the question is why is sat (truth) so difficult? and why is asat (untruth) so so alluring? till the time mind is caught between duality of truth and untruth this dilemma will be there why? man says why? this girl who has asked this question she has lived in England worked in England lived independently, worked hard and one day some conversation was taking place about liquor so I asked her, how much did you drink? she said um........ I asked, how many pegs were you used to drinking? she said what is a peg? ask about bottle one or two? that will be a good question so at the time, when, going to the bar with friends roaming around, eating, drinking, parties boyfriends dating shopping restaurants what a fun! then it was what a fun! who will deny that, that's not fun and entertaining will you say it is not fun okay time changed so then the body became a bit unwell became sick and, became a bit wiser realized that because of doing what should not have been done as a result the body had become unwell and then listening to my discourses, began to think what is there in the world? everything is untrue all of it is just an illusion for years what she thought was bliss and indulged in it after which the mind was running the one that it madly desired that same world the wise one calls a house of sorrows it is a place for illness, sorrow and attachment and from the point of view of Vedanta it is just an illusion, not asat (untrue) it is termed as illusion now this mind that is filled with ignorance it says, such joy, happiness and you say it is bad? How is it bad? out of hundred ninety nine percent of beings are caught up in that dazzle, eat and drink mode desiring it and running after it how can that be wrong? That is why people listen to discourses of sant but say 'what do these poor people know' they probably may not have got much in life how do they know I recall an incident this body was about 21 years old I had already left my home, was free would roam freely and meet such people who lived the life of a sadhu (hermit) so, in Chandigarh an acquaintance of my father were two sisters, who had not gotten married and probably were associated with some sant they had a Gurudwara it is there even today so they never married, they would sing read scriptures, sing devotional hymns (Kirtan) they had a decent circle so I went especially to visit them lot of love they showered on me, then they had a program they were building a new Gurudwara so they had to go there they asked me to come along, I said yes so they asked one of their nieces told her to get me along with her, they went first, after they left I was with that lady, she was very well to do, modern having a lot of makeup on, painted fully painted, so very nice looking lady, she had a child, who was about 8 or 9 years old her daughter who was with her, so when it was time to leave, she she signaled me, to sit in the back of a Maruti Van I sat at the back her daughter sat on the front seat so, she she told her daughter in English, that 'she wouldn't know how to close the door, so darling, please close the door!' the door, so darling, please close the door!' Good Lord! so I told the child, because the door was open from my side I asked her to wait, that I will shut the door now the look that she gave me, as if, like, what do you know!! about the how to shut the door of the van but by the time she could, I shut the door the lady was surprised and asked me, that 'you understand English?' I said, child I am the principal of the place where you studied so then on the way, she started to have little talk with me, but she was deeply amazed that I had been educated in a convent school and chose this way of living life I said 'this you will not understand' your intellect is not that developed yet that is why I will not answer this and waste my time uff! she turned red without without applying any rouge, her cheeks turned red she got very upset but you see she started it, so I had to give an answer now if I don't answer even that much that is not how it works! so they are surprised why? there is so much comfort in the world in marriage at home, on vacations eat, sleep, have children all this but think of it this way, that this dream is going on, and in the dream you got married, had children, a house while dreaming going around to different places in the dream you own an airplane and then the dream broke will you get up in the morning and be proud that at night, in one night, I earned so much that I owned an airplane too! and if you were to tell someone that I own an airplane if you have to go somewhere, let me know I will take you for free the person asks where is your plane? you say 'in my dreams' Will it not seem like you have lost your mind? so mostly the worldly people, feel the sant have lost their mind now the thing is what an agyani (ignorant persong) believes to be true the wise one knows it to be an illusion it is not that in an illusion, it will not be perceived of course it will be perceived a snake in the rope though not there, but due to darkness appears to be in that, still darkness is needed but the 'blue colour' of the sky is not there it can be seen now the sky has become black, is the sky black? means in the morning blue and at night it is black but that is how it is seen despite seeing it you do not believe it to be true but you won't say it to be untrue either so until it is thought in terms of truth and untruth then, where there is gratification of senses that is and all that glitters, this & that indulgence, gratification clothes, diamonds, cars this that all that glitter shine if someone says leave it all close your eyes and meditate upon the Lord, have you gone mad? often what do they say? we will remember God when we grow old You are too young to remember God? What did Maharaj say? Govind milan ki eh teri baria! (this is your time to meet HIM) well that's okay but there is an age for everything again bringing it back to age I said Mother!, a five year old ass even when he turns twenty, he will still remain an ass yes! With increasing age does one become wise? so those who are in attachment, jealousy, indulging in the worldly desires for such a being, the world alone is true, God...he wonders... is he there or not, out of fear, he may say yes yes HE is there while cheating and committing sin, at that time do they ever think God is there in the villages, towns, and cities, in all the place to have their word taken as truth, they swear by God I swear by Babaji forgive me, it is believed, that when you lie and swear, then that who ever you swear by will die now swearing by Babaji! Baba is no longer in physical form so sear by him, one of them said swear by your mother, he, says why? you do it some are so stubborn they will swear by their mother, father and yet tell a lie one said, you swear by yourself okay then so be it later says you swore by yourself yet you lied, are you not afraid? says, so what, nothing happens if you do now say! how man manipulates the world which he believes to be true and wishes to indulge in it and hold it wants to get something from it wishes to keep it close the wise one says that world is illusionary... after illusion what remains to be held or left see, this knowledge, even after attaining the wisdom, Shri Krishna Maharaj all his life performs the tasks of his divine life marries many a times Ram Chandra ji too marries, battles with Ravan all our sages were married, ran their Gurukuls taught students, gave them knowledge, wrote scriptures, did many good deeds not that after attaining wisdom they stopped doing their duties whatever their destiny was they did that Naradji was not destined to marry, so be it, Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatan these four did not marry didn't do it! Shukdevji also led a bachelors life he did not marry so in Gyana it is not seen whether one marries or not if one marries then he is useless and if not that is a big thing nothing like that but after attaining wisdom... then it really does not matter, but if one has not gained the wisdom these are not Vedic times where everyone spent 25 years living with the master in the Ashram if they had lived spent 25 years, attaining knowledge and after all was done go bump into the world who is stopping you go, do whatever you wish to do
