in our tradition of sages, how many sages......., if you see majority of them were married all of them were married had children so were the children born without the physical act of intimacy No! and when some one raises children then when need arises mother and father also get angry, when they have to make the child understand something so they would get angry too and when the Guru teaches his disciples then he too needs to use the weapon of anger then he does get angry why only that he may even use a stick it is another thing that whether or not you are capable of the guru's hammering that is why you do not get anything as of now your ego is so big and surrender is not complete so the Guru will not take that much liberty with you which is why you find the Guru being formal and polite then understand that until now no relationship has been formed between you and the Guru Guru does not consider you worthy of being comfortable with you which is why he behaves like a formal person like a stranger, when one talks to a stranger one is very formal we are very respectful then please and thank you and sorry, it's all for others when one reaches home, nobody says please, sorry and thank you and when some sage or a Guru when talks to you very courteously, adding ji while calling out will you be able to do this?, you are here, you please eat, sit, you know very respectful and very entertaining then understand it's all very messed up the desires of our mind keep disturbing the the mind like when the wind blows waves arise in the ocean and how many waves are formed at one time in the ocean you will not be able to count and yet I can say we can count the number of waves which come on the ocean but to count how many thoughts and emotions run in your mind is the most difficult arduous, impossible task remember every desire is a seed that will turn into a tree and then on that tree crores of more seeds will grow in your mind, one desire arises if that desire gets fulfilled then thousand and lakhs of new desires arise from the fulfilment of this one desire one wish gives birth to thousand more and remember every desire that you have consciously or unconsciously knowingly or unknowingly consciously subconsciously whatever whatever desire you do, you will have to see the fulfilment of that desire whether it happens in one life or in millions of lives you are bound with your own desire your desire is the rope around your neck that binds you, gets stuck which is why Kabir and other sages had to say that the one with desires in the mind that person's mind will always be restless, frustrated and will remain entangled in it even one desire is enough to disturb the ocean of your mind and here not one don't even know how many are there the desire that arises out of ignorance and ego, it binds you see a wise one, a Yogi a sage is alive in his physical body so then he too will wish to eat he will be hungry, he too will wish/need to sleep the body needs rest the desire to take a bath, if it is cold then the desire for warm clothing, he too will wish for these and like I said all these sages and saints mostly were married had children had a house and now it is a different thing that the time was such the disciples would get food, clothes and and the Ashram had a large area lot of land there were few people so they would construct a shelter any where or may not make or make a hut anywhere and that would be theirs and then on the land the disciples, the students would grow some food plant some trees so flowers, fruits, vegetables would be there and have a pet cow so milk is there curd, clarified butter is there and the two pairs of clothes needed....... honestly try to guess how long would a thick piece of cloth last it lasts long there was no show off simple clothing once they got it, they would last long, and when students would come they would get something new there was no electricity, no phones were there, no cars so they had no expenses if they had to go anywhere, then horse or a bullock would be the mode of transport to go or else just went walking my Maharaj ji covered the whole of Punjab and from Punjab to Haridwar, Haridwar to Vrindavan he covered on foot, walking because among the old sages their was a belief that they should not ride not to ride meaning, not to sit on any horse or, a bull or a donkey, or any cart which is being pulled by a donkey or a horse, we should not, because we are giving pain to them, so if you need to go somewhere, walk olden days sages all walked now say, what expense? they had no expenses so needs were very limited and this body anyways does not need much yet, still to make a hut, and to ensure that roof of the hut is not leaking the cow needed to be milked, the milk safely stored away from the cat's reach, so all these wishes would be there in the mind but not one of these wishes bind him if the desire for sexual intimacy if that arises in the body or in the mind then at the right time in an appropriate manner they would act on it you know the even the sexual behaviour was so regimented you read our Purana (the sacred text) then it tells, for years they would be married and they would not consummate the marriage no sex happening for years they are together and they are happy just to be with one another and then at some point in time if that woman gets a desire in her mind that she should have a child of her own then she would tell the Rishi (sage) that 'I now wish to have a child' and then Rishi would reflect upon it using his insight to see, is it, in my Karma and some used astrology to see what would be an appropriate time which month, what auspicious moment, what time, date and exact moment would be best suited, at that time they would create physical intimacy and the woman would get pregnant with their son or daughter, giving birth to a child who is as virtuous as them if one is an angry sexual maniac and then wish that my child should be very a very elevated soul.
