अमृतबिंदु उपनिषद् - अमरत्व की एक बूँद lAV Ep 1625 l Daily Satsang l 2nd Aug 22 Anandmurti Gurumaa

That's why it is said that may all my body parts be strong, my body be healthy The body was healthy, eyes were well too, ears were listening fine as well, accident happened and the person died The lifespan was less What to do? That's why lifespan should also be long Long means that one gets at least this much time that by removing the obstacles in the path of Gyana, sitting near the Guru, listens to the words of wisdom do contemplation, Nidhidhyasan— is able to do at least this much work— that's why this body's health is important and having a long lifespan is also necessary Swami Buaji used to say this Daily after Asanas, while relaxing in Shavasana that May this body should be healthy May this body should be healthy disease free, let my body be diseased free The body is there but it is ill, what will one do? that's why disease shouldn't be Okay, there is no disease but one should have vigour-health, that is another thing the spark in the eyes that comes, In morning he wakes up as if he's drunk on the ambrosial nectar of eternity, Come on, let's do this; let's do that and some people wakes up like eyes are not opening, two minutes more.. just two minutes of sleep and an hour passes by Sleep is not complete There will be laziness when sleep won't get complete and how will he do Yogasanas in lethargy Someone was saying to me, "Nowadays, it is too hot; will do Asanas once it gets better then said, "it's raining too much" "we'll start after rainy season passes" and few days back he said, "It's too cold, Oh!" remove jacket, remove socks— in this dead cold when the cold will subside, then will do Asanas. Do it! Nothing can be done for such people The body is there but no zing in it The body, the life should have a zing, the zing to do to do your sadhna, so there is no place for inertia There is no place for laziness, there is no place for making excuses that I cannot do because of this, because of that; Don't create those millions of reasons! so word 'svasth' means totally established in your inner being, and totally healthy and spirited and ready to gallop like a horse, healthy like a horse Have you ever seen a healthy horse running? Such a beautiful scene to witness! One should have such a strength— like there's horse power is in cars, in planes- Horse power! So how much horse power is there in your body? I was going through a book of Paltu ji, there was one verse as— 'A head that doesn't bows down to the Master that head is akin to a pumpkin' 'Head which doesn't bow down to Master' 'The head that doesn't bows down to the Master is akin to a pumpkin' Such a pumpkin should be cut— make a dish out of it and eat and tell it to everyone— It was so good! As the brain was unused all the while! If one doesn't have any intelligence so, 'the head which doesn't bow down to the master is like a pumpkin' A healthy hearty spirited, like you look into the eyes of the kids! Children when they sleep, they sleep so well And as soon as they wake up, they create the ruckus in the whole house Like this running, running and running.. The onlookers get headaches, 'Oh pls sit down now !' They start all over again! Running running and running. From where is this strength coming from? The body should be this spirited The prayer which the Rishi is doing, I feel that all should do this prayer daily For the health of senses, and for the health of the body etc., it is very highly imperative Now we are move into today's Shloka Gyana-netram samadaya cha- uddharet vahnivat param nishkalam nishchalam shantam tad brahmaham iti smritam This example is of- Arani- In ancient times square sticks of wood would be made in which they would keep a wooden staff and with a robe that would be churned They would keep a small piece of cotton beneath it and when this churning would happen then the spark of fire would be created would get created after a time because of this churning and then this cotton will catch that fire and then with this fire they would do the Homa— the sacred fire ritual practised in Vedic Dharma because in old days they never had a matchbox or a lighter Arani They say like in Arani Meaning that the square frame that is there- in that they keep a wooden staff for churning purpose and with a robe they...I have seen this I was staying in an Ashram in Rishikesh, this is in 1983 and they were having this 'Yajna' in their courtyard so some of their brahmcharis, they created this fire and what happened was, it was summer time everyone began sweating profously, but now they can't stop, so they kept on pulling the rope and a this much small cotton is placed beneath it and it caught fire and as soon as the cotton caught a little fire immediately then they put a small piece of wood and some Ghee- the clarified butter—this is how the fire is ignited and then this is how with it they would do the Yajna Rishi is saying that churn your mind akin to the Arani, with the staff of Gyana- the eternal wisdom Churn it with the staff of Gyana, 'Gyana netram samadhyae' This is the rope of Viveka— discerning wisdom Which understanding? The one that is of the Gyana Which one? The one with the Viveka— with this rope of Viveka You inside yourself— 'cha udhreta van hi vaat param' then you, churn inside of your Antahkarana (combination of mind, intellect, chitta, false ego-self) with this staff of Gyana Meaning? Do contemplation While churning, the rope is pulled again and again, similarly they are saying pull the rope of contemplation, of Gyana in your mind pondering upon, contemplating again and again Through different arguments and techniques, ponder over it again and again 'Who am I'? 'Koham, koham, kohan..' and then 'Soham, soham' Now Who is 'So' and who is 'Aham'? Both have to be understood Somebody went to a mystic and he said, 'I went to meet God' The Master said 'Write down this statement on a paper', He wrote- 'I want to meet God' Mystic said, cut down the word 'want' then cut down the word 'meet' then cut down the word 'I' then cut down the word 'God' then what will happen? Do it He said now nothing is left Master said, that's what I am saying; Don't create this want! Know who is this 'I' and know who is this God so once you remove the want and you know what is 'I' and what is God then there's nothing left to meet Who will meet whom? If the Lord is far then we can go and reach to him Kailash, is far You won't go there by walking; First fly by plane, then in bus, then in car, then by walk Total journey of 28 Kilometres— One went to Kailash For Darshan. I always ask this from everyone, 'Did you meet Shiv ji'? They said, 'No, haven't met him' 'But he lives there only', I said, 'But He didn't meet you' 'We are not fortunate enough' I said, 'Well, then make yourself that fortunate' and how is that made? By doing Sadhna, that you don't do, then you went there and came back after hitting your head in a stone? Dear! if you would have done your Sadhna here only then something might have happened! But is the Lord somewhere far? Where should we go walking? He is not far. Okay, will Lord be somewhere? Okay, if He will be there in some point of time, where He will be then? Yesterday I read a board We went to someone's place, the board was placed right opposite of their home, The board read-'The Lord is about to come' 'Lord is coming', 'Sri Krishna is coming', 'Satyayuga is also coming' So you immediately come inside and become our disciple and then we will reveal the whole story to you that how when and where it is going to happen? I strongly felt like going in and ask them From where is He coming? In which form is He coming? How did you get to know? Did you receive any WhatsApp for the same? How do you know? 'The Lord is coming!' From where? The poet says: 'What sort of a Lord is He who stays away from his devotees'? Will we consider him Lord? What sort of a God is he if he stays away from his devotees, that which is not, that which doesn't exist now is not the Lord! that which is not, that which is not in front, which doesn't exist now, we don't even consider that as Lord 'The Lord has sent'- From where? He lives somewhere up there Our Chandrayaan (India's space mission to Moon) is going again! This time, it will take people along— Do you know that? I strongly feel like saying this to Modi Ji, that 'Please send me along too' Maybe, we might find the Lord somewhere up there! If I'm able to see Him, I'll definitely click and bring the photo of Him along on my way back But we know what is the reality? However, it is difficult to make you understand. You don't understand even through listening and I here am saying, 'We know what the reality is but is difficult to make others understand' How do I make people understand? in which there is no conflict, that is Lord that which has no dirt, that is Paramatma that which is tranquil is the Lord 'Tad Brahma'- That is Brahma; 'Aham iti smritam' That is me only— remember this O dear one! 'Tad Brahma' 'Tad' That is like this Brahma means The One which is devoid of conflict; that which is the absolute existence the endless, boundary-less 'Aham iti' - I am that very Brahma 'Smritam'— Understand thing, know this thing Everybody says that 'He (Lord) is omnipresent' Nobody says that the Lord exist in only one place The one with even a minuscule wisdom can't say that the Lord exists in one place, he'll say that the Lord is all-pervasive but the one who says, "He lives only here" "He lives only in this building", that person doesn't know He doesn't know! So we have to believe, we have to say that the Paramatma is all- pervasive, He's in the whole universe. He's in everyone. Okay, my question is—The One who is exists everywhere, is He there in you or not? Okay, He is in you— Does it mean, like right now I'm holding this box in my hand— So this is you as box, and is the Lord inside you like this? If yes, then there's a problem, do you know why? because anything that my hand can lift, that object has to be smaller than my hand Can we lift elephant in this hand? Tell me! I believe that you have great faith in me, so you can make big statements A few days back, an old lady came to see me She held onto my feet, and I was trying to free myself but she wasn't leaving and she was crying I asked her, "why are you crying?" She said, "you are all-knowing", I said, "No, I'm not" She said, "No, you are!" I said, "I'm not"— No, you are, I said I'm not She shouted and cried again, "You are", I said, "I'm not" This program went for so long, I got my my feet freed after a lot of hardship! She banged her head on my feet, it kept hurting for a long time If I'm not then I'm not! Listen carefully, the Lord is within me when you say that, then is it like this box is in my hand? We can say, right... but since this box is smaller than my hand that's why it is held in it Can I take this chair in my hand? can you do it? but if I give you this box, then? That which is smaller than hands, it can be placed in hands; That which is bigger than the hand, that cannot be held. You say Lord is in me— then is the Lord smaller that you that He is in you? You people speak without thinking then, right? Use some brain Lord is in me.. Lord is in me.. Lord is in me So you became Lord of the Lord since you have kept the Lord inside you
