I said, "Mother, you think this if you wouldn't gotten me, if you wouldn't have listened to satsang (spiritual discourse) if you wouldn't have listened these thoughts then what would have happened to you? you would have worried then...why to worry now? knowledge is there, master is there, what spiritual practice is to be done is known you are trying to do, sometimes some lacuna happens here and there but don't beat yourself so much that you don't have that complete dispassion that you don't have that complete attentiveness or you don't have that complete vairagya desirelessness in your mind why can't you see this...you are on the path you are trying to do your best, so do your best and leave it on God leave it the rest on him if we will do everything then...I am remembering one event among our Mahatmas, satire goes on very much so a saint was asking another sadhu Do you do sandhya? means when sun rises then and when sun sets then, two times who is naishtik brahman they do sandhya they do Jaap, do Gayatri Jaap, do pranayam do little worship, do rosary also so this is the rule, so he asks him he was in white clothes and he asks, "Do you do sandhya?" he says, "How can I do sandhya?" God does that what is the other meaning of sandhya? When the sun sets when sun rises then sandhya says, "How can I do sandhya, God does sandhya" says, "No, no don't you do sandhya?" says, "If I will do everything then what will God do?" that's why let him do some work, God does sandhya...he asked, "what do you do?" says, "I see God doing sandhya" he does something...I do something this is sarcasm...this is joke this is not thing of laziness that out of laziness he was not doing anything so by doing spiritual practice with determination our energies get arisen concentration increases in mind the insanity of mind get reduced enthusiasm comes within mind satvikta arises in mind mind gets purified and in this purified mind. then the entry knowledge happens properly if you will put milk in dirty container then it will also get damaged container should be clean similarly whose container of mind is not clean in that mind inclusion of knowledge can't happen such person listens words of knowledge and he can do pride also that I have much knowledge but the fragrance of that knowledge is not there in his life the scent of that knowledge is not there in his life so purity of mind happens by doing penance we make the mind sattvik by penance that's why one should take a rule of penance definitely suppose you did a resolution that everyday I will do Jaap waking up at 5 in the morning and then someday it was too cold then your dishonest mind will say, "sleep, no problem, will do at 6 o'clock" will Shiv ji be angry or God will be angry does God has any watch? God is beyond time doing such arguments, covering up his laziness he slept and didn't complete his rule, so whose loss happens?it is your loss and when you will complete your rule leaving this laziness then your energies will increase your energies will increase okay let me tell you another story told you story of saints, now will tell you story of my disciples one of my disciples...it happened like I got out of here and I had to go somewhere at Himachal it happened that exactly before 60-70 Km from Panchkula a fault happened in my vehicle and felt what to do now..should we move ahead or go back? no problem..vehicle will be repaired there...slowly move forward...let's go ahead only went ahead...had informed him also that we will sit there and vehicle will go for repairing...so called him that you come and take me from this point and my disciples will repair the vehicle and I sat in the vehicle with him and he was on the front seat and I was on the back seat and he was laughing moving like this what happened to him, why is he laughing like this and moving also if one smile slowly then you can't know,he was moving like this also now I can't say that why are you laughing okay no problem when reached home I sat,he also sat doing pranam then he laughed again...so had to ask, "Now why are you laughing?" tell me the reason of laughter...I will also laugh along says, "your vehicle did not break down, I have done it" your vehicle did not get break down, I have done it...I asked, "How's that?" says, "I was missing you so much...so much...so much..." and body was unhealthy and I was unable to come to you so doctor had denied some more difficulties had happened to him I was missing you so much...so much...so 'my missing' has damaged your vehicle and after the vehicle broke down, where have you come? You have come here so you haven't come...I have brought you it's good thing...this much confirmation should be there this confirmation should come within within whom this confirmation is not there how is he a lover, within whom this confirmation is not there, how is he a disciple? this much confidence should be there in disciple this much confirmation should be there that if we will think something with sattvik mind, with pure mind and that too for spirituality, for god for saint,for master,if we will bring some thought,some decision that thought will be fulfilled for sure that will happen definitely...how won't it happen? you see Shabari kept doing penance without letter, without note, without SMS, without E-mail without any navigation Ram goes to her door where someone was waiting for him and who was looking out for Ram day and night who used to bring fruits from forest everyday who used to clean the path everyday who used to wait everyday...master had said Sri Ram will come...Sri Ram will come Shri Ram will arrive at your place, you don't have to search Shabari, you do penance sitting here how can disciple doubt the words given by master how many years Shabari has done penance, without any information and in that area... that is also field of penance that is pilgrimage, in that area how many Mahatmas how many ascetic, how many knowledgeable how many hermit, how many yogeshwar were living everyone had love for Ram, everyone was waiting for Ram but leaving everyone Ram goes to Shabari so this means that only doing penance is not enough penance should also be the best only loving is not enough there should also be depth in that love and if there is such depth then even Brahma can't obstruct the resolution to be fulfilled arising from this pure mind nature can't also be obstruction this nature also helps him who with his own power of penance with his power of penance, with his power of love, with his power of devotion keeps refining his own life...so do penance do penance...take any rule whatever rule was taken, according to that run your life and this...this will brighten your mind and then in this brightened mind, we can say some good things start to come in this mind don't have to bring...they keep coming listen with love this Shabad from Gurbani which I am singing Gurudev says, "jyon tu chalahe tiv chalhe swami hor kya jaana gun tere" how you will make me walk...Oh God! Look, when I see people I see they are their body's worst enemies eating wrong staying up till late at night anger, worry by frequently doing this they make their body diseased by eating & drinking wrong their bodies Vatta, Pitta gets imbalanced and that is the cause of all diseases when cough increases then Asthma, when cough increases then Asthma, bronchitis such diseases and heart's Arteriosclerosis such diseases occur when Pitta gets aggravated then acidity, ulcers, boils etc start to form the issues of the Vatta increases then brain damaging heart damaging diseases can occur our ancestors understood this very well that we cannot live against the law of nature we have to live in tuning with the nature we cannot go against nature then what to eat in which season, and what to drink in any season a lengthy summary of that was given to us But todays man he does not make use of this knowledge which is why he is ill imparted by our ancestors and needs to go to doctors makes rounds to the doctors which is why ages faster, becomes old and that is why dies early so, this body's care & protection should be every man's first and foremost duty so where one needs to take care of food that one eats one should also be careful that in any situation or due to any reason one should make sure that worry & sorrow or frustration do not take over because when your mind is sad then your body becomes sick mind or the relation in between the mind and the body is so strong that if the mind is sad the body goes into sad mode if mind is frustrated then the whole system gets frustrated that is why those who worry too much they have hypertension & insomnia like diseases if they occur then it's not surprising at all now the funny thing is that disease came from the mind to the body and you treat the body by taking medicine from the doctor if you had used little bit of your mind then the disease that has come from that can also be treated the mind to the body by the mind now this science those who do not know they keep wandering going to the Doctor's the ones who understand this science they keep their mind in control and calm that disease does not go to the body and if due to some reason because diseases manifest due to many reasons, mother father, could be genetical, seasonal, sometimes your genealogy in that some diseases have seeped in due the collective Karma of the past you pay for their consequences then too diseases occur now there are 7-8 reasons why diseases occur. otherwise diseases don't occur now assume if rest all was okay, you were doing fine but that the genes from the chromosomes with which your body is formed if in that genetic coding some disease occurs what can you do about it? there at that point I will say that saying nothing can be done is wrong too but to correct it the amount of resolve and hard work and meditation is required if someone is willing to do it then that too can be changed let me give and exmaple & state in my acquaintance there was a Yogi at a young age when he was around 6- 7 years of age when his legs became a bit crooked and some such disease he had that the family thought that he died, he stopped breathing, his pulse stopped the village medical practitioner saw breathing, his pulse stopped the village medical practitioner saw & declared him dead so the family members cried and took him to the crematorium to burn on the pyre they placed the dead body while covering it on top with wood the body moved Now in Tamilnadu's this village when such an incident occurred no one could understand and they thought this is some ghostly affair, wonder what it is so out of fear all began to run only the family stayed and in that mean while he raised his arm and moved his leg too and started making sounds moaning, mother & father said this is a ghost our son is dead this is not our son, some ghost has entered his body assuming this they too ran away now this around 7 year old boy moved the logs of wood from his body himself and sees where he is sitting he is in a crematorium he got down from the pyre and walked back home, the family shut the door calling him a ghost and he could hear voices someone said throw a spear at him, other said throw a sword cut his body into pieces the ghost will come out now imagine that with this 7 year old boy such brutal behaviour, his own family is doing due to ignorance they did not understand what happened then he crying and sobbing he returned there only he sat outside the village temple there a sage was visiting when the Mahatma saw this child took care of him fed him and then when he heard the whole story very strange story Mahatma took the child with him and then living with this Mahatma he learnt Yog and three to four years of continuous practice of Yoga Asana & Pranayama doing them regularly such that his life was filled with a wave of joy in the Mahatma's companionship within 4 years the extremely diseased body that became absolutely healthy not only became healthy also with time when he became mature, an adult then he was married too had children too but even with all this neither did he stop practicing Yoga nor his meditation practice reduced and then there came such a time that he by himself became a competent Yoga practitioner and an accomplished Yogi this I am talking of the divinely merged Buaji whose Darshan here at the Ashram many have sought a body that was dead due to disease such a diseased body that it was declared dead by the medical practitioner, put on the pyre how firm a resolve he must have had & what an amazing saint that Mahatma must have been who took this small child who instilled this spirit of spiritual surrender and devotion so the body's sense of being to everyone due to ignorance seems very strong you did not have to learn or master anything to know that you are a body we all believe it those close to us, mother, father, relatives they too understand it in the same way, we too have been taught the same, I am this body, they are mine, we have to live we have to make a house, marry earn money need to earn name, fame learning these things man spends his entire life, forgetting that this, no one to remind him that the body is just the outer form of this cycle and he is away from the source so from the body rise above the senses from the senses go beyond to the mind from the mind to the intellect intellect to the subconscious to the I within, search for the essence know the real self and then ones' own true self must know thyself to understand, this is also known as self realisation away from the body, mind & intellect that which is the true self that alone is a reflection of the divine this realisation (Omkar Swaroop or Shiv Swaroop) after achieving it then outside the body, mind, intellect interactions, materialistic world all can go on in its place or may not go on then there is no hinderence but like Kabir Sahib or Guru Nanak Dev ji Saints like them have said search for they didn't say your home meditate on the dot look out for it search for your source know your own self vocabulary like 'Mool & Apna Aap' they used. Surat Jagao these words Kabir sahib repeats many times. Surat Jagao light the lamp within you How to awaken this so he said for that use NAAD so use of NAAD a part of it is Mantra and in this SHIV SHADAKSHAR STRORA OM NAMAH SHIV-A-YAH so first is OM the form of OM it is said the one with which the one who one is contemplating upon the Yogi does attain Moksha to that Omkar I bow down to in this Shloka what is the form of Omkar is not told but it is said that the Omkar A yogi contemplates upon and the Yogi becomes free from all bondage to that Om I pay tribute look, in a Chemistry class Physics is not taught and in Mathematics class English is not taught so then at this time the topic is SHIV SHADAKSHAR, the six letters in the Matra OM-NAM-AH SHIV-A-Yah there six letters what do they mean this he is telling so the meaning of OM that he has given is just this that by contemplating liberates the Yogi upon which now this in itself is a vast topic that how to understand Om I have given some hints yet those hints are not enough sometimes you prepare yourself bring dispassion in your conscious detach and carry out your practices mind constantly make place for it then you at some time Mandukya Upnishad, in which the detailed summary of OM is given that I will tell and the preparation for Upnishad that you will have to do that is needed without that preparation the benefit of the knowledge of Upnishad will not be there merely listening to words is not attaining the words need to be applied firmly knowledge and to firmly decide mind needs to be stilled calm, detached immersed in love, free of attachment and hatred you will have to do it Namanti Rishyo Deva Namtyap Sar Sam Ganam Nara Namah Namanti Devesham Nakarayah Namo Namah Namanti Devesham Nakarayah Namo Namah Na Nakarayah After Om Namah, 'N' is the first syllable what is this 'N', this is that which all Rishi's bow down to to whom all the Deity's pay respect to that which the entire divinity, people with divine attributes pay respect to that which is revered by the Deities too that Nakarayah I pay regards to now this Omkarayah is followed by Nakarayah by the Nakarayah too the Omkar is being described Mahadeva Mahtmanam Mahadhyanam Parayanam Parayan is to serve serve who? Mahdeva (supreme being) when we say Deity then your imagination brings forth an image from the television serials or in the old mythological films the Deity that you have seen Varun Dev, Indra all those are shown as Humans who wear a crown and wear lot of jewellery and in their hand they carry some weapons you go into those pictorial forms but when I say Devata then the meaning of Devata is Energy for example we say eyes with the power allows them to see the eye's anatomically it can be understood by doing a postmortem and pulling out the eye ball and seeing all the eye nerves and going all the way with the optic nerve to the brain, how the system is can be seen but with what is the power with which all this works, that power we say is the sense when we say eye this doesn't mean this eye, our word is eye the sense organ the o inner power that makes it function the power which through the ear is making hearing possible, that makes the tongue speak or taste making it possible for the nose to smell different odours good or bad which is giving it the power the power of touch who is the Deity for touch it is Air (Vayu) so the Deity for sight is said to be the Sun the Deity for smell is the earth the diety is earth smell is all sourced from the earth All taste is by the water so water the power of its being the energy with which it works that power/energy is called Varun it is said that the one who all Deities bow down to, what that means is that this entire collection of the five elements the energy that makes them function those energies are Deities and these Deities too bow down to the existence, we too pray to the same so Mahadeva (the Supreme Existence) Varun too is a deity Arun too is a deity, Indra too is a Deity Mother earth too is a Deity all of them are Deities but they are not Mahadeva (Supreme existence) they are not great they change, they have a tenure now the universe is existing and all energies are functioning at the time of destruction, these energies will go away will stop functioning they will merge they will merge but that which is never lost that which does not disappear that alone is Mahadeva (Supreme One) Mahadeva Mahatmanam that which is a Superior Soul sometimes the word used is Atma & sometimes when to people are heard preaching I feel like laughing when they say the 'soul' is a child of God we are all 'souls' we the 'souls' have forgotten ourselves we 'souls' have to search for God what childish talk do they do? it is like if I tell this by giving an example then it will be: a drop of water is a child of the ocean, the drop of water needs to search for the ocean the drop is separate from the Ocean does it make sense? the drop when did it separate from the Ocean? the drop how should it find the Ocean? tell me?

Yesterday, a gentleman was telling me that the new construction that is going on, is awesome. Means, It's getting constructed remarkably I didn't get it, whether it was a complaint or a compliment? So I was telling him,......he is the one sitting behind who asked So, I was saying him that all this is done so that to make you feel so good that whenever you visit here, you even forget your home (Clapping & Laughter) So, it's a trap. But you are also very much crooked as you don't get into the trap easily. Though I try a lot. (Laughter) This is absolutely true, In 1982, when Mandir Devi Street, Jaura Peepal, Amritsar I have given the complete address It was called Jaura Peepal because there were two Peepal trees together at the entrance of the street So, when I delivered discourses publicly for the first time at that place majority of the audience consisted of females and for one full month, I used to go there directly from the college. I mean I was studying in 11th standard at that time and by the time 20 days were over, such a blissful environment was created there. Although, I was myself living an ordinary life at that time, had just started going to the college. We called it Prep, which is now called as 11th standard. Even I never used to dress up like a sadhu at that time Rather, I used to wear simple white suit and go straight from the college But by the time.... hmm, a girl of that era is still sitting over here (Laughter) So, it used to strike my mind that I should also dress up like a sadhu wearing a long robe, rosary and all... And all those people who are falling in love and devotion, may become sadhus too. And then keep on roaming, chanting and dancing in the streets I mean everyone should abandon their homes and shouldn't return But what actually happened was that all the elderly women died and young ones got married and the middle aged ones remained engaged in managing their household chores Right! So, I can say that only one specimen copy of that particular time came along with me In Hindi & Urdu, we call it 'Namoona' (Sample) and that is 'Harimilan'. (Laughter) But he also abandoned his home in the year 1992 He took good 10 years to contemplate But many a times I say that he too had never thought of this; It's just that, a bit of my support made him firm. He just came with an intention to get my cottage built-up in Rishikesh. Thinking of, how would she manage alone as it was in deep forest. Jungle and serpents were present at that time too, as they are present today. Today also, I took one serpent out of the house as it had entered my house early morning I keep explaining them not to come, yet they keep coming. So, my attempt is whosoever listens....... we got this very life with great difficulty, Don't know when we'll get it again. But, no one listens Time and again runs behind the temporal world Today, we will do one Vedic Prayer first. First I will speak, then you will repeat after me Sage says, "Om Sarvesham, Svastir Bhavatu" (May auspiciousness be unto all!) The foundation of three gunas - Sattva, rajas and tamas is "Om" Svastir ! May everyone be healthy from body, mind and intellect Bhavatu ! May this happen Sarvesham Shantir Bhavatu (May everyone recieve peace) 'Sarvesham Purnam Bhavatu' - May completeness be unto all. 'Sarvesham Mangalam Bhavatu' - May prosperity be unto all. Sage never wishes that only I or my disciples should get everything Sage says "May everyone gets it." For all the sentient beings I pray. May each and every sentient being be healthy, May each and every sentient being be peaceful, May each and every sentient being be poorna (complete). May each and every sentient being have the positivity, the Energy in their life Sage prays for all. If one prays only for oneself then it would be a matter of selfishness So, wise and intellectual beings pray for everyone May everyone be healthy, peaceful, complete and prosperous. Today, you will do this prayer together with the sage and me. Listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He Listens. Listens... The fickle mind has now stilled... Has now stilled. Has stilled. The fickle mind has now stilled... Has now stilled...has now stilled... It's absorbed in the meditative state of stillness. The stillness... It's absorbed in the meditative state of stillness. The stillness... He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... Listens to it... He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He listens to it...He listens to it... Established in True-Self, he's become dispassionate... Renounced the illusionary world... Finding the True-Self, he's become dispassionate... Established in the True-Self, he's become dispassionate... Renounced the world's love... Renounced He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He listens... He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He listens... Listening to it, the mind turns dispassionate He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He listens... He listens to the sound of 'AUM'... He listens... He listens...He listens...He listens...He listens...He listens...He listens... The first state would be this that you would do the sound of 'AUM'. Like today, on various places in the body, parts of the body; touching them, Aum's vibration was felt. But, in the paramount state... it's ultimate form... In that... neither you need the hand, nor the hand needs to touch the body. Without any touch.. and without making audible sound from the tongue.... Without speaking, when, naturally- on-its-on, to the sound of 'AUM"... -A Yogi begins to listen within... Until the mind totally stills down, till then, it won't happen. If the mind's fickle state remains; If the mind keeps jumping from one subject to another, -keeps moving from one thought to another... then, it won't be possible. That's why I said, what you've felt today, it's the beginning, it's a start... Now, the question arises that how deep would you dive into it? But, by practicing it consistently, the ultimate state into which it would culminate, the description of that state... in the end, through the bhajan, I have given you... -Then he doesn't do, but only listens... He doesn't create the sound of 'AUM', he only listens to the sound of 'AUM'... And then, this reverberating sound within... listening to it, the mind would get so engaged that he doesn't try to become dispassionate, dispassion fructifies Like-as a flower blooms, then its fragrance spreads in all the 4 directions effortlessly... We don't need to do anything... Right now, when you sat... See, now, if we try to get a bit practical to understand it... then, while sitting if the body had a pain somewhere, then, where did your attention go? -Where it was paining, there! So, at present, the body won. Why did the body pain? Because the body has some disease. Why disease? -Because there's no discipline in eating habits. Are you getting it? And when, for many years, you remain imbalanced in eating, drinking, thinking, sleeping, speaking... Then, it gives rise to various types of diseases in our body... though, in Anand Utsav, often, the second sitting has always been that of Yog Nidra, but, when I see you, then the fact is that Yog Nidra's sitting actually transforms into Nidra's (sleep's) sitting... As in another half an hour, you people will have your meal. Means, meal would be just after this! Post the meal, it's an opportunity to lay down, The body is diseased, The body is imbalanced, You haven't done yogasana for an hour at home... right? This is because many people don't do yogasana at all! And on top of that, when you lay down after having food, then, Yog Nidra won't happen for sure! And this isn't the session of nidra (sleep). Tomorrow morning's asana... the sitting at 10'o clock... when you come for that sitting... Then, when you come from home, either have a glass of milk, or or eat a fruit... It would be good if you don't have tea, as if you will have tea on empty stomach, then it would cause acidity. So, you can have milk, or a some juice, or a fruit. Don't take any solid meal. And it's not so that you would get breakfast after the session. You won't get even that! You won't get that as after that... I'll tell you why? So, you have very light (food)... You must have a yoga dress...one... As in a long robe or salwar kameez, it would be hard to do (Asana)! So, tomorrow, it would be a bit different... Tomorrow morning at 10 'o clock, first there would be yogasana, with which... I think that, it's my thought that those people sitting on chairs, at the back, they're helplessly sitting like this, And I want this, that you leave the helplessness of the chair... restfully sit on the earth, then it would be a bliss.... for me! Right? So, Asanas are necessary. Tomorrow morning at 10'o'clock, first there would be asanas. Post the asanas... Then, there would be Yog Nidra... Tomorrow, we'll go totally opposite. So, you would think that if in afternoon, Yog Nidra's not there, then, what would happen? Nothing! Should we just fall asleep...? No, we won't let you sleep. It's our job to wake you up, not to make you fall into slumber. You keep on sleeping all the time! We need to wake up the one in slumber.... So, the sitting in today's afternoon, in that, for a quarter and an hour or so... for you, body and bodily diseases-why do they happen? The diseases which have occurred in the body, those diseases occurred due to the background of imbalance of vata-pitta-kapha... That imbalance, how did you create it, why did you do it? & it's solution, that can't be covered in just one sitting.... So, there would be another sitting for that... And with which, first of all, your body should get disease-free... In disease-free body, spiritual practice can be done. In a diseased body, spiritual practice isn't possible. So, the afternoon sitting, It will cover- Our body which is created from the three forces of nature and functioning, what are they & when they get imbalanced...then, due to that diseases manifest in the body. So, a little of basic constituents, which are there in your body, that's the subject for today. It will be a subject of discussion, which my disciples would take up in the afternoon sitting with you... and I want this that you listen to it very carefully... There wouldn't be any space for questions today. Today, you'll just listen. Questions related to this subject, that would be another sitting later on, where you can ask questions. Right now, you don't know, so, the questions would be very weird... So, time... slightly... then... kind of falls short... and somewhat gets wasted too. So, I want that you get the knowledge of body and in that food and lifestyle would also be there. In that, your eating habits would also be there, and sleep would also be there, and the elements this body is made up of, about those elements also, knowledge would be available to you in simple language. The present scenario...To change this scenario, it would be highly important to understand this... Through which, you may know that why you aren't able to sit erect. The fact is that when I see, then, at that time, I feel... Now... if I scold... "Well, why are you moving?... Why are you moving?" But, I know that the poor person is in pain, so he's moving. And pain's there and I don't allow you to move, then, I would be a dictator and I don't feel like being a dictator! That's not needed. So, understanding that pain in your body, I consider this important... Right now, for example, attention is going towards the body, or here's the pain! Attention is going there. Then, the place where I'm telling you to focus, how would you focus there? There were few people who sat very nicely. There hadn't been much of movement in the body also. So, a little... Whatever has been you experience in this subject, I want to ask you about it.-How many people, when you placed your hand on your chest, then you felt some pulsation, some vibration, please raise your hand! Splendid! Umm... How many people are there, when it was placed on the neck, they could feel? How many people are there, when hands were kept open, then they could feel? Okay, I will bring a little detail into it. When you keep your hands open like this, then in body, some kind of warmth was felt, in case? If that... something like this was experienced...? Or in the hands, if coldness was felt? Okay! How many people are there, who on placing the hand on the head felt the vibration of 'AUM' there? Now, you see, we think when we say 'AUM', only the ears are listening. You don't know, in the body, the hardest bone after the teeth is that of your skull. And in that also, how everything is reverberating. Today, you touch with the hand, then you're feeling it. Think of the state, when the hand touches neither the body, nor the chest and you make the sound and every single pore, you can feel, reverberating with 'AUM' This... By your... Later on... doing the practice consistently, gradually, this also is possible. I have absolute faith that the train we're pushing, the train of your spiritual practice, this push we're giving, once it gets on the track, then, very beautifully, by the grace of the Lord, it would move. The fact remains that without good fortune and without the Lord's grace, you can't be a sitting in such a congregation, you can't even reach, you won't be able to come! If there's just no news, then, how would a person come? How would he reach? So, all of you are highly fortunate, virtuous... There's great blessing of the Lord upon all of you... You're really the dear ones of the Lord! So, to my all dear ones of the Lord, my lots of Pranam Today's first sitting completes with this.

We don't get happy with words We emotions that are used behind those words We get affected by those emotions In the same way In mantra japa Which mantra you are reciting more important than what you are chanting is... with which emotion are you speaking How your feelings are How is your thinking Taken the rosary in hands ram ..ram..ram.. ram.. speaking like this like throwing stones on somebody saying ram ram like because someone has told them to do two mala daily, so they are watching oh it is not completed yet Neither the mind is in that nor there are feelings so reciting mantra in this way is of no use. When you do your chanting at that particular moment it is very very important that you should be clear in your heart and you should have a lots of great good feelings about the mantra about the time which you have been given to do and sit in peace, in prayer fullness so those intentions, those feelings are very very important Secondly, when you do the chant What do you do? You are using certain words and every word is going to produce a certain vibration Right The vibration of the word that vibration affects our glands You have heard many people if somebody get stone in gall bladder get stone in kidney or gall bladder so with Laparoscopic surgery they remove it in ten to fifteen minutes know, very small, one or one and half inch a hole is created in stomach and that tube is put inside the stomach through the camera they are watching they take it right to that point with laser waves Now what is laser wave? This too are waves of sound From that sound waves, stones there in the bodies are broken down and when this stone gets broken down then it passes out from the path of urine and the patient who was shouting in pain how they treated his pain The Laparoscopic surgery in that sound waves are used to crushed the kidney stones or the gall bladder stones. If a sound wave can crush a stone This means when you do the mantra you are also producing certain sound waves this means they are definitely going to bring great changes in your body getting my point The importance of doing chanting of mantra in a certain method, which I am telling like this your all those elderly people in homes who do mantra chanting they don't know about this thing because they are just doing because it should be done but what is scientific reason behind that what are the they don't know anything about its chemistry It is good to do with feelings but when wisdom gets combined with feelings then there is not any punishment of doing that thing By doing that, We are able to know that there is our own benefit Like, When you do chanting of mantra for example, yesterday we did Pranava chant chanting of Om For now you chant and recite Om with me but the difference will be this time you left or right hand give a very gentle touch on your neck place it here and now chant Om and feel your neck region Breath in Breath in are you feeling? what is happening in the throat simultaneously You can feel that? If we want to feel stronger vibrations of this sound then for that, you keep your thumbs in your ears and close it but first listen to it in this, We just have felt it externally, by touching the hands on the outer part we are feeling the vibrations when we close it by our thumbs in that vibration is internally we can feel it from inside You do yourself and then tell me By pressing your ears a little and then chant Om Yes, did you understand? How many of you were able to feel in the vibrations internally very good externally where you can anyone can experience that there the sound is kind of reverberating our vocal cords and it is moving, something is stirring inside when you plug your thumbs at that time you can feel the sound waves are creating certain changes internally also now there is a third place also but that can only be experienced by evolved and advanced practitioner that is when you do the chanting you can experience vibration in your forehead two eyebrows this is the point where eyebrows are meeting we call it the mid eyebrow or in hindi we call it 'bruh-madhya' 'madhya' means center, 'bhru' means the eyebrow bhruh-madhya so the third place while doing the chant of specially the Om mantra the vibration can be experienced at this point now this is the point which is closest to your pituitary gland closest with continuous chanting of Om the internal system of this body which are there you start giving a very good effect on that system like our when we say that I am feeling very good I am feeling happy, I am feeling good Actually these feelings are also generated because of the chemicals which have been released by your glands When you say, I am feeling sad even this sadness is because of the chemicals which have been released by your glands so we can say as your body chemistry would be so would be your feelings or as you would begin to feel so would be the experience of your body When you are sad get irritated or keeps on getting angry so what will happen? Hypothalamus to pituitary, from pituitary to from your adrenal gland to which we call stress hormones that begins to release and these stress hormones makes our body diseased In the same way when you feel happy When you bring a good thought in your mind and think a good thought and by thinking you start feeling happy then that happiness you have created, how? From that good thought from your hypothalamus, pituitary which we call happy hormones serotonin, melatonin, these are all happy hormones These makes us feel very calm and at peace feel very calm and contented from within but these feelings which are generated these too are generated because of our thinking so if you have a bad thinking then your body will also be spoiled If your thinking is good then your body will be fine so when we do chanting of mantra then firstly with which feeling we are doing that one, lord is my father such a good feeling I am not an ordinary person whose children? of the Lord From whom this whole world is created I am his part so what to worry? What should I be worried about? I am not worried about anything because when such omnipotent father is there then child doesn't have to worry about anything No counter argument can arise So with this feeling that I am part of lord I am his child and I am going to remember His name so this is a good thought or a good feeling your beginning of mantra then as you started doing chanting of mantra so you have started creating a good sound vibrations and the sound sound waves that are there these will start giving effect on your glands and as there will be good effects on your glands then the happy hormones will start begin to release from your glands and one day that time will come when to feel happiness you don't have any need of shopping or cinema you just closed your eyes and treated your internal system a good thought, mantra chant a good feeling and with the recitation of the mantra you will begin to create happiness for you Its a great revolutionary thing now you have to feel happiness, you have to go to market now, to feel happiness you need a friend now, to feel happiness you need some party, you need some gift But I am teaching you a way in which you can create happiness for yourself wherever whenever and you don't have to think you don't have to wait for certain time or certain thing to happen to feel good anytime anywhere you You have correct your body posture Now why we say to sit in the correct posture? Why your spine should be erect? because deep inside in our spinal column cerebrow spinal fluid is there When you sit erect and when you do chanting of mantra then it gives affect on your cerebrospinal fluid and its effect will be coming in your whole body in whole body, I give you one example If very cold and you don't get warm water or heater no hot water, have to go school and have to bath and very difficult how to bath in such cold water then you start a little by putting it on your face if it is tolerated here then little on arms if this too is tolerable then wash your feet then you feel to wash more till knees now the water is feeling cold but not that much, but is say you are bathing in installments instead you fill a mug of water and you pour it directly on your back that is to your spine your whole body will get a shock but at once, after that then nothing will be there sometimes in winters when there is no hot water and have to bath then don't run away from bath, must bath with courage pour one mug at your back just once after that all your cold will be gone reflex action that is going to come from your spine this will release such strong energy in your body because our brain is not only conjoined in upper part Our muscles too have brain Our spine too have its own CNS (central nervous system) That is working in its automated form and is very strong The yogasans which we do, in that these spinal reflexes and to our spine oxygen good blood is going to rush towards the spine and it is going to nourish your spine so it is going to enhance and improve your capacity to forebear any kind of adverse climate, temperature and even adverse and extreme behaviors of people and temperaments of people, It won't affect you then so by sitting erect firstly, we get vigilant sleep doesn't come, laziness go away

in which mind there is confusion, ignorance in which mind there is attachments, aversions that can't even pray contemplation is a high thing and meditation is impossible whose emotional base is not strong who cries in every thing, get irritated in every thing the mind which gets hot and cold in everything that mind is giving the indication that he has not received till that state where mind has become mitigated water and mind....both are very similar heat the water,it gets hot, it gets boiled put water in lower temperature it turn into ice becoming cold mind also...when it receives respect, love, attention so it becomes cold...but when this mind its desire is not fulfilled is disrespected by the person in front of him have to face difficult situation then it looses itself,it becomes hot so I will say anger, desire, sensuality heat the mind it gets heated by offense also when there is attachment then it cools down for a while so the mind, which now keeps drowning in ocean of emotion that mind which is not yet still, that mind which is not yet calm for that mind meditation is a dream Nityam dhayanti yoginaha Yogi does its meditation daily of what? of 'Omkar swaroop' when said, "Omkar swaroop" there is no hands, legs, nose, face, head, nothing so question arises whose nose, face, hands, legs, head are not there who is not 'Trigunatmak' who has no body how does Yogi does its meditation? this is a very strange mystery which in first stanza didn't say it also but gave indication towards it also Yogi does its meditation everyday of what? which is 'Binduswaroop'...so what is 'Bindu'? understand this way, if we want to draw a circle with a compass so the point where we kept the tip of the compass that became bindu(dot) and when we rotated the compass so the pencil attached with the compass drew a circle the line which is drawn that is far from the dot but without that dot this line wouldn't have been made so the dot and the external line has very deep connection between them now this dot and this external line has a connection in between them the radius which connect the dot, the outer line to the center which is connecting, if we want from the periphery line, from that line we can draw many lines towards the dot and from the dot then we can draw many lines and take them till that outer line your body, your mind, your senses your subtle body, your causal body what is the dot of these three body of yours? body is outer line, senses are the inner lines mind is further inner line, intelligence further more inner line consciousness if further inner line,ego is further inner line but what is the dot of all these lines? he is saying to do meditation of that dot in scriptures, in Vedas, in Upanishads, in Puranas the truth that is disclosed, not everybody understands that truth so according to their respective understanding and intelligence they bring out some sense of it said, "do meditation of bindu" but he was unable to search bindu, how will he search it? because your mind is always outside only is attached to body, so all the time since you are born you have only cared about the body what to eat? What to wear? When to sleep? When to wake up? cared about senses,where shall I go to see? where shall I go to listen something?where shall I go to enjoy something? so your tendencies are external.....mind is outside and the bindu that is talked about in this shloka, that bindu is inside one who is wandering outside how will he find this bindu? that's why in Gita, in bani of Guru, in all bani...one there is a similarity, a common factor and everyone is saying one thing repeatedly that there is nothing outside, whatever is there, it is inside whatever is outside that is unstable whatever is outside that is mortal whatever is outside that is transient whatever is outside that is dream whatever is outside that is not truth and what is within you to know that first you have to remove mind from outside until you remove your mind from outside, how will it go inside? so do meditation of that bindu do the meditation of that Omkar roop bindu now it doesn't mean at all that when you say, "Om, Om"closing your eyes that is meditation of Om that is not meditation of Om... say like this... Om has also three forms No.1 which we can disclose by 'baikhri vani' if I say, you will listen, if you will say then my ears will hear then there is subtle form of Om which we call "Tarangatmak" and then there is another type of Om now someone say Om...Om through tongue externally or remember Om in mind this is not meditation of Om from this external sound we are creating a path inside from this sound of Om...from this harmony of Om we can try to travel to reach the bindu what is the problem? you sat for sometime....did sound of Om and while doing harmony of Om only....so many worldly the thoughts of attachment and aversion and wishes don't let you sit...they take you up you can't sit when the topic of sitting comes I always remember the words of a revered mahatma he used to say, "If sat... then sat for whole week" sat for week and not that he is sitting with crossed legs or he is sitting in some common position, crossed legs...he is sitting in Padmasana this is not about 2, 4, 8 hours, he is talking of weeks he is not just saying about day time, he is saying about night also that if sleep also happened then slept sitting in that for some time actually the sleep which gives relaxation to our body,to the muscles mind which keeps running after desires that mind gets relaxed for some time during sleep but researchers have found that deep sleep doesn't happen for more than 10 minutes in people in spite of lying at night for 6-8 hours most of the times they are in dreams or are in light sleep deep sleep is only for 10 minutes and this 10 minutes sleep also doesn't got by everyone, many people are there whose this sleep has also gone because of there wishes and desires so they only take sleep of dream and then they wake up but this 10 minute sleep that is there this sleep fills your body with energies and makes it healthy also...it's a thing to be thought of it's a thing to be thought that why does your mind thinks? why does thought arises in mind? so we can say like this that a thought is there which is related to body felt hungry...felt thirsty or have eaten and drank so have to get up for urination and defecation or can say while sitting legs pained, knee pained, backache happened that's why had to get up so the thought of getting up came because the obstruction of body is coming in between secondly, if you think then what thoughts keep running in your mind? so the thoughts of others always keeps running your wife, husband, mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, neighbors, office your boss, your servants, country, politics so we can say that your thoughts are always about somebody else the problem is that if you had ever thought about yourself then all other thoughts would have stopped you never thought about yourself, thoughts are always engaged about others you think yourself in reference to others like someone should ask me, someone should respect me, someone should love me someone should honour me, someone should gift me something someone should touch my feet so you bring yourself later, you bring others first so the one who thinks about others, he is worldly and who think about himself he is seeker seeker also thinks but he doesn't think about others he thinks about himself by which my mind will get dirt,I won't think about that keep the lake of the mind calm waves should not form in the lake of my mind may I calm my mind so for that he tries to make his mind totally thoughtless and only he can do that who has started to think of himself know this...even body is not you, the body is the other this body is also not me body is also separate,you see everyday...every morning when you comb, so while combing you throw the hair attached to your own head and you don't feel hurt at all and you don't cry also I threw myself in dustbin...you don't say like this also the hair which is attached to head now this is me...you feel like that but while combing the hair which were removed, the ones which came into the comb you don't feel any attachment to them for 1 paise also you just wrap it around in the finger and throw it in garbage can we say that you have thrown yourself into the garbage bin but yet you throw it now nails which are attached to body, you say my nails among girls, among women, they put nail polish do lot of hard work... means taking scrap they keep on scraping nails for half an hour...polish they manicure it, tried to make it beautiful and they see that they are in right shape and right contour if they like it so they ask others also, "How is it looking?" how are 'my' hands looking? or how 'my' nails are looking..."My" 'I' is also there and 'My' is also there but when she herself cuts her nails to give them shape so she throws those nails so it means that body is that much separate from you like your clothes... the towel, the napkin, the clothes which you use, you wore, they become dirty you removed and threw them you put them to clean, you sent them for dry cleaning, so this body is disposable, when you are alive then it is partly disposable and when you die then completely disposable your body...is not yours...it is gotten by you is gotten to you for some time, for some years Ishavasya upanishad... it is the second shloka, "May I live for 100 years of age" and be engaged in higher works, May I live for 100 years our a very beloved Mahatma was there he used to say that this is not for once...every morning before bathing do prayer so while putting water on head also chant and remember this shloka that may I live 100 years from today not 100 year in the whole but everyday you are saying 100 years may I keep the body alive forever so that the possibility that I have today of human body I can use it properly....I can use it in adequate amount see...when I see people, they are the biggest enemy of their body eat wrong... remain awake till late night by getting angry and worried they make their body diseased eating wrongfully they imbalance vatta, pitta, kapha of their body all diseases come for that reason kapha increased so diseases like asthma, bronchitis heart diseases like atherosclerosis happens pitta increased so much, so acidity, ulcers, boils start to form if vatta diseases become more then brain damaging, heart damaging diseases can happen our ancestors had understood this thing very well that we can't live against nature...we have to live in tuning with the nature...we can not go against the nature

You throw domestic waste outside and make an announcement today I threw 4 Kg waste outside do you know? if you had seen then you would know I am a such a big renouncer no one says that but if someone gives up on wealth so pride in that renouncement too I gave up so much I left so much the path of devotion says do not give up if it gets dropped due to some passion then let it go because when it gets left behind then you will not make an announcement of it if you let go then you will tell a hundred people I gave up 20 Cr Objects of sensory indulgence were worth leaving they are meant to be dropped off now you may let go of them from the mind or you may physically leave them- which ever is possible one thing I must say is giving up completely is not possible reason being, body is there so will feel hungry will need clothes if it falls sick then will need medicine too and for all this money too is needed it is possible that you may in your cupboard 500 or 1000 shirts and trousers you keep how many do you have in your cupboard go back and count today how many you have and how many more you buy a 70 year old woman from her Chester she took out a red saree a very pretty one with beautiful craftsmanship she says, this is from when I became a bride I asked why do you still have it? she says these are memories I said of youth? she said no of my husband no one ever speaks the truth she was carefully holding on to it I said what will you do with it now you do not wear it or is there a plan say to wear it on your 75th birthday she said nothing like that this is no more in fashion so when it is not in fashion why are you holding on to it, give it away your daughter in law or your daughter would be happy to wear it she said no I am not able to give it, when I die after that they will get it after I die, I will give it I said what will you give then automatically people will get it, experience the joy of giving, give it with your hands whoever you give it to will be happy a lady was saying... she was wearing solitaires in her ears the big one, single piece diamond she was wearing, she said I have given away all, only this I have which I am wearing and I have told daughter in law, after I die these are yours I said are you out of your mind, why did you tell now only either just give it why did you say it? she said meaning? I said day and night she will be thinking when is this old lady going to die every time she looks at you, she will see these diamonds. why did you say so? she said but now I have said it after death you do not give automatically all is left behind everything gets left behind So what does A wise person do.. he says what will be left behind one day I give that up from my mind today itself left it Srimad Bhagwad says you do not worry about leaving the world if you give up then, you will be egotistic about it, so it is good that you only focus on one thing that in Krishna's sweet ambrosia how your mind can be rooted because if now see, the Vrindavan that is outside when you go there, no Krishna, will be seen playing the flute okay let's assume assume that some one who can play the flute making him wear a crown with a peacock feather with a yellow drape with earrings in ear lobe bangles in the hands, anklets on the feet, with an ornamented belt make him stand outside Bihariji's (Krishna) temple and ask him to play the flute too he may be playing the flute beautifully and he plays so will you accept him to be Krishna won't you ask 'from which drama' 'company are you from' 'who are you?' why are you doing this? how much money have you been paid? how much will you earn in a day? you will not accept him as Krishna you will know this that he is not the real Krishna get attached to the true Krishna that true Krishna is there within you but at that time when Krishna was present in his gross form then he by playing his flute he attracted everyone's heart and got them by his side so they would forget their home their family & the world now they say Krishna is so enigmatic he's so beautiful His appearance was so encaptivating and gracious One day his face he saw in the mirror the gem stone garland that he was wearing around his neck in that itself there were mirrors meaning there must have been a glass pendant he was playing with it and he saw his own face in it, so for a long time he kept looking at it and then to his older brother he says 'Ballu!' 'if I were Radha, then' 'I too would have married this one!' 'He is so beautiful!' He has seen his own image, his own reflection upon seeing that He is mesmerised so if others are mesmerised by Krishna then what is the big deal about it? In Srimad Bhagwad, the form of Krishna as described hearing of that form repeatedly Meera's mind became one with Him see you too look at the pictures & photograph you look at the idols too but you do not feel the same way the way Meera felt, the way Surdas felt reason being? the reason is that at some point in time or other lost in divine remembrance eyes must have closed, and in closed eyes that divine Darshan of Shree Krishna must have happened and after that Darshan that divine Darshan of Shree Krishna must have happened and after that Darshan the mind went away alone by looking at the photo/idol the mind doesn't go crazy like that? Strange, isn't it? the mind's vices one does not do away with but outside four broken four rotten sticks one gathers burns them and says this is Holika Pujan, This is not how Holi Pujan is done With the fire of pure wisdom, the mind's vices the greed & attachment for objects of indulgence, worldly craving must be burned and the one who burns them for such one, it is Holi the colourful Holi is for those for a long time, Shri Krishna kept testing the Gopis for such a long time Krishna with his love through playing his flute through His playfulness through His divine dramatics kept attracting their minds towards Himself and when their minds completely connected with Him became one with him, it is said then then Krishna played a lot with colours this ritual of Holi this began with Krishna before that it was not there so the meaning of Holi is not hooliganism the way it has become today Holi has a very deep subtle meaning is there and it is related to love with pangs of separation (from the divine)
