साधना में उन्नति क्यों नहीं lAmrit Varsha Ep 1254 Daily Satsang 27th July 21 Anandmurti Gurumaa

I have always been like this. Even when I was at home, some relatives used to visit some aunts, some uncles...I have not dropped from the sky, I also have had a big family there are many So, if I get to know that they are about to come, I would move out of the house Later on, I'll accept getting rebuked, but I won't work for them materialistic, worldly, ill tempered, people engaged in attachments and aversions, I won't be in their service no, no, no I won't be in their service I used to get severely scolded I was ready to receive a scolding but, no So, my setting was such that one or two disciples of mine I had instructed them, so they would come to pick me up saying, there is a satsang (spiritual discourse) here and a satsang there we have to go there, and it is necessary and would just pick up like this, and leave and then I would reach around nine or ten in the night, by that time they had finished their food and were watching television...so my work was done receive a rebuke, listen from here and leave from there, that's it secondly, I also knew when someone hurls abuses at you then that person gives his virtues to us and takes our sins in return, so this is a win-win situation, hence go ahead no problem very stubborn so if one is not stubborn, then how can one live life the world kills you this crusher from which oil is extracted, sesame and mustard oil they crush it, by crushing it this way oil is extracted so relatives are always ready to crush the oil out of you and their crusher of relationships keeps on working. If they sit, they'll talk ill about this person and that person the relative who is not seated, they will talk ill about him, and if he comes then they will praise him This politics goes on I will not do this Meera was very like this Meera was carefree like me All carefree people are similar somebody said if the King is displeased with you, then where will you go Meera, what will you do then she said, if the King is displeased, then the people will keep me if the King gets displeased and throws me out of the house, then the whole town will keep me but if my Krishna becomes displeased with me, then who will keep me Listen to this If the king is displeased If the king is displeased then people will keep me if God is displeased then where will I go If the king is displeased then people will keep me, if God is displeased then where will I go I will sing praises of Govind (Shri Krishna Ji) I will sing praises of Govind of Govind of Govind I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind O mother I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind I wear whatever attire he makes me wear, I eat whatever he gives I wear whatever attire he makes me wear, I eat whatever he gives our love is eternal our love is eternal, I cannot live a moment without him I will sing praises of Govind O mother I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind when the dusk falls, I rise; when the dawn comes, I rise when the dusk falls, I rise; when the dawn comes, I rise Whole day and night, I'll play with my Krishna I'll play with my Kanha Whole day and night, I'll play with my Krishna this is how I will please him I will sing praises of Govind O mother I will sing praises of Govind Giridhar (Shri Krishna) is my true beloved, I am enchanted at his sight Giridhar (Shri Krishna) is my true beloved, I am enchanted at his sight Meera's lord is Giridhar Nagar Nagar Meera's lord is Giridhar Nagar, I surrender myself I surrender myself I surrender myself to you I surrender myself I will go to abode of Giridhar I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind O mother I will sing praises of Govind O mother I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind I will sing praises of Govind The amount of time Jeeva (the individual soul) devotes towards improvement and progress in the world if he devotes even one-fourth of that towards spiritual practice then, the work is done in that much Meera says O God I shall worship you day and night and a worldly person's mind thinks about money day and night money money has become God If he goes to the temple, then by offering money he would seek quick darshan and since he has money, so by offering it to God, he would get his photograph printed on newspapers since he has extra money, he would show off his wealth to his brothers and sisters by teasing them he keeps playing this game these are desire's affairs Desire has also been referred to as a serpent If somebody is bitten by a snake then the life force gets into trouble and here, not only one, infact thousands and lakhs of serpents of desires serpent have wrapped themselves around you, and keep biting you, and one happily allows them to bite oneself Now, in such a in such a mind which is soiled with desires can flowers of love blossom Even if the whole world considers you a charitable man calls you a holy person since you have given a lot of money as charity even then, how does it make a difference. In the eyes of Ishvara, you are an egotist in the eyes of a Mahatma, you are an egotist what grace can be bestowed upon an egotistic person? Nothing This is why he keeps asking why doesn't anything happen? When people meditate they ask why doesn't anything happen? what will happen? all the time, your mind is running here and there sometimes you are remembering your house, sometimes work, sometimes you are remembering your friends, or other times your enemies sometimes attachment, sometimes aversion a mind which is divided with attachments and aspirations how can then that mind sit and do any kind of sadhna (spiritual practice), it is not possible Understand this statement by Kabir one needs patience one needs sincerity what is outside the wealth, house in one's hands, what is it what is it one of my earlier acquaintances an acquaintance of mine since thirty years came here he saw the ashram his eyes popped out, it seemed as if how will he close his eyes he was a previously known person, so he did not have any formal behaviour so he kept saying one thing, how did this happen How did this happen? I said what has happened are you talking about the building this is all bricks and stones if mud remains lying on the ground then it has no value, and if the same mud stands as a wall then what is it's value wealth is mud. From where are all your gold, silver, diamond extracted? From mud itself Once, I was in Tanzania went there for a spiritual discourse so the one who was my host he is a Patel he said he has a diamond mine he said, for you, I really wish to have a diamond ring made I said...for me, I don't have this habit However, he insisted, at least you should see how we extract and what all is extracted uncut, raw and then, when it is sent for polishing, which happens in Europe and there itself they used to make the jewellery to further sell it they took us and they showed this is it, this is that I was looking at everything I said very nice, he asked which one do you like, I said none of them All are nice, I'm not denying it is so sparkling, so wonderful, so beautiful, very beautiful We really like the moon, but that does not mean we will bring it home If we wish to see the moon, we go to the terrace look outside from the window that's it I said you wear and make other people wear all these fingers that people have, they are mine, those are my hands only I therefore, don't need it separately He said no no, it will look good; but it is anyway appearing good to me, how else would you make it look better Will look good, what will look good? he kept insisting but he did not understand. Then, I to him, while roaming when we came outside from that shop his so there outside on the floor, there were many small pebbles, small pebbles and stones were lying on the ground I said tell me one thing Jeetu, what is the difference between this and the one that is lying in the shop the core element is earth the element is earth in both things, in pebble and in a diamond now, since diamonds are scarce so we feel like wearing it in our ears, in.. not in the eyes..wear it in the ears yes wear it in the nose, in the hands, in the head, decorate, decorate and imagine if this happens, that all the stones become diamonds and all diamonds become stones then people will wear stone jewellery Look, mine is so big right now, diamonds are in scarcity while stones are abundant the value of a scarce thing becomes more, that's it if water becomes scarce then it's value also becomes high but, if you are hungry, neither eating a stone nor a diamond would satiate the hunger For life, for body both these things are not required When we have such a discrimination when we have such an intellect then our thoughts, our understanding, our whole perspective you know, your way of seeing the life changes then things don't matter but moments matter the moments that we are living out of those moments how much do we spend in remembering God this is precious and how many moments, we have wasted, how much do we worry about it
