Plainly put- Human beings are not seeking the Lord This is the truth if we see it straight way no one is looking for the Lord someone is searching for food, someone is looking for the wealth someone is searching for a job, someone a girl someone is searching for a house someone is searching for clothes, others are looking for jewellery someone is searching for things to eat someone is looking for the means to earn money and someone to loot other's money how to set it all up, this is what one is going about thinking but who is there in the world who is searching for the Paramatama more over made in the name of Lord those who are going at the religious places they too are not searching for the Lord there they go to Vrindavan not because they want Krishna but because they want something from the Krishna he goes to the abode of Shankar ji Amarnath, Kedarnath or to any Jyotir Lingam (symbol of Shiva) they do not go there because they wish to meet Mahadev they go because Mahadev is a generous giver whatever one asks for, He shall give those who are going to the Gurudwars, they go there and they are not searching for the Guru there, what they can get from the Guru they go to search for that there who is searching for the Lord? Nobody! so those who do not visit the Lords's abode, they are not searching for Him those who are going, they are not looking for Him either in Kanpur (city) this is an incident from the year '94 1994 someone invited me over to their place that please come to our house, grace it with thy lotus feet, with love they invited over for tea My discourse used to be in the morning so I said okay let's go very nice tea they served, offered food and when it was time to leave in a bowl........ some rice they brought and said take this I said I do not accept uncooked offering Do you understand uncooked offering raw rice and pulses people give some people follow the rule of cooking themselves they do not accept cooked food I didn't understand, I had eaten what was offered now it was time to leave, why is she giving raw rice so I asked when you don't understand then ask! I asked; what shall I do with this? they said you take it in your hands and when you move outside then like this throw it backwards this I had never heard before I asked, why so? they said this house will then remain filled with food With your divine grace, in this house there will always be plenty of grain and rice I said, Wow! in exchange of one sweet and one Samosa (savoury snack) you are taking an assurance from me to have plenty full food for your entire life this is a true incident, to date I remember the menu too I cannot forget it one Samosa, one Barfi (sweet) and a cup of tea and for a life time there should be no shortage of food in our house I said, see, by my doing so nothing will happen, they said, no, we know it will happen it will happen you just do it but I said what I do not believe in how can I do that thing? so the lady nearly stood in the door way like this I felt as if now she would say, then take out and return our Samosas because the way she stopped me... I was like, she will not let me leave no not like this! look, you are listening to discourses See, in the society, all types of, different varieties of Baba's & Guru's are active They were prevalent then; They are prevalent today as well I am in this field for last 35 years and seen many coming Many established a big name for themselves the entire world went behind them and then someone new comes and people forget them then they catch someone new then something untoward happens, some scam some scandal happens some this some that happens So, I see! you are listening to discourses have I ever said in my discourse that I gave someone this and this happened for them now 'this' is a fill in the blank- fill it yourself gave flowers, gave cardamom I understand this... tomorrow if a Baba comes & says, he will hit you in the face with a shoe and your wish will be fulfilled then people will queue up to get hit by his shoe today you give money and ask a question then in answer to the question whatever they say you accept it to be true and come home but me, in this whole life of mine never from any stage or in anybody's house even while sitting alone I have never said this. I do not speak of the world if someone tells me that these days my shop is not doing well it is becoming very troublesome, I will listen to them If someone is very disturbed, I will say, now you are working hard what is in your destiny you will get that do not step back from doing the hard work and what is there, learn to accept and live with it Samadukheshu Sukhkeshu my preaching is this only Geeta also teaches the same Gurubani also teaches this They teach perseverance They teach patience be it difficult times or easy times however the time may be, and time does not always remain same but even after listening to this, those who expect me to spread grains of rice similarly this second incident too is from Kanpur they took me to a house and there too there was some arrangement for evening tea I went in the evening and as I got up to leave, all those people too stood up and the lady took out a 100 rupee note and I saw that she made everyone from the smallest to the oldest member of the family touch it I could just watch, it was her note, her hand; Whatever she wishes to do, she can do, it was her house too! then she gave me that INR 100 rupee note Did Pranam than I asked that lady what was this that happened before she said no, let everyone touch it now letting everyone touch it, meaning grandson, paternal uncle,maternal uncle, uncle's son the daughter in law, the younger daughter in law the middle one, all the three sons her husband, her mother-in-law and her father-in-law all touched it, meaning everybody's sorrows and ailments you take and give blessing of good health to everyone so they called me for what? Even no insurance company does this that in one scheme, the entire family tree ( is covered)...... that you give one check and the whole family tree's insurance is covered; it doesn't work this way now that 100 rupees that she placed in front of me, I am seeing that so in that someones, Blood Pressure, someone's fever, someones's Diabetes someones's stroke, someones this, that, diseases that are going to occur, or those that are there that whole list of diseases I could see in that she said take it, I said no, thank you! I cannot take this how do I take such a heavy load one goes to the temple but has nothing to do with the Lord goes to the Sant but has nothing to do with the Sant so what's the purpose only ones' own body with the indulgences of the body with the comforts of the body and what is the body? it is destructible or indestructible? is it going to last or perish? is it the house of joy or sorrow? see however no matter how much you may care for this body however beautiful you may make it one, this will not remain beautiful two- it becomes diseased three- it dies this is the nature of the body to age to grow to become frail and to die everything made of the five elements of nature follow this pattern this flower when it was not a flower, what was it? dust/earth! then from the earth the seed sprouts and grows to become a plant the buds came out, then they became flowers then that flower someone plucked, someone made a garland out of it and it came to me then I took delight and joy from it if it is left for 5-6 days, it will wither away it will rot then what will be done then it will be put it back in the earth/dust look, how these flowers are whether they are offered in the temple or the Gurudwara if they are offered at some good place then all those flowers if you want, you can crush and dry them and keep them at home like this rose let me give you a formula like rose if you find a garland so then take out the roses dry it's petals and in equal quantity, add grounded sugar candy to it add some sugar syrup store in a closed glass jar leave it out in the sun, in 15-20 days you will have Guluknad recycle it when you eat this Gulukand and Gulukand made of roses is very good but when you eat Gulukand what will become of that Gulukand what will be formed out of that Gulukand? that which you do not even wish to take the name of right now poop only it will become nature creates beautiful things and man uses these beautiful things made by nature and after using it what does man make out of it? Vishtha (poop) where does poop go? back into the earth so from the earth it was formed and it goes back to dust so first the seed grows then from the seed grow vegetables fruits, flowers then it degrades Right? it disintegrates then we put it back into the earth then after some time again, it becomes one with the earth So this is a cycle, similarly this body of yours what is it made of? it is made of food it is made from the Annamayi kosha (food element) Anna meaning pulses, vegetables fruits, milk your parents ate due to which semen was formed in the body of a man egg was formed in the mother's body and when the man and the woman consummate then the conception happened and from this conception, a baby is born then after nine months it came out then again, what's helping it grow? mother's milk where did the milk come from? from the cow or buffalo where did the cow or buffalo come from? their cycle too is the same. they too are formed from the union of a male and female what was in the body of the male and female in their bodies too was food then from body made from food, the human being was created and through food, this body was nurtured while eating lentil, rice and a mix of it the body grew while eating Puri, Paratha, this body expanded and with time, what happened? It begins to wither how well the eyes could see in during the childhood 40..... 30 years by the time one crosses this age, they begin to weaken and see less cross 60, by the time one touches 65, ears begin to hear less joints don't function properly gradually, the body begins to wither and then in this withering body diseases catch up and then due to any one disease, the body reaches it's end when it dies what do we do? place it on the pyre light the fire and in a few hours the whole body, what happens to it ? dust (ash) what does it become? dust again from those ashes a few bones you collect the family will collect and some will take it to the Ganges to be floated in Haridwar or some will carry it to Kiratpur sahib to float it in the river so from earth the and from food, the body which grew, what does it again merge in to again goes back to earth, back to the water and the fire speeds up this process you don't burn it, just bury it if you bury the body then what has to happen in a few hours that process will take years then too the bones will remain even then the bones will remain this one life is very precious, do not waste it as much as possible, make the most of it search for the Lord understand Lord- this will not happen again and again those who understood thought this would happen just once then with time, this became a popular belief that there is only one life So this body comes from the food with food it is nurtured and merges back in to earth and the five elements right! this is the cycle of the body
