From there, they went into your sub-conscious mind. Now to whom will they affect? To your conscious mind only. Now you sat, let's do little recitation today. Let's read the Gurbani (scripture) of Baba (Guru). started reading sacred text of scripture, "simro simar simar sukh pawo kal kalesh tan maahi mitavo" In Canada flood came, a thought came, "simaro jaas visambhar eke naam japat aganat aneke" Gas has become too costly. Are you getting this? The sacred text is in front, your conscious mind doesn't want to read the sacred text properly. When it is not active then sub-conscious becomes active. In the morning we had eaten dal, will eat curry at night, neighbors are coming, someone made noise, someone has gone to film, someone has died, someone has taken birth, has happened, that has happened, this work has to be done and eyes are reading the sacred text this can't be called recitation of sacred text. This is the reason people recites still they remain stupid, they listen to satsang (spiritual discourse) still they remain fool. No difference comes. Through your ears what will go to your sub-conscious mind there should be check on this. What will you see through your eyes there should also be control over this. What will you say, over this also your conscious mind should work actively. Now you say lie then you say Sorry, I didn't want to speak lie but I did. Because they repeatedly make mistakes and to save own ego has to tell lies again and again. So this is a vicious circle. You need to see what goes in through your senses, into your mind from your conscious mind it is going to be part of your sub-conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind it will affect your mind. A child in cinema saw hero smoking cigarette. He went to the shop says, "Father has ordered packet of cigarettes." He lied, bought cigarette. Hiding on terrace of home like the hero he put cigarette in his mouth, like the hero he lighted the matchstick and lighted the cigarette what he has seen so he is puffing up when he coughed then he remembered friends used to say, first time there will be coughing, then after two three times no more coughing. What he has seen... he started doing it. he has a wish that, I smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol or go out with a girl. It is created on its own or the wish has come to mind from the outside. When in college everybody is drinking alcohol and you are seeing people drinking alcohol, how long would you stay there without drinking alcohol. You too will want to do that and then lie about it. Mother will ask, "Did you drink alcohol going to college?" No mother, I didn't drink. But he knows what he has done. Why because when everyone will do, everyone will do, everyone will do then this stupid mind it might be right, it might be good, let's do it. Everybody is doing it so I should do it. Whatever you listen, whatever you see, its impact comes on your character. So your character gets built up via your sub conscious mind your choices, your desires, your decisions they come from your sub-conscious mind. I will do this, I will go here, I will eat this, I will do like this, I will do like that. Who is giving this to you. ? All these are coming from your sub-conscious mind. And in dream at night, conscious mind sleeps but your sub-conscious remains awake you see how weird dreams come. Someone was saying me that he had a good dream, in dream he saw master, this happened that happened. He was saying me everything. I said him, Good dream came so you are making me listen but the other dreams that come you never make me listen to those he looked down. I said, Today you have to tell those also, So he felt very shame. Then he said something..when I said you have to say then I said, You want to show your good side then why you want to hide the other? They may be of 80 years or of 90 years or 60 years or of 16 years dreams are coming of that... dreams of sex are running, in sub-conscious mind those are filled. When we are awake still in the conscious mind legal, illegal, law, ethics all those are running in front but going to deep sleep the conscious mind is gone legal, illegal, ethical, unethical all these principles are not applicable then the sub-conscious mind does the real drama. In your dream your sub-conscious mind is the king that is why we call dream as 'manorajya' (the kingdom of mind) in Hindi language where the mind is king that is the state of dream. This is your sub-conscious mind. Let's go forward unconscious mind. Anything not being actively accessed by the conscious mind from the sub-conscious gets pushed into the unconscious Information stored in the unconscious mind can not be accessed ordinarily but this is easily possible for an accomplished yogi. Which information we don't use through our sub-conscious mind and don't do it for long they become part of unconscious mind. What karmas you did before, that is also in your unconscious mind Your unconscious mind is the unwritten document of your millions of lives. You have heard this.. Now it will not be remembered But In nature (prakriti) When do some action then that action is energy and it will come back to you in circular motion (boomerang motion) Think like this, A man keeps on shot arrows keeps on shooting and shooting, shot arrow and arrow and every arrow will come back to him One arrow went to 50 kilometers, other went to 20 One arrow went to 100 kilometers, one went to 1000 kilometers just imagine you know... hypothetically Every arrow will come back to him. and he is shooting too much arrows Which arrow will come and hit back to him will he remember that ? Can he remember ? People say, why I am sad? Why am I diseases? Why am I sick ? Why my child is like this ? Why is my mother suffering from cancer ? Why did my father get heart attack ? How did we get so much profit ? How did we get so rich ? How did we get fame without doing anything? Sometimes people questions, They won't question for the good things for good things others are questioning Oh ! how did you become rich ? How did you get so much fame? If something bad happens, then the person himself questions Why is it happening to me? Don't ask anyone. Be a yogi and to unconscious mind from this sandook (chest or vault used for storage) you will receive all the information, that... this is what you did for which you have to face all this. One of my Mahatma friend, He became little sick I went him to see in hospital. I said swami ji, you are looking in pain You got sick. He said, no I am not sick Some previous sins have come to met this body. I am not sick. My previous sins being disease no complaints Money If we talk in language of scriptures, then, coming of money can be due to some virtuous acts but sometime coming of more money can be because of some sinful acts. Now you will ask, how come? and that is by When there was no money, then extreme indulgence was not there Money came, extreme indulgence came What was the reason for man's downfall ? His money If poor, then he is somewhat afraid If becomes rich... he is not afraid of anyone. I will see. This attitude, will see ! I am not saying that money comes only because of sins Money can come because of virtuous acts also Now what is the difference when money When the money, wealth comes to you because of your past virtuous karma It will make you a benevolent person. It will make you a philanthropist. It will make you a great person. because you will be doing service to others. "Ghaal khaye kichh hathon de, nanak rah pachaney se" Earn with hardwork Give one part of your earned money to the needy This is the word of Sri Guru Nanak Dev He is also rich But thieves and smugglers are rich too Those who run prostitution rackets drugs even they are rich Their money is coming because of their sins. What acts did you do? What did you do? sin or virtuous Everything is getting stored in your unconscious mind. So this life or any other life you have one same non changing unconscious mind with you Unconscious mind will shape up your subconscious mind. Your sub conscious mind will shape up your conscious mind Our behavior Our nature is all coming out of unconscious now the one who is greedy, you know, those who have too much greed in them, even if they leave every worldly thing and become a sadhu They will still remain greedy.
