अमृतबिंदु उपनिषद् - अमरत्व की एक बूँद lAV Ep 1586 l Daily Satsang l 24th June 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

okay, tell me one thing did your mind get somewhat engaged in the bhajan? He said, except the name of the Lord no other word could reach the tongue- either I was asking for forgiveness or Rama-Rama chanting used to happen; third thing didn't come The Mahatma says, "Okay, now do you have that paper which you had brought to me" He said, "I have forgotten about it"... The Mahatma said, "son you had left here, it's with me" now read, what was your question in here first question was this only that how do I remove the greed? second was how does the pride goes away? third was how is the worldly attachment removed? fourth was why we are unable to remember the Lord? The Mahatma said, "Son, I have given you the practical answer" the one who can only be corrected through the sticks, they should be made to listen I said it today morning itself The stick of that 'Stick Swami' or the leg beatings don't necessarily be physical but at some places, doing such things practically seem correct so our great Mahatmas have given extensive description about dispassion Prahalad ji said it so many times, "I am so happy about Mahapurush...", so I was doubting my gender but you are not alone such things happen with me wherever I go, I need to become Mahapurush, what shall I do? I keep on listening and laughing well, if I say it from the perspective of the Shastras- our sacred scriptures, 'Pur' is used for state; country The one who is the Swami (lord) of that Pur (country) He is called Purush Purush (often used for a male) is not a gender though so the conscious jeevatma who is in city of this body, he is called Purush so see with that respect to that I am justifying A great atman, whose intellect, whose understanding is effulgent, is beautiful, is lovely the one who has realised his true Self the thing is this much only The one who has not realised the true Self he only has ignorance, and in that ignorance, he keeps wandering- there is fear there is suffering, there is sorrow, there is attachment, there is grief and how will this ignorance go? so in Amrit Bindu Upanishad, it has come in this shloka that During prayer- it is said right in the "Mangalacharan" itself "Bhadram Karnebhih" what should I listen through my ears? 'Shrnnuyaama'- What should I listen? listen to Your description; what should I see through these eyes? through these eyes, I only see that which is pure and in this entire world, nothing is more pious than having Darshan of a Mahatma like, to remove your physical ailments etc it is necessary to have a doctor- so everyone has a family doctor they say, "if some disease happens to us then he is our doctor" so like it is necessary to have a doctor similarly, it is necessary to have Guru in life doctor can give medicines for diseases but he also doesn't have the medicine for the disease akin to death and this doctor also doesn't has the cure for the disease of ignorance so to have a Sadguru... 'Sad' and 'Guru'- these are two words Guru means whose illuminance of intellect has fallen on that 'Sad'- the ultimate truth. and the truth is not outside you; it's not separated from you; not far from you- this is the first thing to be understood I have said it so many times that an idol is not the Lord but they evoke the remembrance of Mahapurush as it is hard for a child to understand this he can't understand subtle and abstract things hence we need to use symbolism and many times ago, in this Bharatvarsh, as many ancient temples as you see- they are very huge temples and inside temple, there is this much Shiv pindi- means the Shiv Pindi of palm's length- there is no door What sort of temple it is? and this used to be in symbolic form what is this symbol? like the symbol of oxygen is 'O' symbol of water is 'H2O' so the symbol of that infinite Paramatma would be this Pinda- there is no beginning, no end, no eyes, no ears, no face, no hand, no legs neither one has to make Him sleep or awake Him it is a symbol and temples used to be the places to turn the mind inwards like the place to eat food is kitchen place for sleeping is bedroom similarly where should we sit to go within us? temple is the place which takes the mind inwards where saints used to sit, where discourse used to happen where discussions of wisdom used to happen where sittings of Satsangs used to happen we called that the place of Dharma There is a big part of Karma Kaand and for that Karma Kaand whatever used to be the necessities if we see their origin so I am taking you long back that Shevtaketu was told by his sage father he had studied at Gurukul, he returned back home at the age of 25 years he had entirely read the four Vedas he came with all pride that father understood from his walk itself that he had gone to gain wisdom but he has returned after gathering some ignorance and he told him, "Shevtaketu, we don't become Brahmin by birth" when we realize the Brahman, then we become Brahmins now you are Shudra, Shudra means the one who is attached to body who is immersed in indulgence and objects so Go...Go and return after becoming a Brahmin did you know Him, after knowing whom nothing is left to know Shvetaketu said, "I read Rig veda, Sama veda, Yajur Veda, Atharva veda" But I didn't hear this anywhere I don't know....what you are saying, respected father he says, "without acquiring the true wisdom, without knowing Brahman, you are not Brahmin, so go back again and when you acquire Brahmatwa, then return" so the pride which he had brought along, it got shattered into pieces see, Bharat is a very ancient culture Unesco had said, a research of whole world, whole globe was done on this earth in total, there have been total of 45 cultures, if we calculate in Africa, Asia, Europe Asia minor- if add up all these, South America, North America All these tribes- when the history of all was checked then 45.. there were 45 civilisation in those 45 civilisations today, there is no name of Egyptian civilization, Roman civilization many of them...there is complete list but the Sanatan culture running in Bharat is still continuing It is ancient of all in China, the Upanishadic wisdom that was there in China, it is called Tao Tao or confucius; in Japan it's Tao but with time with increase in Communism in China, today all those Sciences which were there of spiritualism they aren't left anymore- only some temples are remaining, Bodh temples I had gone to China two/three years before so Sanghai and Beijing, Laiwang- I went to all these cities there are a few Bodh temples there. It's only the Bharata where this tradition on absolute wisdom is left and this is a great fortune of all of us that we are born in the same country- Bharata born in that country. Ved means Vid, 'Vid' means wisdom and Veda is made from element of Vid, wisdom- wisdom of what? of true self, of Parmatma, of the world, of Jeeva I had said yesterday only, when it comes to God and Goddess yesterday I mentioned about Indra, Sun of eyes, ears, Lord of eyes, lord of ears when the absolute wisdom was lost then people thought some deity is there in sky who governs our eyes and lord Indra makes rainfall and he had said baho Indraha Indra is in our arms, the power through which our arms function that is Indra the name of that power is Indra the power through which your eyes see, it's name is Sun so when they were unable to catch the depth of that wisdom then what is left? Only rituals are left so now ring the bell; they won't ring the bell of intelligence, but will be ringing the one outside I remember, once many years ago I had chance to visit Mumbai for the first time The home where I stayed, he was from Rajasthan he was Rajput, so two rooms small flat was there in Milund so that person bathed in bathroom, has worn vest and has wrapped towel so he lit the scented sticks and the way he ranged bell, at least 50 photos were hanged of Gopal, of Goddess, of him, of her, of Rama, of Krishna he used to ring bell so loudly in front of each photo that I felt some goddess will come out and slap him he kept on doing it for about one hour and after that he got down see then I was not in this attire neither I had such recognition, with someone I had to go there for some reason so that person then got down and then he lit the scented stick of his mouth, are you getting? means cigarette then he kept moving his head, perhaps he was doing his own arati so first he did this side, then that side this much....nothing more than this to whom you say Saraswati now when they didn't understand, they made an idol outside but Yoga give its answer the particular nerve which makes your speech happen that energy is called Saraswati it has nothing to do with any Goddess outside speech happens through this power Yogis had named that power as Saraswati but in the absence of wisdom they forgot the powers present within then it became Prapanch- the play of five elements outside and without knowing, without understanding, without guessing man remained left out, so you think and see it becomes difficult to calculate that how ancient the science of spiritualism has been flowing in this country and in the same flow, there are Bodh, Jain, Sikh, Arya Samaji everyone is there, Jains said, "Lord doesn't exists, only atma exists" no problem, its alright Buddha said, "Neither there is Atma nor Parmatama, everything is zero" Buddha spent all his life period in Vaishali Nagar means, he spent his entire life in the regions of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh No problem, a saint was there whose name was Charavaka he said, only four elements exist, there is no heaven and hell there is no God- his neck was not cut It's okay- whatever you think, say it this much freedom is there in this country it has been there, always there has been freedom, always Namdev ji Maharaj says in Maharashtra remember he was devotee of Vittha (Vishu Avatar) from childhood and then he comes and says, "jo ye murat saachi hai to gharanhaar ko khao" The rock was craved by placing it between between the two legs if the idol is real, so the who has kept feet on its chest (while carving it) why didn't it kill that craftsman first? At one time, he was an idol worshiper he was devotee- I have that bhajan also where he sings he offers bhog to his Lord he worships him as Lord and again he is the same Namdev who...now many people don't know this the Guru of Namdeva was a female sage- Muktabai from Muktabai he got prasad of Brahmavidya and then he realised that the One who was in every mind, I had confined him in an idol then that Namdeva ji would say- "Sabe ghat Ram bole, Rama Bole, Rama Bina Ko Bole Re" Rama speaks through all It's the Rama who says it all; nobody else but only the Rama talks so in Maharashtra, Sant Namadeva is there there is Gyaneswara, Nivritinath here in Uttar Pradesh, if we see Kabir Sahib, Rehdas Sahib, Sadna ji are there. Take a look at the Rajasthan there is Dhana Bhagat, there is Meerabai Ji how wonderful this country is! how wonderful the tradition of this country is there are different traditions of Sants- be it the Paltu Sahib I think of Paltu Sahib in 1989 or 1990, in KanpurI had done satsang continuously on Paltu ji after that the shivir that was there of Haridwar there also I sang Bani of Paltu Sahib Back then, no video recording used to be there so there is no remainder of that but see the Bani of Paltu Sahib see the Bani of Rajjab so by making Yoga and sankhya as their base, all of them they give emphasis on meditation and emphasise on diving deep within Vedanta and Sankhya and Yoga I always say, these three are distant cousins they are complementary to one another
