the safflower will wash out, it stays for just a few days, I plea... Without the True Name, he is deluded in illusion which has robbed him forcefully to make him false person... I plea... The one who is imbued in love of the True One... The one who is imbued in love of the True One... he need not be born again... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued...? What to color the one who is already imbued...in the color of His love? I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... [Music] One may wander in all the four directions; without great fortune; he finds nothing... Holding tight to demerits, they (worldly beings) have been deluded by their own ignorance... I plea... The ones that the Guru keeps with Him, they are uplifted... The ones that the Guru keeps with Him, they are uplifted.. colored in the love of the 'word' in their minds... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... [Music] So what if they have white clothes, the sullied subconscious has made them cold... I plea... In their mouths, the 'True Name' never gets created, secondly they have become thieves... I plea... They never comprehend their origin... They never comprehend their origin... They are animals, they're illiterate... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... Every moment the mind revels in joy, every moment, the mind asks for pleasure... I plea... The creator is never remembered in the subconscious; time and again, he gets only sorrow... I plea... When the bliss-giver resides in the mind, then why would this soul-bride feel bereft? I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued...? [Music] He is held accountable by the god of death, He has to give an account of his actions through a thoughtful discussion... I plea... The undisturbed contemplation of the True One can carry him across... The undisturbed contemplation of the True One can carry him across... The merciful one bestows mercy... I plea... If you befriend any other than Him... If you befriend any other than Him, you'll turn to dust and fall prey to death... I plea... Seeing the various hues, he forgets... In this illusion, he comes and goes (in this world), I plea... Your sight is not focused onto the Lord. Return your sight's focus towards the Lord... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued...? [Music] Oh, forgetful one, without True Wisdom! Do not look for True Wisdom without the Guru... I plea... The ties of sinful and virtuous actions keep playing the tug-of-war to delude further... I plea... Without the Eternal Word, one is colored in fear... Without the Eternal Word, he is colored in fear... everything will be retrieved in the moment of death... I plea... Everything will be retrieved in the moment of death... I plea... The One who created the reason for you to be created... The One who created the reason for you to be created... is the substratum of everyone... I plea... Why should we forget Him from our minds, the one who is the ever bountiful Lord...? I plea... Oh Nanak, may you never forget the Eternal Name! Oh Nanak, may you never forget the Eternal Name, which gives shelter to those who have no one to call their own... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea... Serve the one who has imbued you in this color of divine love... Serve the one who has imbued you in this color of divine love... Join your subconscious with the True One... I plea... What to color the one who is already imbued in the color of His love? I plea...
